Magnificent view from the room, great location, close to the restaurants, National Park and supermarket. Complimentary breakfast is good. Stuff is very friendly. The pool and Jacuzzi is great, there is a bar right there to get a drink. Rooms are very spacious and clean.

We were during the May, low season not too many people, and one day they forgot to open for breakfast, but after we reminded them that we are still here, they prepared it for us.

The food and beverage staff were exceptional. Kendall and his wife Jackie were amazing and such lovely people. Kendall was a wonderful chef and made delicious meals. Sadie made killer omelets and kindly showed us how to make tortillas. It is something I will always remember. Your restaurant staff are so friendly and compassionate and so eager to please us. I have found that these are qualities most Costa Ricans have.

Great view of Arenal volcano from rooms and pool area. Pretty gardens, nice pools and jacuzzi. There’s a huge souvenir shop on the property, breakfast offered was standard but good. Staff were friendly. Reception is not 24 hours but they are around till 10. Walkable to near by restaurants and shops. This is true for a lot of hotels we stayed in, included breakfast starts at 7, when most of the tours pick-up. Having it start just 30 mins earlier would allow those with an early tour time to take breakfast. They did offer packed breakfast instead which was great.

The Wi-Fi was spotty.

The hotel was a little north of town which was great because it wasn’t busy. An easy walk into the smaller town or drive to La Fortuna (about 2.5 miles). The staff was so friendly and answered all of our many questions. They also arranged our tours and excursions from the hotel. The breakfast included was simple but fresh and delicious. The arenal volcano is literally right in front of the property and a beautiful backdrop for pictures.

We liked the proximity to town and also to the highway to see all the attractions. Last and not least loved the amazing view of Arenal!

The only area for immediate improvement would be the access to the swimming pool. Should be direct access without having to go through the restaurant. Also a little Las Vegas looking when you drive in bc there is a massive souvenir store w many bright lights. Takes away from the cozy villas it hides in the back

The room was perfect. With two beds. But first at all they wanted to give us a room just with one bed and to the road / parcing side. We finally had one further away which was quiet and comfortable. The pool is just accessible via the restaurant which is a bit strange but in the evening it was no issue. At the entrance there is first a huge souvenir and tours shop, but this does not disturb the quiet rooms in the back of it. The breakfast was okay.

The breakfast and view was amazing. The Hotel is very well situated near the town and all the main attractions. The souvenir shop a bit expensive, but has a wide variety.

The weather unfortunately was little rainy and they advertise a jacuzzi and did not have it on or very low, when i consulted a member of the staff i was informed that not all guest like it on, but what about the ones that do? I thought it was a quick don't ask anymore response.

The location is amazing views of arenal volcano. The overall hotel landscape is veryy pretty. Rooms are very nice and clean and updated. Breakfast was not the best but it was pretty good for the cost of the room and did its job.

Maybe more fresh fruits in breakfast since costa rica has so many fruits.

The restaurant and bar staff were excellent, especially Esteban. Having a variety of pools and hot tubs was nice, especially when it rained and one of them was under a roof. The breakfast was great and all the staff were very friendly. We really liked having the lounge chairs outside our rooms.

The hotel was located at the edge of town and within walking distance of a couple restaurants. The rooms were very clean, beds were hard but surprisingly comfortable, and most of the staff was excellent. View of the volcano was lovely when the clouds actually cleared. Beautiful fresh fruit with breakfast but choices are limited. I’m not complaining though because I was quite happy with it. We had an early excursion one day and they had our breakfast ready for us to take out at 6:45 (45 minutes before the restaurant opens) which was very nice. There is a lovely covered sitting area outside of each room. Overall a good hotel for the price.

There is no sound proofing between rooms; even with earplugs we could hear the neighbours. The pillows are pretty lumpy and small but we had the same type of thing at the bigger resort we stayed at in Guanacaste. Some areas of the walkway are very slippery when wet. The 1st night we were there the hot tub was actually hot. The next couple of days it was cool, then lukewarm, then warm. I think they fixed it by the time we were leaving on day 4.
