Loved the view and the very unusual bathroom waterfall shower. The pool had a great view too. We enjoyed the breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. It's set in absolutely beautiful gardens which are amazing, Luckily the room had good A/C.

Rooms are adequate but not exactly luxuriously furnished. It would be good to have some dim bedside lights not just overhead lights. Also the property is very spread out, which is nice, but does mean our room was 5-10 mins walk from the pool/lobby/restaurant/car park area (uphill one way).

The receptionist was great. She helped us book a day of horseback Riding and it was perfect! The housekeeping seem to know when we left and came to clean while we out without any additional prompting.(one day we were only gone 3 hours). The view was of the arneal volcano. No words for waking up and see such a sight!! Anytime walking through the property. Birds could be spotted enjoying the beautiful landscape of flowers and fruit trees!

Our room/villa was in the back (324). The Wi-Fi was not good. We often had to go to the bar or up front to get better service. If you need wifi request a closer room to the central area.

We had a great two room suite with a very nice view of the Arenal Volcano. We also had a private pool. The room and pool were both kept very clean by the staff. Each room had their own bathroom with very nice large walk in showers. There was a kitchenette area with a fridge and cappuccino maker. The beds were comfortable however very firm. There was also a very nice buffet style breakfast, with eggs made to order, provided every day. The staff was very attentive, and the bartender, Luis, was very friendly and helpful. He definitely made our evening dinners at the bar fun and enjoyable!

A microwave in the kitchenette would have been nice. Also there was a cappuccino maker but no way to make regular drip coffee in our room. Although I'm sure the staff would have accommodated us if we had asked but we just had our coffee with the breakfast at the restaurant.

This is a gorgeous property! There is an amazing view of Arenal, the restaurant area is beautiful, the pool and pool bar are an amazing touch, and the rooms are so spacious and clean. It’s definitely more on the modest side but the staff takes such great care of the property so you’ll see fruit trees and tons of plants and flowers as you walk around.

The only thing that was a little inconvenient is that they don’t offer bottled water for free but you can refill a bottle with tap water at the restaurant. We also couldn’t exchange money because they don’t really offer that service so we had to go to the bank a couple of times during our stay.

Very friendly staff, the property was beautiful with various flower and fruit plants. Golf cart was available on demand to move inside the property. You need it if you have lot of luggage or else you can easily roam around. They have a nice pool that has a bar and fast food. Bathrooms are huge and artistic.

Dinner menu in the restaurant was expensive and not that great. Breakfast (included with the price) could have been better.

The hotel is beautiful and is located perfectly to see arenal volcano when it’s not cloudy. It is a little bit out of the town so you need to drive or get taxis if going out for food etc but this is very easy. The staff are so friendly and helpful and all the wildlife that you can see just outside the room is amazing.

I would suggest a fridge in the room for guests and also I think the rooms could be updated as the decor is a bit old.

Location and view are amazing, and the service is fabulous.

I have just a few suggestions: install lights along the pathways for nighttime and add house number signs to make them easier to find; otherwise, people might get lost. For breakfast, add a bit more seasonal fruit and juices since we’re in Costa Rica, and there's no shortage of good options!

Great view of the volcano. Very natural setting with a frog pond at the back of the property. Close to town but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. I saw Toucans and other birds on the property. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The waterfall shower in my room and jacuzzi tub on the private patio was awesome.

Breakfast was okay but for such a nice resort I expected higher quality. The lunch/bar menu was good but dinner was overpriced and not great. I recommend having a car so you can eat out.

Located just minutes outside of the hustle and bustle but still close to town. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Rooms are large with very comfortable beds. Bathroom is huge. Private patio is screened from neighbors with vegetation. Restaurant is delicious and breakfast was excellent. Pool was fun but relaxing and the staff was fantastic!

My only suggestion for the property is to add storage in the rooms. A dresser with drawers, hooks on walls for clothing or towels, etc. There is no counter space in the enormous bathroom. We still enjoyed every minute here but our belongings were a bit unorganized.

rooms were huge and beds were comfortable. breakfast buffet - same thing every day but a few options to chose from so you could mix it up slightly. surroundings were all lovely too.

we had to take a taxi into town which was around 10-12 mins which was fine, but when we asked reception to order us a taxi we were told ok and it’ll be 15 mins so waited and after 15 mins they said they haven’t got us a taxi and we need to wait another 20 mins. lack of comms here which was a little annoying. you can get Uber’s though, sometimes difficult to get and other times super easy. the hotel i would say is on the more expensive side when eating and drinking there and the food / drinks were fine. not great but not awful.
