Beautiful property with exceptional views of Arenal Volcano from the breakfast area and the main hot-spring-fed pool. The thermal pools were a real treat, particularly after a long day of hiking and exploring. The staff and management were wonderful and very helpful. As others have noted, the location is marked from the main road but set back in a way that makes it feel particularly peaceful. It is convenient to both La Fortuna town center and many popular activities, although you may want to rent a car as the distances are not easily walkable and Uber is totally unreliable.

The grounds are absolutely lovely. Having the hot springs right on property, with a view of Arenal - outstanding. Lovely breakfast, lovely staff. The rooms were a lot nicer than shown in the photos when we booked - they have now been updated to reflect the changes that have been made. Spotlessly clean.

The property is a little isolated, but there is a great restaurant Bongo's within easy walking distance. This may not suit everyone. Also - be prepared for the peacocks waking you up at 2.30am!

the location is great if you have a rental car…it’s about 5-10 minutes out of La Fortuna on the way to the national forest and mysticism bridges. when you first drive in you don’t feel overly confident because it’s a gravel road leading to a working farm but when you get to the hotel it is incredible! a beautiful oasis with birds and natural hot springs…the staff are so kind and helpful…and the breakfasts are great!

when we first arrived at the property the room had a slightly septic smell to it but that was gone quickly after opening the windows for a couple of hours

lovely location with volcano views ;) Alber (owner) is extremely kind and helpful! helped us to book restaurants and also added mosquito net to the window as I’m allergic to aircon so we needed opened windows. very nice hot springs - super clean and not crowded at all! Alber regularly (almost daily if not daily) empties / refills those very nice grounds with lots of birds and peacocks ;)

nothing really. it’s not a 5*, but they are not claiming to be ;) everything else they try to do for you!

Breakfast was very good. Fresh local fruit and orange juice each morning. We had our choice of three personally prepared breakfasts. I asked for eggs over easy one morning and Lidia cooked them perfectly. The location right up against the jungle was fantastic and we loved watching the numerous exotic birds eating the wild miniature bananas just a few feet away from our outdoor space.

A place to gang or put some clithes.

the setting was stunning ! when the clouds cleared you could see the volcano from the thermal pool and breakfast area. the gardens were stunning with peacocks wondering around !

Lydia has just recently acquired the place and is doing her best to make it a great place - it was nice to see her making lots of improvements such as repairing one of the thermal pools. she is open to ideas so keep making them to her.

Awesome location with private hot pools surrounded from pure nature. Lydia did a great job and prepared everyday a fresh and great portion of breakfast. We also liked the large room and the stable WiFi. Free parking on site

Lydias help for the Liberty Simcard was more than great. Thank you again. The Room with aircon was big and a good shower. Also the fridge was good. TV big, WE don' t need. The breakfast was also good. The three Pools were amazing. From one Pool you have a good view to the arenal Vulcan, but Always in Clouds. All Pools are with thermal water, ca. 37° .

Amazing views, beautiful place, Place is nice, with 3 small pools!

There is a bar not far from the place where if you are in the pools you can hear the music at night, but once in the room the noise goes away

it was full of wild life. pools were fed by hot springs. Quiet for sleeping. parking available and easy to access. The staff were so friendly and always wanting to make our stay welcome. Bed was comfortable.

the room was a comfortable size but lacked furniture for storage of clothing.
