Facilities was very nice. Having a wide variety of pools available was exceptional

Within the documents of rules and procedures, it was difficult to see the true customer service aspect. It was overwhelming with rules where extra costs would be added. It was like the intent was to shake down all customers down for more money whenever possible. The coffee shop does not open until 0800. For early risers, this does not work well. There is nothing outside the facilities within walking distance. We did not enjoy the Buffett for the cost. The items offered, are the cheapest options for a Buffett for the cost. It is evident the owners are only interested in making money vs having a good customer experience.

Beautiful location very tropical with beautiful landscaping and view of the volcano . We had 2 rooms reserved but due to a family emergency we only needed one room but since we could not get a rebate for the second room that we already paid for the manager agreed to upgrade our one room to a suite and it was much appreciated.

There were a lot of people using the property for the hot springs, it looked like many bus loads of people came in for the day and it a kind of seemed like a theme park atmosphere.

This place is beautiful. It’s a vast property with so many different hot spring pools. The property is beautiful and lush and right in the middle of a rainforest and town. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very good. The room was very large and clean.

The only thing we didn’t like was that the property sells a lot of day passes for people to come enjoy the hot springs. This is common in this area with other hotels but there would be buses dropping off tons of teenagers/people and it really took away from the ambience for hotel guests. The breakfast was fantastic but the rest of the food is just okay.

Waterfalls and hot springs everywhere. It was amazing. Slides for the kids.

Food was okay. Fresh fruit was amazing. The slides were extreme and some of them pretty dangerous and you could actually get hurt on them. My biggest complaint would be they sell day passes for people outside the resort and it floods the hot springs with hundreds of people. On Sunday over 800 were there a total zoo. When they all leave it’s peaceful and nice. So we mostly played outside the resort during the day and hit the hot springs at night.

Food was good, Staff were very responsive and accommodating. Beautiful property!

Great for kids however strange that they do not offer a cribs service in your room. While it is very child oriented. It got very busy with just day visits what was less nice but they have many pools to choose from so in the end it did not spoiled our stay.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, adding authenticity to the experience. The natural geothermal waters are therapeutic and soothing, melting away stress and leaving a sense of tranquility. The grounds are beautifully maintained, blending with the surroundings. Private soaking tubs offer seclusion, and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The rooms are slightly outdated, and the scenery from the room didn't meet my expectations. With some room improvements, Baldy Hot Springs has the potential to enhance the overall guest experience.

Lovely property and great facilities on site. Although it was high season, the hot springs were relatively quiet and relaxing. There were lots of different pools to use (plus super speedy water slides in one of the areas to keep us entertained). We were slightly worried about eating there due to some previous reviews, but I had the caramelised onion pizza for dinner and it was delicious. There was a great choice of food for the breakfast included and it was also very nice. Was a great stay for a night to make the most of the springs and we were allowed to use the facilities all day on the days we checked in/out.

The hot springs were wonderful. Great location for going on excursions and easy to get in to La Fortuna. Rooms were big, comfortable and air conditioned. Breakfasts had a lot of choice, which varied day to day. The fresh fruit was delicious. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

They are too fresh and charge for everything! water and even a simple cappuccino in the breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet lacked adult cereals only kids cereals. Not even simple Oatmeal, when asked they say no they have none. No alternatives for milk, had to ask for soya but only had almond milk. Dinner Buffet not great for the cost. Getting thru their phones is almost impossible.
