It’s absolutely amazing This place has a genuine quality to it and stands out with the great easy but top professional atmosphere. Interior design of the apartment I was staying in recalls set design of some Wild West movie of the 70ties in the best way and is a treat in itself- to the point that it’s hard to leave - beautiful thoughtfully crafted space - a gem Atmosphere is easy and makes me want to come back and explore the magic of Monteverde Last but not least- this great place feels Costa Rican (contrary to American colonisation that I am unfortunately experiencing now in Tabacon - I would have stayed longer in Monteverde if I knew ..) Hope to come back shortly

Extremely friendly guy at front desk. Gave lots of advice and helped book tour but at no time was pushy. In told us we might want to skip a night jungle tour since we did one in another town. Breakfast was good - eggs/pancakes made fresh or fruit and gallo pinto. We got a room with a great view of the valley below. Good location for walking to several restaurants/bars. Parking lot just around the corner.

Not really a dislike but perhaps for a family of four if we were to do it again we might have looked for a rental villa or similar with a bit more room to spread out since in other places in CR we were able to get hotels with family suites with 2 bedrooms, but it’s not like the rooms were small, just a standard hotel, 2 queen bed set up. But you sacrifice having a breakfast made for us and helpful staff if going the private rental route, so we had no regrets.

Easy walk to Monteverde; nice friendly staff; excellent fresh prepared breakfasts; awesome windows with nice views and a lovely place to stay overall. Several lounging areas too for a nice touch. Even surprised me with a birthday bottle and balloons for my 70th! So sweet. Much appreciated those little touches. Staff is very helpful with tour bookings and transportation. Make sure to have lots of cash on hand, either Colones or USD.

Pillows were a little flat but not a big deal. Rooms were a little on the small size but had everything you need, tv, safe, nice shower etc. Really good value too so nothing to complain about.

Breakfast food and service was fantastic. Specialty coffees were a treat. Front desk staff very helpful in either Spanish or English. Community spaces (deck, lounge areas) were many and comfortable. Wood stove on cool nights was very welcome. Ability to use kitchen and refrigerator is unusual and very accommodating to guests. Having juices and coffee available and free around the clock, along with wine or beer for purchase is wonderful. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable - especially the bathroom and shower. Location is great with walking access to good restaurants, bars and groceries. Parking is plentiful and close. All in all a wonderful experience!!

Our experience at Camino Verde B&B was absolutely amazing! The hotel is cozy and welcoming, but what truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. They went above and beyond to help us find the perfect tours, making sure we had the best possible experience in Monteverde. Thanks to their recommendations, we saw incredible wildlife, met the best tour guides, and learned so much about Pura Vida and the beauty of Costa Rica. After our adventures, relaxing by the fireplace in the common area made us feel right at home. It was the perfect place to share stories from the day. If you’re looking for a place with fantastic hospitality, expert local guidance, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is it. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Justin and Diego were absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. They made the experience at Camino Verde wonderful. The fire in the evening was lovely, the shared spaces were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is an easy walk into town and it was very easy to arrange tours at Camino Verde. We stayed in the double bed room (up to 4 people) which was a little small but comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and I loved the shampoo/conditioner they had available to use. Overall we loved our stay here, especially the people. Would definitely stay here again!!

A very nice place to stay, only 5 minutes walk from town. Great views when weather permitted. Breakfasts were lovely. The only reason we are not giving it all 10s here is our room was very small and had no windows. This would have been fine if we were staying 1 or 2 nights but we were there 4 nights. They moved us to a much nicer room after 2 nights which we appreciated. The staff here are superb especially Diego, they really go the extra mile. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable room. Big enough for a couple, with also an extra couch to relax. WiFi was fine. The shower was also good as well. They have a reserved parking location right around the corner to park the car safely, as it closes at night. The guy that received us (I believe his name was Diego) was very nice. The rooms are very close to the city center so you can walk to many restaurants from it. There's also a tiny supermarket right next to it if you need to buy something to eat/drink.

Our room was a bit downstairs so it felt a bit humid. Nothing to worry about though.

I had room #1 which had a veranda and I had the morning sun. Beautiful flowering vine was so beautiful. The breakfast This facility was close to everything in town. As a solo I didn’t drive but many things were close to hotel with a nice little soda right next door. The Uber service and taxis were good. The staff was exceptional and helped me book some tours. Also the front desk was extremely helpful in finding me a site that had some canes as I left my on the shared shuttle.

Everything was great.

Our spotlessly clean room had a small balcony with a similarly fantastic view as the extensive communal deck. The bed was very comfortable and there was a complimentary bottle of water and a safe in the room. Diego clearly enjoys his job, going the extra mile to assist the guests with bookings and recommendations. The breakfast was impressive, with cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit platters, fresh fruit juices and a choice of cooked breakfast. Within easy walking distance of the town centre with it's many shops, restaurants and bank. This B and B represents excellent value for money.

The water pressure/ temperature for the shower was temperamental.
