Pool is disappointing - not really an area to relax around it and would be much better if it was properly outside Wifi wasn’t reliable Also quoted 90.000 COP for a transfer from the airport by the hotel when you can get a fixed priced from the authorised airport taxis of 24.700

The property exceeded my expectations. For starters the staff were extremely helpful! Andreas was the travel guide that located in the lobby of the hotel. He was great! He helped us plan activities and also gave us recommendations on where to go for the best restaurants he is a gem! The Madisson hotel is lucky to have him on their team! Everything from the staff to the rooms and the breakfast were amazing. The pool and decor were a focal point for us! The location was also perfect. The hotel is located in the city but closer enough to walk to near by beaches and restaurants.

The rooms were nice but needed to be updated.

- Hotel has a nice style and estetically it looks very nice - The room was comfortable and had an AC (which is a big advantage with Cartagena´s climate) - The staff is attentive and nice - Rooms have all necessary appliances - Breakfast is buffet type and it was included in room price

- The elevator broke on the 2nd day of our visit, so the rest of the week we had to use the stairs :( - Some rooms have no view (a view to the wall of another room) - For it´s price I think the hotel can improve the details like the elevator issues, improve a bit a variety of breakfast buffet, the views, etc

Location was great. There were convenience stores, boutiques and restaurants nearby. We felt safe walking around even at night. The staff were great! Very friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers day trips and other activities. Andres at the concierge provides good recommendations. Overall, great stay!

Food is delicious. However, it would have been better if there were more breakfast options. Because there are ongoing construction nearby, there are noises during the day. The pool is large and can be heated, but it takes a long time to do so. We visited during the rainy season so we would have wanted to enjoy the heated pool more.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Madisson Boutique Hotel, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. So much, I had to return --- during a month of work in Cartagena, I stayed here three times! The staff's attentiveness and kindness were beyond compare. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to assist. Throughout my stay, the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, anticipating my needs even before I had to ask. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. From the lobby to my room, everything was immaculate. Finally, the hotel's facilities were excellent --- you could find peace and comfort at the pool or sitting in the lobby. Overall, my stay at Madisson was nothing short of exceptional. Both the hotel and the staff left a lasting impression on me, and I can't wait to return again!

The room was exceptional, however the view from the window was of a brick wall. This wasn't too much of a problem as the hotel itself was a great place to stay.

The view from the window faced a brick wall. There was also a very tall development going up behind the hotel, which is imposing. However, everything else was exceptional and my stay was very comfortable.

I got the master suite and it was just BEYOND. Huge room with dining table, perfect work station, huge and comfy bed. Loved it! The staff is super nice, polite, and helpful. The pool is quite small, but super charming. The location is also very nice because you have tons of restaurants and bars to chose from at a walking distance. Overall, loved it, would come back for sure.

There was no hair dryer on my room. I don’t know if the TV was missing a remote control but I was unable to get Netflix and stuff on it.

the property is exactly as the pictures , well taken care of , it was always clean the rooms were cleaned everyday and supplies replenished daily . staff was very helpful . jimmy was a great help he helped me find very nice spots to eat and see the best things Cartagena had to offer . the pool was always clean , towels were offered nice mirrors excellent property breakfast was served every morning

only thing which wasn’t a big issue , the breakfast was eggs or arepas but fruits and teas and natural juices were available. more options would be nice but still good

The hotel is in quite good location close to the beach and local shops and restaurants even they have their good restaurants inside hotel where you can find delicious food at reasonable prices. Most of staff happy to help

The hotel is situated on the main busy road which may ruin your impression of a resort hotel but it is quiet once you are inside your room

I liked the staff, location the size of the room and bathroom.

The complimentary breakfast needs a lot of improvement, a guest should be able to order more than a 2 egg omelette. Here’s a list of foods they could include. 1. Cereals 2. Bacon 3. Sausage. 4. Egg Benedict. 5. Harsh browns. 6. Pancakes. 7. Cheese scrambled eggs. 8. Baked beans. 9. French toast. 10. Yogurt.
