The apartment we rented for 7 people was really large. Bigger then we expected. We really enjoy the place has it felt like we were in an other period of the time. The place is so beautiful decorated. Feeling like it hasn’t been touch so it give an full experience of how people were living here before. Everything is in wood. No plastic! We really felt feel like at home. The hotel is located just outside of gentsemanie noisy area. So it is close enough and quite. It is also walking distance from the city center. Area is safe and the concierge making sure the place is safe as well. We barely never closed the door of the apartment. The pool is definitely also a plus in this accommodation. Very nice and spacious apartment just few minutes away from the historical part of Cartagena. We had 2 rooms with 2 separate bathrooms and a huge living room. Air conditioning and warm water (after few days on the coast without) were a great perk :-) Also the swimming pool was great to chill during the warmest hours of the day.

Windows are very thin and old, therefore there’s no much sound insulation. The noise from the street can be bothersome, especially for the room right next to it. In the pool area it would be nice to have more deck chairs so that everybody have a place to lay down.

Location was fantastic in Getsemani. I find Getsemani more interesting than the old city with a very Bohemian feel and a ton of great restaurants and cafes. The building itself is gorgeous and gave me that colonial feel I was looking for. The room was large and bedrooms were on opposite sides of the room which gave us each a bit or privacy. Bathroom was huge with great water pressure and hot water. Staff were friendly. Pool was small, but great to take a dip in after working up a sweat during the day.

Really nothing for me, i would say for some people the stairs could be a problem and didn't effect me as I have some Spanish skills, but staff from what I saw only spoke Spanish(we are in Colombia after all)

Fantastic location. We were able to walk to Walled City in about 7- 10 minutes. Tons of great restaurants and bars in Getsemani were within a 5 minute walk. We did not need to take a taxi during our entire stay there. The building had 24 h front desk security who were all very friendly and helpful. They even held our bags for us overnight . The apartment was very spacious. The air conditioners worked well. It was great to come back in the afternoon for a swim as Cartagena is very toasty. Pool area had three padded loungers , a large table with chairs, shower , and bathroom.

The location was in the very cute neighborhood of Getsemani. It was close to everything. The pool was a refreshing escape from the oppressive Cartagena heat. Staff were kind and helpful. The price was quite reasonable. The AC does take a while to cool down the rooms because the ceilings are so high, but it does work well. The place is old but has a lot of character and charm. Would stay there again.

The place is a little bit run down, but not in a way that detracted from our stay. But if you’re expecting everything to be brand new and pristine, this probably isn’t a good fit.

The staff was wonderful and the property was very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the space was overall beautiful although very old. The paint was peeling and you can see water marks on the ceilings. Oddly, it added to the charm of the unit. I did not like that the roof was open into the unit because that allowed mosquitos to come in but overall the property was very nice and clean and the staff was great. I also felt very safe because there was a gate to come in and the outdoor door closed after a certain point in time at the night.

I did not like that at night, in the master bedroom you could hear cars or possibly the party buses pass by blasting very loud music. There were no noise canceling curtains, which would have been helpful late at night. I also wish there was a tv in the master bedroom in addition to the living room.

The building is very nice and there was definitely a lot of space in the apartment. Having a swimming pool in that hot weather was also very nice, although there were only three sunbeds which were all taken. The air con and hot water worked well, which is not to be taken for granted in Colombia. The house is close to the little busy streets of Gestsemani and a short walk from the old town between the walls, and at the same time it was very quiet.

The apartment looked really nice in the pictures but it was disappointing once we got there, it is old and a bit dark. There is no breakfast, but that is ok, there were cafes not too far. The swimming pool is small and mostly in the shade the entire day. I thought it was too expensive for what it offered.

The location is excellent, just out side the city wall 7 mins walk but opposite Getsemani streets. The property is gated with 24 hour security. The young man on the desk was delightful hardly any English but with google translate we got everything we needed. The pool is perfect, in the shade from 2ish when the sun is too hot to go out. Get towels from the desk. The sunset from the roof is better than going to cafe del mar!! The apartment was perfect modern, great aircon. Spacious for 2 of us on the ground floor. We did use kitchen but had everything needed and a fridge. Borrowed a hair dryer and the shower was powerful and hot.

24/7 security at the door which gave us a very safe feeling. The apartement was amazing. It was spacious, clean, unique and the airconditioning was very good (which was needed because Cartagena is quite hot). Also the personnel was very friendly and helped us with all questions.

The kitchen missed some key elements such as enough cutlery, a kitchen towel and some extra plates.

This is a truly beautiful location that allows you to soak in the city and its beautiful architecture. I would describe the stay as a hidden gem and luxury for a lower price. The art by Diego Morales, the gorgeous furniture, the pool, the views - all was so much more than we even expected. You are in easy walking distance of delicious restaurants, lively streets, and historical spots.

The showers were cooler than we expected coming from the United States, but that is understandable.
