Location excellent, 8-10 minutes walk to the centre of Getsemani. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Lovely little rooftop pool and view of the city.

We had two rooms booked over 4 days, our first room was nice but they noise coming from overhead was very bad , the staff seem to start working at 6:30 am and it becomes very noisy. We had another room booked, it was supposed to be a suite but it definitely was not a suite especially for the money we paid for it. The breakfast is very limited you only have one choice and if you want something different you have to pay for it which is very strange for a hotel especially if you are paying a premium price almost every hotel would have at least 3 or 4 options to choose from.

everything was likeable The front desk was very helpful. from the time you check in until the time you check out. I dropped my phone in the ocean. the gentleman was so kind to get me a bag of rice. when I say they go above and beyond for their guest. it's top tier. this hotel deserve a hotel of the year award. The location is perfect smack in the middle of all your fun excursion meeting points. only 15 minutes away from the airport. The room is very spacious and has great WiFi. I can keep going but I'll let y'all experience the amazing service for yourselves To the staff keep doing what you're doing your hard work isn't going unnoticed. unlock your greatness.

Lunala, was a perfect base to explore Getsemani, on a quiet street, yet easily within reach of the main tourist areas. Equally walkable to the old historic area and Manga (just to get the feel for the residential side, by the port). The breakfast was delicious and served in their cafe which had its own local vibe that was enjoyable. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in as were the pillows. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. Thank you for making our stay such a pleasure.

The pool area was lovely, but it gets very hot and not so comfortable to sit in. There were people there though, who were topping up their tan

We had a couple of setbacks, when we arrived the room was super cramped with all the pillows and sofas and so on, no windows, the bed wasn't cleaned... And DO NOT ask for twin beds. They are so small and horrible!! Its super uncomfortable, you'll barely fit in them, even hospital beds are bigger! However, they were really understanding and accommodating and made sure we had a good stay.

I spent four wonderful days at the hotel, in one of their junior suites. The room was spacious and bright, nicely decorated and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the little balcony too. The rooftop view was breathtaking! All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too and they arranged a granola breakfast for two mornings I needed to leave for tours before breakfast was served. The location is spot on - just 10 mins walk from the walled city and the port to the Rosario Islands; 5 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Getsemani. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too - much cheaper than in the walled city. I would certainly stay again here if I return to Cartagena!

Very nice boutique hotel with a super comfy bed. It was clean and located quite centric in Getsemani but in a quiet street. The pool is quite small but very nice for a short cool down. Breakfast was good

They have a very strict external guest policy (just to be aware). Our room only had a small window to the corridor / stairs so no proper outside light, but we were aware upfront.

Beautiful boutique property with such attentive staff. The staff was always ready and happy to assist us with anything we needed! the locationis also perfect, in the heart of Getsamani but away from all the loud noise and party busses. We loved the gourmet breakfast every day and the cute little cafe with excellent pastries.

Would love for the cafe to be open later...sometimes we got back later in the afternoon for a snack but it was closed. Also, the hairdryer in the bathroom is a tad outdated ( on the wall and no setting options...so for us girls with long hair it can fry our hair...)

Whilst some of the staff’s English was not as good as others, they were all very helpful, eg Alex went out to exchange money for me and he’ll carry your luggage so there’s no problem even if there’s no elevator. The location is perfectly close to all the sights, and external soundproofing was great as the streets can be noisy. Room was so clean and comfy, and I loved having option to take breakfast on the balcony in my suite or on the rooftop instead of the cafe.

Occasionally it was difficult to communicate with one or two of the staff but it’s not a huge problem with google translate and some gesturing!

Good location in Getsemani. The street is not too crowded or noisy and there are excellent restaurants within blocks, and an easy walk to the old town. We enjoyed the small pool on the roof and the view from the covered porch up top. It is quite hot outside, though, and the condenser units for the air conditioners are on the roof next to the porch so it is a little noisy and the heat from the condenser units blows across the porch periodically. But if there is a good breeze, it’s nice up there. The pool was the perfect way to cool off mid afternoon. Wi-Fi was decent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and attentive. Good, filling breakfast. In fact, we were so full after their free breakfast that we skipped lunch on both days that we stayed there.

Pros: - Great location in the heart of Getsemaní and also very close to the walled city. - Excellent service from all the staff, I can’t thank them enough for being so kind and helpful! They always assisted us with a smile on their faces, so we are very grateful! - Spacious and clean room with comfortable bed. - Tasty breakfast (not buffet, you ask what you like). - Cosy small pool with a beautiful lounge that has a fabulous water view.

Cons: - In such a hot place like Cartagena, it would have been tasteful to offer free drinking water throughout the stay, the hotel we stayed prior to Lunalá offered water, tea and coffee and that made a huge difference. - Breakfast took a very long time to get ready. I understand that there was only one person there, but we stayed over 1 hour at the breakfast room, when we could have been strolling around the city. The quantities are very large so it seems like a waste of food. - Even though the room was soundproof, we could still hear what was going on outside the door and the balcony, which could be a little annoying. - Shower was not completely enclosed by the glass so the floor of the bathroom would be constantly wet.
