The room was nice, spacious, tidy, the bed super comfy, we had a very basic fridge, a coffee maker machine and some coffee to our disposal. The gardens of the property are super nice, the pool is the best feature, go early in the afternoon bc it gets filled up quickly. It's also great that there is a bathroom close to the pool and a very large garden space.

The breakfast was beyond poor, it was some not very well done eggs, 1 toast, a piece of cheese and some fruit. Not even gallo pinto. For me, as I eat plant based, I could only have the tiny tiny piece of watermelon they gave me and the dry toast. My partner ate the eggs and he didn't like them. We had to go out to have breakfast the remaining days, it was so sad because we have chosen this place farther from the town bc we wouldn't have to go to town each day to eat.. It's not that far, it's a 15 min drive but it tires you out when you have to go there 3 times a day for food.

The property is really well-maintained and has amazing views of the Arenal Volcano. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with in-unit AC and a parking spot nearby. The pool was a great way to cool off at the end of a hot day. Breakfast was great. Most importantly, the staff were some of the friendliest, kindest, hard-working people we have met during our travels. I would highly recommend Confort Arenal to anyone who is considering a trip to the Arenal area.

The front desk reception woman (possibly the owner as she was always there) was very friendly and helpful ie she provided us with a hairdryer as one was not in the room; she cooked breakfast for us when we arrived late (we thought breakfast was until 10am) The pool was lovely! I enjoyed the walk path and 'hanging bridge' that we had to cross while walking to breakfast from our room. Liked having a table with chairs on our front patio area facing the volcano. The property was easy to find from the main road - large sign and lights - which was very helpful when coming back from dinner at night. Great location; close to thermal spas and not too far from town. We had a rental car so not an issue to go anywhere.

Breakfast was simple but adequate - individual plates scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, plantain brought to each guest vs a buffet set up. Had some issues with Wifi connectivity which was a bit of a problem since my husband was working remotely.

A hidden gem, great value! Rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable! The property was very well kept, and you can’t see much until you reach your bungalow. They have a cute gazebo with their own hanging bridge to get to reception area/breakfast area (which was delicious and included!). The pool area was beautifully kept. All rooms have exceptional views of Arenal Volcano and it’s centrally located to many activities but far enough away from the busy tourist area of La Fortuna. Would recommend for all the above reasons as well as great rates! Would come back again 👍

Hot water was sometimes too hot in the room but it just takes time to adjust.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, rooms look over the volcano, animals running around, pool was cool and relaxing. The staff was extra nice and breakfast was good. The beds were not very comfortable for us. They don't clean the rooms every day. The location is outside fortuna about a 10 minute drive. In retrospect we would have booked a hotel closer to the center.

The staff was very friendly and helpful beyond their normal hotel services. There was a big roof overhang at the front door and a table on the patio. That allowed my sister and I to sit outside when raining. The gardens are beautiful and there’s a stream that runs through the property. Breakfast was delicious.

The road out front is not safe for walking. There’s a restaurant nearby, but we felt safer to drive there. That’s not the fault of the hotel, but feel this information may be helpful to those who arrive by bus.

It’s quite lovely on the grounds and the hanging bridge across the stream is very fun. The breakfast is very good!

You need a car or to make arrangements to drive to restaurants for dinner. In our room with two queen beds, one was very comfortable, but the other was quite old and uncomfortable and the rumpled sheets had probably been on it a long time. The lighting was unacceptable—it was not possible to read at night or to see well in the mirror in the bathroom.

Really pretty location. Loved our stay here. The room was great and comfortable. Location would not be good if you don’t have your own car because you are not in La Fortuna but for us we had a car it was perfect and we loved the area and fun to have a cool view of the volcano. Clise drive into town for dinner. Breakfast was great—a typical Costa Rican breakfast served in a pretty environment that you access by crossing a bridge. We loved our stay here—you will too

Lovely hot showers. Fantastically maintained garden and pool and pool area. Novelty hanging bridge (fish in the river and fireflies at night). Would have had an amazing view of the volcano if the weather was better for our stay. Decent home cooked breakfast (local restaurant level). Great value for money.

You have to have your own car as it is outside of town and therefore limited food options in walking distance. But if you have a car, that's no issue.

Location with spectacular view of the Arenal volcano and lovely grounds area and pool. A nice pathway from the cabins to the breakfast/reception area with a small hanging bridge over a stream surrounded by lush plants. We saw many varieties of birds, Tucan, La Pava (Crested Guan), hummingbird s galore, Laughing Falcon and many more. Anthony and Eisel along with the rest of the personnel were very kind and accommodating. They serve a delicious breakfast offered every morning with fresh fruit and traditional rice, beans eggs, cheese, toast etc. Rooms are clean and beds are relatively comfortable although a bit on the firm side for me. After a full day of activity I had no trouble sleeping. Anthony was helpful with setting up our transportation to and from LAFortuna and to various destinations. Use of a translator app was very helpful to communicate with everyone.

I would have preferred a softer bed. Closer attention to the # of people in the room because we only had set up for 2 people instead of 3. This would not have been an issue if we realized it earlier before the reception area was closed. Just a minor inconvenience.
