Tje property is more beautuful than the photos. The breakfast was delicious. The smoothies on demand. The pool was so fresh, the rooms soo clean, you could eat of the floor. Indoor and outdoor shower were awesome. Hot water showers. Comfy beds abd high quality sheets and pillows. The fridge had cold drinks waiting for us, that really was the best touch just arriving after a long flight. The staff are incredibly sweet and generous. We would definitely come back!! And they let the chickens out to roam which was a very nice touch:) just 15 minutes from the airport and you feel like you're in the jungle.

This is an exceptionally beautiful and tranquil property so close to the city and airport. Rooms are huge and have both an indoor and outdoor shower, the latter being a real treat for those aren't lucky enough to have one at home. The owner lives on site and is very attentive to guests and the staff are super nice and very efficient. I loved that the owner was willing to let me park my truck here for a few days at a very reasonable fee. This is an option that greatly facilitates travel for those flying to and from SJO. I could be confident my vehicle was completely safe and could easily grab an uber back and forth to the airport (or anywhere in the city for that matter).

Food quality is good - particularly the Aztec soup!! The offerings are quite basic though and could be amped up pretty easily to shift the dining experience from good/basic to excellent. This is not really a complaint but rather just a suggestion on the ONLY element I could think of to improve.

Spacious comfortable room with indoor and outdoor shower. Lovely garden, pool and dining area with breakfast, lunch and dinner available. Great welcome and staff. Excellent for airport transfer, and when our flight was delayed we were made welcome to stay and use facilities after check out time.

Being on the flight path didn’t particularly disturb us, but the noise from the racing track nearby is very wearing and disturbs the tranquillity of the pool and gardens.

It was an excellent choice for my last night before leaving Costa Rica via SJO. The hotel is so nice, peaceful and green, I enjoyed the garden and the pool so much and didn‘t even feel like going anywhere else on that day. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with indoor and outdoor shower and large terrace. Very friendly staff! I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel.

Very peaceful spot close to the airport. It was a wonderful place for my family to wind down our vacation. Breakfast was the best of our vacation. The pool is clean. The grounds are nicely landscaped with a lot of birds. Comfy beds.

The screen door was ripped so would let in mosquitoes and the shower didn't drain well. Easy things to fix, and very minor. I would happily stay again.

The place is a pretty piece of Costa Rican nature, regardless it is technically in the town. You feel like staying in a botanical garden, but with all comfort you need. Friendly staff, very helpful. If you want to see something different than typical hotel network - this is your choice.

Getting there by car (our first time drive in Costa Rica) was challenging, but all San Jose area is like that. The place in fact is more in the suburbs of the town. Uber drivers know the place well, no problem.

This is a beautiful place to spend the last afternoon/evening before a flight the next morning. Refreshing pool in a garden setting, and only four bungalows means lots of personal service. Two double beds, large bathroom with an outdoor shower, and A/C was all we needed. There is a fridge, no kitchenette, but basic dinner (sandwiches, pasta, burgers, etc) is available onsite. It took us 25 minutes to the airport in morning traffic.

It is tucked away in a small town, not much else around. Furniture is basic and shows some wear and tear.

Beautiful room right next to the pool. We slept very well. The pool was very refreshing and our children enjoyed playing in the lush garden. We were pleasantly surprised about the quality of the breakfast, it was delicious! Very friendly staff. Super cute and well-behaved dog. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to relax before heading in/out of Costa Rica. Infinity pool and beach beds gave a relaxing atmosphere. Had one of the staff explain some off the trees, animals and fruits that were on the property. Got some help when we accidentally left our chocolat souvenirs in the frigde. Liked the option of having an outdoor shower.

We stayed for one night after our flight to San Jose. We were absolutely surprised by the beauty of the place. The garden is so beautiful and the pool very refreshing. We saw hummingbirds, a huge catterpillar, squirrels, birds. We had a simple but delicious fresh cooked dinner. Breakfast was also delicious. Bertus the owner gave us some good tips. We would definitely recommend this beautiful place!
