The hotel was small but very nice and the staff was excellent, especially Eddy who I have met before at another hotel in Medellin on a previous trip years ago. The breakfast was good. I don’t usually like eggs all that much, but they were prepared so nicely, I had two helpings. The room was small, but I didn’t need more than that we were only staying one night. I chose that particular room because of price. The neighborhood was excellent with lots of places to eat and quiet and safe where you could walk.

They need to put spare toilet tissue in the bathroom, it’s a little embarrassing to go and ask for it.

Very professional and helpful staff, both at the front desk and in the dining area. We had to leave at 4am and the staff was there to check us out and even arranged our transportation to the airport. Much appreciated! The breakfast staff were also very welcoming and friendly...they mada a coffee and arepa a fun and memorable experience!

Upon arrival, our reservation seemed to be a bit of a surprise. We had to provide all the personal data they should have already had on file. Not a big issue, however...just unexpected. The room was odd...not a single window, which made it feel a bit claustrophobic. The shower was great, water-wise, but the floor was EXTREMELY slippery when wet and the only 'support' was half of a glass partition between the shower and sink area. This was a concern; my husband and I (both 70+) are healthy and mobile, but a slip in the shower could have been diastrous. A towel on the floor helped, but it still did not feel very safe.

The hotel is well located and spacious. Staff was friendly and the common areas were well lit and clean.

The room they offered us didn't have any windows, hence it smelled of moist and it was completely dark once the lights were off. We had to leave the AC running so that the smell would partially go away.

This hotel was located in a really nice area! There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the metro station was about 20 minutes away. I felt pretty safe walking around here. The staff was also very kind. My room came with a free breakfast which consisted of fruit, eggs, meat, bread, and coffee.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but I was only there for a few nights so it wasn’t too big of a deal. I also wish it was a little closer to the metro station.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean room and breakfast available in the morning. Was able to check in late at night which was useful as we had to leave another airbnb late at night.

There was no door on the shower which meant that the water went all over the floor when showering.

Best location in Medellin, staff were really kind, great breakfast, beautiful view and neighborhood.

Shampoo, conditioner and soap bottles were empty, if the hotel doesn’t want to offer these products they should remove the bottles to prevent customer feeling disappointed. Setting right expectations always.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and willing to go above and beyond to please and help. The restaurant ladies were amazing , the breakfast offered a variety of fruit, juices and Colombian style breakfast. It was a cultural learning experience. Thank you!

I liked everything. My room had no windows, but I still felt comfortable. The room was spotless.

The Hotel was very clean nice room with a view to the street,we walk very much there in the neighbour daylight and nighttime no danger everybody very friendly .Frontdesk and the workers very nice people treat us very kind.Get our breakfast serve everymorning with Alejandro ,nothing to complain,come and make your reservation and see for yourself.We will definitely come back to Hotel Asturias again.

We didn't like the smell of the bathroom. The room was too close to the reception, and it was a little bit noisy
