We enjoyed our stay very much! The absolute best part is the staff, they are so great and will do their best to accommodate anything we wanted or needed and answered our questions. The restaurant was very good; the breakfast buffet was phenomenal and fueled all of us well for the day, including the teenage boys. We liked the pool; we were a group of 6 and we were in the villa which was so private and lovely. The only outside sounds we heard were the birds…they can be very loud!! The only downside was that it’s a ways from town so we had to take an uber to go anywhere. There aren’t any walking trails close by either which we missed. All the tours did pick up here so that was great. Overall it’s a great place to stay to see the sights in Fortuna. Thanks to everyone!

The breakfast was included and it was amazing. Every morning we looked forward to their hearty breakfasts. My favorite was the fried plantains. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurants and it did not disappoint. We had the most amazing view of the Arenal Volcano from our room. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. One of the grounds keepers even showed me and my son a family of cool owls he had spotted in a tree.

WiFi was not great. Quite spotty all week. Our toilet had a few issues with continuing to run unless we jiggled the handle. But it wasn’t enough of an issue so we just told the staff as we were checking out.

My fiancé and I love the hotel facilities, the excellent customer service. The food was delicious and the room very clean. The location is strategic near restaurants, in an intermediate point between the waterfall, places to do extreme sports, hot springs and the Arenal Lagoon. 100% recommended. Thank you to the team for organizing together with my fiancé our beautiful marriage proposal, we love it and it will be a memory that we keep forever in our hearts!!

Enjoyed the location - just outside of La Fortuna so we were able to enjoy access to restaurants, etc. but also good access to Mistico Park and other attractions near Arenal volcano. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which was adjacent to the tree with lots of wildlife and felt very secluded. A smaller resort that was not necessarily fancy but very comfortable and the staff was very helpful!

Our villa had a stackable washer and dryer which were not working properly and unfortunately we did not figure that out prior to starting a load of laundry, however the staff came through and dried our clothes in their commercial units and even folded them for our use that evening.

The breakfast buffet was good each monring. The view of the volcano is hard to beat when the clouds part. It is easy to get to and close enough to Frontera and the spas to get there in just a few minutes.

The families only complaint is the room is too Spartan. With 2 beds, a dresser and a single bed side table, there was nowhere to sit but on the patio. The patio is nice and roomy but something inside would have been nice and there was plenty of room for a chair or two. There was also nothing to hang wet clothes on, which during the rainy seaon is a real need.

The view from the hotel was amazing, the room was clean, and I loved the rustic look. The rooms are separated from each other so you really get privacy. The room was quite big and very clean. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. Loved they had free room service from the restaurant, the arugula and prosciutto pizza was incredible. The breakfast was also very good. We arrived late at the property, and they accommodated someone to check us in. All the staff was lovely and accommodating. It is a 10min drive from downtown and close to all attractions.

The staff were exceptional. We got in and were told breakfast and checkout times. We said we had an early (6:30am) ticket for Mistico and wouldn't make 7am breakfast. The woman at the front said, "come back at 7pm, and we'll have a breakfast to go box for you." I was blown away by their efforts to accommodate us. We had dinner next door and sure enough, by 7pm the boxes were ready for us. They had a sandwich, papaya, pineapple, a juice box, and dessert type of bar. Everything was wrapped up and ready to go. We put them in our refrigerator in the room. It came in very handy for our morning adventure.

The rooms were a bit small, but honestly, we didn't need anything fancy. I would totally stay here again.

The property overall was a nice and comfortable. The trees and flowers were beautiful and well maintained. The food was buffet style and there were a good amount of options to choose from. Definitely above average breakfast. The pool area was nice with a jacuzzi. The room are individual huts that were nice.

The wifi barely worked on this property. Also the jacuzzi was cold when we went to use it. I asked if they could turn the heat on and they said they would, but never turned it on. The room had a lot of ants in it. The ants got on our clothes.

Breakfast was a delicious buffet and had a lot of choices. We also ate lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious as well. The grounds are beautiful and each room is its own individual cabin. Your room key turns on the power so when you leave and take your key with you the power goes off (except for the mini fridge) so this is a great energy saving design! We would definitely stay here again!

Maybe only one thing - it is on the main road which had the advantage of being easy accessible but as well it is not in the nature. I would not say I did not like this but more than i did not expect it Not a lot of room for storage in the rooms - although there is a sort of kitchen niche which not sure how much is used actually - as there is no way to really cook and the breakfast is included The air conditioning was excellent
