Perfect Stay in a Prime Location I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect—quiet and peaceful at night, yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring. What really stood out to me, though, was the hospitality. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home during our stay. It was clear they cared about their guests’ comfort and enjoyment. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. It offers the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and excellent service.

Hotel was centrally located within the old city/walls of Cartagena. It was also walking distance to the waterfront and Getsemani. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, shower hot and decor beautiful. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast daily was delicious and the italian restaurant - we ate there one night - was good as well. Eduardo Galindo, was amazing, so helpful and welcoming. I would recommend the hotel.

The only two issues - the room had double beds, which was fine for me and my sister, but the bathroom did not have a door for privacy. It was fine b/c we are women and sisters but could see this being awkward for two people who are not close or comfortable. Also, the room fridge did not get very cold. We did not use the minibar items but keept bottled water in there - but it did not get very cold.

We had a WONDERFUL stay-- the staff was VERY friendly, they made us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast is great. The hotel is beautiful, we loved the rooftop pool and view. The location is perfect, close to the action in the city, however it was also quiet.

Everything was wonderful, one thing to note, I was staying with two persons who were over 80 years old and could have used more light in the room and bathroom. I believe the hotel offers additional lights if interested, we were staying for one night, so decided to not take advantage of this possibility. If we stayed for longer, we would have.

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. Right in the middle of the walled city and an easy walk to great restaurants and bars. The inner courtyard was so pretty! The room was large and very comfortable. The included breakfast was very good.

The only reason I gave this hotel a 9 instead of 10 is that there was no way to order drinks from the rooftop pool, so you would have to go down to the restaurant to get drinks and then go back up to the rooftop. We had also been excited to check out the hotel bar because it looked really nice, but it never seemed to be open.

There is no toilet brush in the bathroom. Room / Lights were quite dark. After check out, staff / receptionist ran to our room and checked if everything is alright even he asked me before. Created a feeling they didn’t trust us even the had my credit card in case something would be not alright. For a 5 star hotel not professional. Never had this situation before in other countries.

The breakfast was great. They were accommodating by making pancakes and omelette to order. Eduardo provided great customer service. His private tour and guide was very informative, interesting and very professional. Eduardo was always available to answer any questions. Angie and the maygel in the check in area were very accommodating. There recommendations to have dinner at one of there other locations was on point.

My room was close to the music and dinner guest. Could be a bit to loud at times.

The selection in the Italian restaurant could have been larger. The Japanese Restaurant should be advertised more, we only found it on our last evening

A beautiful modern hotel with big, well appointed rooms and great air conditioning which you absolutely need! The staff were incredible, friendly and super helpful. The location is really excellent, central but also in a slightly quieter part than some of the noisier areas in the Old City. The hotel restaurant is truly fantastic.

A very small thing but the cupboard for clothes could have had shelves inside and not just been an open storage space. The pool is beautiful but is right by the lobby and restaurant, not in a specially demarcated place. We tended to wait until quieter times, between meal services, to swim.

I didn’t want to leave this hotel! It’s one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were brilliant and attentive. Big thanks to Luis! The hotel is clean, designed beautifully and is very quiet. Rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There’s a great cocktail bar and Italian restaurant downstairs. Situated on a quiet street too. Everything from start to finish was great and I hope to return.

The decor of this hotel is amazing. I've visited Cartagena before and love the vibe of these small boutique hotels. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was super helpful in obtaining reservations for us throughout our stay, brokering the charter of a boat, and we even ate dinner from the hotel restaurant in a private room one night. The breakfast was perfect and there was a lot of variety. We visited in a group of 8 and we all absolutely loved our stay.

Sometimes, the bath water was not hot, and you had to wait a long time, but it was not that inconvenient at all.
