Great staff, really helpful and welcoming, they even made us a welcome cocktail. Our room was comfortable. The aircon worked well and the pool was clean. It's a great place to chill and feels like an oasis of calm compared to Getsemeni and the walled city There's supermarkets and some good food places nearby and we managed fine with the kitchen. We stayed because we were taking a sailing trip and the jetty was at the bottom of the road. Perfect It will be my first choice when I return to Cartagena. It's easy to get to Getsemeni from here but it's much cooler, calmer and more spacious.

Really like this hostel - we actually came back and stayed here again when we returned to Cartagena. It has a beautiful pool area and has a very relaxed feel. Everything was very clean and the room was nice with comfortable beds and curtains for the bunks. About a 20 min walk to the historic area, feels like a safe area. Big grocery store just around the corner and the kitchen is relatively well equipped to make your own meals. Room includes a free drink each night by the pool which is a great touch.

Not the cheapest option for bunk room but considering the pool and cleanliness, it was acceptable to us. Wifi isn't super strong in the rooms at times but is great in the pool area.

I really enjoyed my time working by the pool here, I was alone while my partner travelled and it felt very safe. I was worried about booking accommodation outside of the walled city/getsemani but after staying here I can say that this particular area felt very safe, its also a short walk to Getsemani and very affordable compared to hotels in the main touristy areas of Cartagena. As a bonus there are two cute cats that also live on the property.

The pools had a shallow side and a deep side. The hostel was not too big, and enclosed so I felt safe if my kids went out by themselves for a bit. There were two friendly cats. The staff was nice, Johnny at the front desk was warm and helpful. It was kid friendly. There is a grocery store a short walk away. Good bar and cocktails.

Not much, cleaning is more like every second day. The showers don't get very warm but it's not necessary in the hot weather.

It was a nice little place outside of the busy center but with all amenities around one needs. The staff was friendly enough and the breakfast scratched the early itch. The swimming pool was a nice refresher and the common areas were cozy and allowed for easy socializing. The center was a short taxi ride away. The dorms provided enough privacy and there were only four beds, with their own lockers. They all had curtains which was great.

Absolutely loved this hostel! The pool area and kitchen were great. The room was really spacious with a massive bed, big TV and excellent AC - really needed as it was so hot in Cartagena. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quite a sociable atmosphere.

A bit of a walk from town, 20-25 mins ish but Ubers are super cheap so not an issue.

Pros: The location is a 15 minute walk from the main tourist part - which is good because you don't get bothered by people selling stuff. The private room was very nice, a decent size and had a really spacious bathroom too. Air con. Has a pool. Offers Breakfast. Check out is 12pm and they store luggage. Big supermarket is across the street.

Cons: The wifi was not strong enough to work. The only seating areas are outside so for remote working its not great. The breakfast has no dairy or gluten free or vegan options. The rooms have no windows just shutters - so the sound from outside you can hear. The street noise starts from 6am until about 10pm. There are no kitchen facilities, so no fridge or places to cook.

I really enjoyed that there was a bar, restaurant (until 2pm), and pool but that it was not a party hostel. The pool was cleaned every morning. I also liked that it was away from all the commotion of the centre. It was about a ten minute taxi ride to the centre. Also the supermarket down the street was very convenient. There were also ATMs located in the supermarket. The AC in the room worked great.

Breakfast was included but you have to pay for extras such as avocado, ham, etc. The bed was on the small side and hard but not out of the ordinary. Restaurant is only open until 2pm but after that it is a shared kitchen.

This is my 4th stay at this hostel in the past 5 months, perfect location as it’s near a Carulla store also good and safe street parking, a few restaurants nearby and of course for sailors like myself one block to the Cartagena marina, best of all are the staff, beautiful and helpful!

I got to dig for this one as everything is so good, maybe some updated pots and pans for the kitchen.
