The staff, especially the folks who helped me call and cancel phone and credit cards after being robbed by a cab driver. The location was perfect, great massage. Loved all the fruit at breakfast but, frankly most of the hot food was bland.

I will never, ever return to Columbia again. I was robbed, the prices are high and outside the tourist areas are filthy, dirty messes. The worst, the never ending vendors are Everywhere, it ruined any enjoyable time I had, even at the beach outside the hotel. I just did some tours then promptly returned to the hotel. Not worth it at all

This was the perfect location! Close to restaurants, convenience stores and the beach. It is always very windy so keep that in mind (the beach is very wavy and short dresses are tough to wear!) The 5th floor pool and 15th floor hot tub were windy and almost never sunny so they were never too crowded and we could always find a spot to sit, but didn’t usually stay for more than an hour. The sheets and towels were refreshed daily, no mildew smell anywhere. Our shower was always hot and AC/fan always worked well. The elevators were very fast and the included breakfast was amazing! A lot of the staff spoke very good English.

Don’t take the airport shuttle you can book through the hotel. Take an uber. It was more than double the uber price then the hotel tried to have us pay an additional fee because the driver had to wait for us. (He showed up early before we messaged him to come)

Loved the location Most. Of the staff especially the lads on the front door were excellent and helpful Lovely pool area. Nice bars.

The serving staff for breakfast especially on the weekend was woefully inadequate. We had to beg several members of staff for coffee one day and it still depended on wether you face fitted if you got some. They did not want to serve you coffee but said you could not go up and help yourself. Not sure why but the pool was closed the whole of Monday morning so people's plans had to change. Never had this problem in other hotels.

I love the friendliness of the staff members and how convenient it was to get a taxi to the airport . I would also like to add a little story …. On my way back to the air port , I left my handbag in the taxi and the value of what was in the bag was work over $4, 000 US dollars and the taxi driver brought the bag back to me while I was waiting in line at the air port . He spoke very little English but through translations of another traveler , she said that the driver said he was 25 mins away when we realized that I left the bag in the car . I was beyond speechless that I left the bag in the car and he brought it back . He offered me to check the bag but I didn’t because he had already gained my trust by bringing it back . I didn’t check the bag till I got home and everything was in the bag . I say this to say that there are good people in this world especially in Colombia!!!

The stairs to the lifts. It is absurd to climb stairs to go to the lifts!! Besides there were no toiletries at the room. Only Shampoo and conditioner, I needed a shower cup and a needle. If it really were a 5* it should offer more benefits at the room. No bathrooms at the beach

- spacious junior suite - proper climate control - towel service and staff ( both english and spanish ) - safe area, many restaurants

- the pool picture is a real catfish, its small for the amount of rooms. we always had space for sunbathing but when the hotel is crowded you will strugle. - hotel can use an update, i think 25 years ago it was fancy but doesnt fit current standards anymore.

All the staff are polite, friendly and helpful. There is live music at night, on weekends in the hotel restaurant. There is a tourist office where they offer the best tours to get to know Cartagena. The breakfast is very good and varied.

The pool and jacuzzi are small. The room rates are a bit high. The windows on the outside of the building are very dirty and need to be cleaned.

It’s on the beach only about 10 mins by uber from the Old Town, boat harbour and other tourist spots. The staff were friendly and many spoke good English. Security was very good and the neighbourhood has many restaurants and is fairly safe

It’s not the newest of hotels but it’s not in disrepair however a few bits and pieces could use a tidy up

Excellent location the beach is right there. Beautiful hotel and kept very clean. Every single staff member were friendly and helpful. Our room had a lovely view of the beach. The shower had hot water and a big bath. The breakfast spread was huge and lots of selection.

No complaints. Check out was quick.

The location is great and the hotel.has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. I particularly highlight the great attitude of the staff, who really made us feel so welcomed.

I cannot say the value for money balance is ideal, as the hotel is a tad old, the social areas are small and the level 15 area is still under renovations.
