The location is unbelievable. You are 2-3 minutes away from incredible bars, restaurants, and shopping stores. Walk 10-15 minutes, and you're in the heart of Getsemani, or on the other side of Old Town. The staff are also very attentive and helpful. As an example, we inquired about arranging a boat trip to an island, and were immediately sent four options; after we selected one, we got it booked and sorted within 15 minutes. Additionally, the breakfast options are great, the bed is extremely comfortable, the pool view is wonderful, and the overall hotel is designed beautifully which makes your stay more enjoyable.

Everything. Could not have picked a better hotel for our 4 night stay. Huge and comfortable apartment-style rooms with full kitchen, laundry room, balcony, etc. Great breakfast included, brought to our apartment every morning. You get to pick between several breakfast options. Beautiful rooftop with great views, 2 pools, and nice and helpful staff.

We liked everything.

The place is clean, spacious, and well decorated* (*read below). The location is great, and the breakfast delivered to the loft is a nice touch. The AC can get as cold as a polar bear would like.

The place is a little expensive for what seems need minor maintenance. For example, shower drain needs to be unclogged so it drains properly. Some of the furniture is damaged and needs to be fixed. I did not like that the snacks were laid out without me knowing what was complimentary or paid. I ended up using a bag coffee that was not included, which is something that is always included in any other hotel. For the price of ~500 USD/night, I expected a flawless experience in Cartagena. However, it was close to that.

Great location, middle of the old town, with a super nice little pool to relax after a hot day walking around!

The breakfast is being served in the rooms, but the tables for it are a bit too small. We had our breakfast at the main area, but it's the same area where the staff is getting together afterwards for meetings and doing phone calls, which is a bit weird to have it as a common use for staff and guests. Breakfast was okish, not special, but just ok.

Perfect location. Inside the walled city - right near Starbucks, Hard Rock Cafe, and plenty of other restaurants, cafes, bars, anything you could want. Probably the best located hotel in Cartagena. 5 minutes from the Port if you need to take a boat ride somewhere. As a Westerner, I found this to be the best location to be in Cartagena. Safe and secure, huge pool on the roof, massive loft apartment with lobby, laundry, kitchen, master bedroom, lounge, and more. You can walk everywhere, and the streets are beautiful.

It was perfect.

The room was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed, the staff went out of their way to accommodate all our needs, and maybe one of the biggest reasons to come stay at Casa Claver is the location, it simply is the ideal location, we stayed five days and never needed a taxi o any transportation, everything was at walking distance.

The room was gorgeous and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding -- brought to the room each morning and very, very tasty. Staff (especially Benjamin) were very attentive. The location, especially if you take boat trips to Rosario Islands, is ideal. The walled city is easy enough to move around no matter your location.

Had some communication issues during the evening shift...in part because our Spanish was not great and in part because the night crew's English was worse than our Spanish. No wifi one day, but that was not directly the fault of the property. It felt like they were understaffed a bit but then again I am unsure how many other customers they had also staying there.

The location of the hotel is perfect - in the Old Town and close to all the key attractions. We had a room on the roof terrace which gave us near-exclusive use of the pool and lots of outdoor space.

We were initially given a room whose only window gave directly on the hotel lobby space. It would have meant a room without a window - for six days! Luckily we were changed to a great room. The breakfasts are pre-prepared - for no reason I can understand, so that the hot part of the meal is cold. Breakfast is not served with honey or jam (just peanut butter!) and the four choices are joyless. The common space is very limited and in the room there is no desk where I could work. No glasses are provided in the room (aside from two champagne flutes) and the water is available either in the mini-bar or purchased in town. This seems an unnecessary limitation for a hotel of this category.

Hotel was beautiful. Unique layout of rooms and in an absolutely fantastic location. Few minutes stroll from the wall in a really pretty street. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pools were beautifully located with sunbeds and towels provided. Not many rooms in this hotel - it really is boutique but that made it quiet and relaxing.

The only thing we might have expected was a roof bar but that was our fault not the hotels (they never claimed to have one - just us misunderstanding) and there are plenty close by if you really wanted to do that. The hotel are also absolutely fine with taking bought drinks or mini bar drinks up to the roof top though to enjoy a sundowner on the roof terrace.

I couldn't believe how spacious our room was, especially considering the price! And with the location being on a central but much more peaceful street, it truly felt like an oasis from the hectic town. Also the free included breakfast was great both in sheer portion and taste.
