Friendly & Helpful Concierge Marisol runs a tight ship with this boutique hotel right in the heart of the Old City. This 17th C Structure converted to a 4 suite bed & breakfast is a cool, spacious quiet sanctuary from the busy cobblestoned street outside . The valet/butler Jose, is the most affable & eager to please attendant/bellhop ever. The staff are like family, and you're part of theirs. The rooftop pool is small but perfect for relaxing sunning then cooling off. The rooms are charming and the Southeastern Asian decor adds to the tranquility. The portal in from the street is always locked and you are let in by concierge or night attendant. Safe. Quiet.

Can't think of anything

The staff are amazing- kind, helpful, friendly. Great location, close to everything, but not noisy at night. Very nice roof terrace and pool. Good fresh Colombian breakfast.

If you want something additional/different at breakfast, they don’t tell you it’s an extra cost until you see your bill at the end. If we’d known 2 fried eggs cost $5 we might not have bothered each morning. The menus have no prices, so ask the price or you might get a shock!

The hotel itself was very beautiful! Open concept with a tree through the middle and minimal ceilings. The rooftop pool was great during the day, especially with the nice breeze that went through. I was within walking distance of several well-reviewed restaurants for dinner and plenty of coffee shops within a 5-minute walk. The staff at the hotel were friendly and I had great interactions with everyone.

I didn't like the breakfast or food available at the hotel's restaurant. Even still, that was not an issue since there were restaurants I did like about a 1 to 2-minute walk away.

I stayed for 4 nights and it was great. I like the idea that the hotel is an old house. Kind and helpful staff. Perfect location. I read comments here that some people felt unsafe..I felt absolutely safe any hour of the day and night. The room very spacious, there is no daylight in the room, but when you’re in Cartagena, you’re outside. Beautiful view from the rooftop and refreshing little pool, I was always alone whenever I went there. And I enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace.

This is a very well located hotel in the walled city centre. It is a small property so is peaceful. The room was excellent and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

It was disappointing to be charged for 5 nights when we only stayed 2 nights. This was a surprising error and we hope it was not deliberate. The way in which this error was handled took the shine off our otherwise very good stay.

* Location - in the heart of the Old Town. Take the room with the courtyard vie to be sure it is not noisy * Spacious room and bathroom * Very clean * Good wifi, Netflix and satellite chanels

* Only one person (wonderful manager) speaks English so don't expect any advice if you arrive on weekend * No breakfast menu so you have to explain everything and communication is tricky (English!)

We loved this beautiful boutique hotel inside the walled city of Cartagena. It has lovely Southeastern Asian decor and beautiful architecture. The pool was small but perfect for cooling off on the rooftop. The room was spacious and super comfortable. The shower was awesome! The breakfast on the balcony was superb! Fresh and delicious. Excellent location, close to very good restaurants. Felt very safe. Jose, Marisol and Oscar were wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Although we did not speak Spanish we were able to communicate very well with the help of translating apps. Jose was super helpful and insisted on bringing our luggages upstairs. I strongly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel, to which I would love to return one day.

Nothing! Everything was perfect! However, one thing guests should know, is that there are no elevators. Although it was not a problem for us, it would be for someone with mobility issues.

This hotel has a great location and it’s very comfy. I felt in home. The decoration is also very beautiful and the rooms are huge and extremely clean. The rooftop is also a nice place to begin or to end your day. The staff is nice and always available to respond to your needs. Thank you

Honestly, I think that for the price you pay (€€€), this hotel should have more breakfast options (it’s always the same). I would recommend to change the breakfast format as well. Instead of a staff member serving you, I would prefer an open/ free breakfast model. In spite of this preferences, the food is good and homemade (thumbs up).

A proper boutique hotel. We spent 6 nights in this hotel in the middle of Cartagena. Quiet and big bedrooms, beautiful and spacious living room. The breakfast can be served in the balcony, which is very authentic. Everything was super clean. The pool is lovely as well. Very safe area. The staff is very polite and take care of you, Jose was great and very helpful. Definitely coming back

Excellent location, lovely clean room with an extremely comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Nice rooftop area to relax with a small pool. The highlight for this hotel is its friendly and extremely helpful staff.

This is supposed to be an adult only hotel and for three mornings in a row we had to put up with somebody’s toddler running around in the lounge area and around the pool
