Nice new hotel/hostel, with very small yet very functional rooms, including a kitchenette with pans, dishes and all that's needed to cook yourself a meal! I bought some to-go food, and eat it for two days, so that was useful. They were still finishing a lot of details all over the common areas, and they have a nice rooftop area, but no furniture, but I can see that in a year or so from now, that hostel/hotel will be a nice place to go! The area around it is also nice and safe, plenty of food options nearby

A number of areas were still under construction, buckets of paint, tools, people drilling and hammering all over the ground level floor. The rooms were quiet though.

Hotel Indie was extremely convenient for its location, and the hassle free booking and check-in. The staff spoke English, which was extremely helpful. The room was very clean, had sufficient towels and bed linen and a kitchenette with fridge, plates, cutlery, etc. Breakfast was provided if you chose this option, and a space to work from, if needed. You could hear very minimal outside noise during the night, which was great to catch some rest!

There isn’t anything I can say negatively. It is an easy, friendly and convenient place to stay. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this isn’t for you. It is very basic. However, provides all the needs and is very comfortable for a short stay.

Good location near to restaurants and parks of Laureles, and it felt very safe. Checkin and checkout were both easy and the staff spoke good English. The hotel is very modern and the room was comfortable - we’re not digital nomads but it seems that’s who this place is for! Nonetheless we were comfortable here. We booked an airport taxi through the hotel which we were told could be paid by card (it was our last day in Colombia so didn’t want to withdraw any more cash). However when the driver arrived he said it had to be paid cash - not the staffs fault (although it should have been made clear to the driver) but Jose at reception used his own cash to pay the driver and I transferred him the money, which I don’t think everyone would have done. This was so helpful and we really appreciated it!

The layout of the room felt a bit like it was meant for one (rather than two sharing) as the bed was against the wall when it could easily go in the centre of the room. When we arrived, there were no towels in the room - I raised this with reception and they just brought one up, and I had to ask for another later (they had ran out apparantly). Small point but towels are an absolute basic, and would have been a pain had we wanted to shower on arrival. Not something the hotel can change really but having stayed in Poblado, Laureles doesn’t have as much to offer for tourists. If you are here to sightsee, you’ll likely end up travelling to Poblado to do it!

I liked the lobby I think that was the best part of the hotel there's a lot of coworking space and the breakfast selection was decent and the staff was super friendly. The location is great there are so many coffee shops and restaurants within steps away it's also easy for Uber and taxi to find the hotel. The rooms were clean.

The rooms were very small and it didn't leave much room for your suitcase or anything else to really be in there. The room has no air condition and there's no window in the bathroom so in a three bedroom when you're sharing with people it can get a little stuffy it did come with a fan. They also did not provide towels when we checked in we had to request them and they did not provide extra toilet paper there was three of us staying in the room so one roll of toilet paper wasn't enough

The breakfast was really nice and the room was perfect. I actually stayed here a few times in different rooms, due to me going to Santa Marta and back. Each room was clean and perfectly equipped. Nice views of the mountains and the location of the hotel itself was perfect, close to plenty of stores, laundry and restaurants. The staff were super friendly and helpful! Would 100000% stay again.

I noticed there was no warm/hot water at the bathroom sink in each room, it wasn't just isolated to a single room, not sure if that was normal, typically it isn't. But apart from that, everything was perfect.

We booked the presidential suite as we wanted the use of a kitchen, it was well equipped and they provided cleaning products. Comfy bed, use of exercise equipment and there was even a projector and screen to watch a movie in bed in the evenings. Location was great, a few minutes walk to local supermarkets, 10mins walk to a street full of restaurants. Felt very safe, staff friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities for small additional fee down in the basement.

Sometimes the hot water wasn't very hot, bathroom was a little cramped. Breakfast was basic but filled you up.

Function is beauty. This place was really curated and thought out. Everything in place. A tiny room that is perfect. It had everything you needed. Modular in design. You can actually rotate the bed into a couch. Super cool! I liked having free boiled water from the cafe. The manager julian was super hospitable and helping.

I would have liked to see the reception more informative and enthusiastic to help. With guidlines and answers. I didnt get all my simple questions met. The girl at the desk maneucuring her nails were more important than me. The guys were cool and helpful!!

This is a unique space in a great neighborhood of Medellin. I stayed for 8 nights with my girlfriend and we enjoyed the included breakfast, the attentive staff, and the easy access to many of the city's restaurants and nightlife. Very affordable as well.

Not a major issue but we were denied new sheets and towels when we asked for them after a few days at the hotel. Just remember that the staff will only come to clean the room once every few days and NOT everyday. Again, it was not a big deal but it should be mentioned for those staying longer than a few nights.

The place has a neo-modern aesthetic. Wifi is good and the room was small, but enough for a solo traveller. Well ventilated and supplied good amenities within the space provided. It's a safe area, which was important as a solo female traveler. The room was clean and tidy. An enjoyable stay for someone who will be in and out all day. Breakfast is provided, however, minimal options.

Very little English spoken, so if you cannot speak Spanish you'll need to prepare accordingly! In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was loose, just needs to be fitted tighter. Breakfast is provided, as mentioned earlier, however the options are minimal (eggs, bread, butter, omelette, various fruits, juice). There are a few places around for breakfast but not many.

Fantastic place for a solo traveller. Great to have a little studio apartment with cooking facilities and fridge. It has been so well designed and fitted out with furniture designed to accommodate multiple functional spaces. Great to have access to a co working space and cafe. They also provide a good breakfast.

The puppy yoga was a bit underwhelming. I would adopt a yoga exchange. Yoga class in exchange for a nights accommodation. There are so many yoga instructors travelling currently. That way you would get a great variety of instructors.
