The location is terrific for visiting Cartagena, not too noisy and walkable to everything. The door is also manned 24 hours a day. There is a sweet small pool in the back courtyard. Breakfast was really good with good service. The staff is friendly here. If you want a low-key place to stay with tastefully decorated rooms that is clean and well-located, stay here. We didn't have hot water for 2 days and they moved us to a room in the back without a balcony and no monetary compensation for a room without a view, however, a word to the light sleeper, a room in the back is far quieter from the late night street noise than the ones in the front with balcony's overlooking the street.

Hote Casa La Mantilla is a super cute boutique hotel in the middle of the Old City. The location is perfect as it is in the middle of everything you want to see. My room had a huge comfy bed and a gorgeous balcony that overlooked the street so I got plenty of sunshine every morning. The hotel has the cutest little pool (perfect for a solo photo shoot) and a jacuzzi on the rooftop. Breakfast was made to order in the morning and the staff brought lovely sweet treats to the room each evening. The staff in general was AMAZING. I really enjoyed everything about my stay and would definitely stay here again when visiting Cartagena.

Everything was lovely. Shops and restaurants were in walking distance. The room was clean and quaint. The street can be a little noisy, but honestly the commotion added to the ambiance of the place.

I loved the location of this hotel along with the included breakfast, pool and friendly staff! I had a late flight when I was departing and I was able to hangout there and use the public shower near the pool after not having access to my room post-checkout. It was a comfortable stay for a solo female traveler too!

The top bed sheet was a little dirty when I arrived, but it wasn’t a ton and it made up for the fact that you can choose when you want someone to clean your room.

My friend and I had an absolutely excellent stay. The service and staff were absolutely exceptional. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and were exceptionally hospitable. They allowed us to store our luggage while we stayed a few nights on the islands, which was really helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic and check in/out was a breeze. The two rooms we stayed in were beautifully appointed, quiet, and had everything we needed. We didn't make it down to the pool but did enjoy a rooftop soak in the hot tub. The location is fantastic, the building secure, and is walkable to everything. We had a wonderful time and would come back in a heartbeat!

The staff is wonderful and the architecture is colonial, very gorgeous. The bed was perfect comfort. shower was warm and welcoming. Majority of the staff also speak basic English which is helpful.

I think it is a private house across the street or next door that throws wild parties until 6:00AM. So, between loud music, taxies taking people to and from and constantly honking their horn just outside your window, I didn't sleep well.

Wonderful location in a slightly less quieter section of Cartagena walled city - very sleek decor, nice breakfast and very helpful staff, particularly Dainer who went above and beyond to help and offered some great advice in helping us choose a pasa dia option for the Rosario Islands.

The room does not have a desk to sit and do some work. The pool is in the second floor but it does not have a good ambiance. Finally there is no elevator and it is 4 floors to go to the roof top

Amazing staff. They go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The room is very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you might need. Overall a very good experience at this hotel.

Although the hotel has 4 floors, it doesn’t have an elevator so be mindful of that in case you have accessibility issues. Other than that there’s no complaints on my end.

Quiet location in Cartagena’s old town, yet only a few minutes walking to several squares and the wall. Very comfy bed, comfortable bathroom and quiet AC. Top notch! The rooftop jacuzzi and ground floor pool were great elements too.

Not a dislike, but good to know: the hotel is in an old colonial building, meaning there’s no elevator.

It was in a very good location, and the staff was very friendly, and the property felt well maintained. WiFi was good.

The shower was horrible. Barely any pressure and the temperature was either scalding or cold. This is one of my biggest pet peeves, but it’s my only complaint. I have zero other complaints.
