The staff was very friendly and attentive, especially in communicating with me while I was arranging a change in flight to Cartagena. We were so warmly welcomed by Mira, like we were friends! The hotel is lovely and our room was very spacious and well decorated. The bed was comfortable, and with the air running at night the room was dark and quiet. The location is fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. It's in the walled city, but on the outskirts so it's quieter and away from the crowds. It's easy walking to anywhere in the walled city or even the fortress. It was fantastic to come back to the calm of the hotel and cool off in the pool after a hot day exploring the city. I would definitely stay here again!

The Moet Cartagena Boutique Hotel is rather marvellous. It is much more than a hotel. I would rather see it as a private historic house in which one is what one should be - a guest. There are 7 rooms, 5 on the ground floor and 2 on the 1st floor, and I believe there are 7 staff. The hotel manager and 6 other very professional and friendly people. And you meet them all and learn their names, and they all known you by your name. Evidently a 7 bedroom hotel can be limited if what you fancy is a big foyer with pianos where to parade your beach outfits, or a big swimming pool and spa, or a large buffet breakfast, or whatever you might like from a big hotel. For me, personnally, it was a wonderful place where to spend a few days in peace and quiet, right in the centre of a noisy, bustling and hot city, with friendly professional service and an unfussy but delicious freshly made breakfast. One small detail... Cartagena´s historic centre is busy and the hotel is in a restored historic corner house facing two streets... so... if you are easily disturbed by city noise you should not look for a hotel anywhere in the city centre...

Moet Cartagena was FANTASTIC. I was traveling with my mom to celebrate her birthday early. The staff and the property manager were all very helpful and accommodating from the start. My flight got delayed and they arranged for my mom to be picked up from the airport so that she wouldn't travel alone. The staff also arranged for my mom to have a birthday surprise and they were all very attentive and made sure we had all our needs met. The facility is beautiful and very peaceful. It is centrally located so we could get everywhere we needed by foot. It is also close to the sea and the sunset view is breathtaking from the rooftop. The breakfast is 5 stars! Really well crafted, delicious, and nutritious with a balanced assortment of fruits, egg dish, bread and choice of coffee and natural jucie. Special shoutout to Marisabel, Zerlis, Esteban and Maira for helping us make this stay such a special time. I cannot be more grateful. Thank you so much.

Beautiful property with kind staff and amazing breakfasts. Centrally located in the Walled City but away from the noise of the nightlife and party buses. We had issues with a very noisy neighbor and the hotel manager was incredibly helpful in addressing the problem. She is one of the best parts of Moet Cartagena!

The walls are pretty thin - to the point of needing earplugs to drown out the noise from traffic. Also, the rooms have some added technology to turn on the TV and lights and raise the shades, but without a printed guide, we found ourselves forgetting the prompts and having to repeat ourselves over and over. Not sure this is really necessary.

There is not one place you could be happier in Cartagena. The hotel itself has a beautiful design that makes it feel like an oasis. The rooms have fully funtional domotica even though it seems like a classical Spanish home. All the facilities are exceptional (especially the shower!), but the best part of the hotel is the owner and the staff. They are the heart of this place. From the minute you arrive you feel at home, relaxed and taken care of. The service is impeccable. Maira even managed to get us a last minute reservation at a great restaurant on christmas eve. Every time we came back to the hotel, our friends of the staff were waiting and there were little chocolates on the bed.

Nothing, I cannot recommend it enough.

The best part was the attentiveness of the staff. They helped us book a trip to the islands, were always accommodating, and did everything with a smile. The place was clean, and had everything you need - including a good A/C unit. The pool is good for a cool-off during the day. The location isn’t too terribly loud, but of course they use their horns like mad down there and if you’re from the states this might be annoying for you.

Really not much bad to say at all. The breakfast was tasty. But I’m not a very picky eater. One day the electronics was out for about 2 hours. Very minor inconvenience.

Moet is perfectly placed for city exploration. It's a skip away from all the action that Cartagena has to offer. - 2 min walk to Cafe del Mar Hotel & amenities: It is chic meets cozy in a décor that's so Insta-worthy, you'll be posting like a pro. From the moment you step into the lobby, you'll be enchanted by the elegant decor that seamlessly blends in modern sophistication with timeless charm. Rooms? Comfy beds and Google assisted technology. "Hey Google, open shades, turn lights on, etc.". Food? Breakfast is incredibly yummy! Great drinks and snacks too! The real stars? The staff! They're hospitality superheroes, ready to swoop in and save the day with a smile. During our stay, hubs wasn't feeling well, and the staff went to the pharmacy for us and helped us order food amongst other things. They truly went out of their way to help us out. They are amazing. Thank you Angelis, Brayan, Paola, Katherine, Edith & Mauricio for the amazing hospitality. You are what makes Cartagena so great! ✨️ Highly recommend!

What wasn’t to love? The decor was beautiful, the staff were so lovely and friendly and Maia (unsure if she is the owner or just runs it) was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us! The hotel was that beautiful I took pictures for inspiration in my own home renovation!

We could hear other guests quite easily through our door and bathroom window (our room was opposite the pool) but it really wasn’t that much of a problem! The hotel was silent by the time we returned from dinner or our evening.

This is the perfect place to say in Cartagena. Location: very central and away from the noise of the city, yet walking distance from all the key sights. Service: staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel: very clean and very beautiful. Rooftop sunset view is very peaceful. Our family sat up with a few drinks and enjoyed the time. Gluten-free upon request, and the breakfast is amazing. Thank you, Maria, for the wonderful stay and looking after us.

The hotel has a great location, you can walk from there to the city centre and everything you need. View from the rooftop is very nice. The room was quite quiet and very clean. Smart room was a little bit hard to handle, but once we figured it out it worked quite well. Breakfast was exceptional and felt very exquisite. Staff was very friendly. Also the small pool is very nice, overall an exceptional hotel where you feel very at home and cosy.

The doors to the toilet are see-through which is not a very private experience for the one using it. There could be more spaces to hang things.
