Here is the review you were looking for: Overall, my partner and I were very happy with this hotel. We absolutely loved the little jungle gardena within the hotel area! But beware yourself, there are stairs to climb, which wasn't an issue for us, but maybe for someone with less mobility could be a problem. The pool was just the right size, altough it was a bit deep, 170 cm, which i think it's a bit dangerous as there is no lifeguard on duty. The food was nice in the restaurant and reasonable priced. Our room was nice and spacious, there was an aircon as well built in, which was very needed as the weather (as you would expect in Costa Rica) was hot and humid. The room didn't have much sunlight, to be fair it was quite dark but we personally didn't mind as we didn't spend much time in the room. To get to the Beach, all you need to do is to take the bus, which is 380 colones (around £0.5) and it takes about 6-8 mins to get there. The bus comes and goes in roughly every 15-20 mins. You can get towels from reception to take to the Beach but if you lose them they cost about $20. There are souvenir shops and restaurants in the area, too. Overall, I would recommend this place. The breakfast could be a bit more varied.

Great stay, gated parking, great breakfast included, all staff was very nice and super helpful, location was in the heart of Manuel Antonio within walking distance of many great places for food and adventure. The room we stayed in had access to the second lap pool that is not available to all guests, which included a private lounge area with 2 lounge chairs and a table.

No gym, and would have been great to know ahead of time there is a ~15% discount when paying by cash versus credit card.

We stayed in the suite which was a really lovely spacious accommodation set amongst the Lush jungle. The resort felt intimate and private. The pools were lovely and the staff were really friendly and happy to help. My sensitive skin reacted to the bedsheets and they immediately acted on my request to rinse out the bedding. Overall we had a lovely stay here and would recommend it to friends and family.

The breakfast was mediocre with not much variation. We managed to keep it interesting for the three nights we stayed but would struggle with a week of the same choices. The Villa was cleaned beautifully but like many other resorts, the tile floor was swept but not washed which made our feet/socks dirty after just a few minutes. Not a major issue but the floors need a good scrub.

Lovely room, and great pool area (complete with howler Monkeys in the trees at one point!). Staff were also really friendly, and the breakfast was good. Get there at 7am so it's fresh as it's a buffet style that stays out. Would definitely return!

Some of the reception staff weren't the most helpful at times, and a shame breakfast only starts at 7am as we'd booked excursions that meant meeting outside at that time. Saying that, the staff let us go in a bit early to grab a quick breakfast sandwich to go so that was helpful!

The pool area is a beautiful oasis which makes you feel you are in the jungle simply lovely. We had a room beside the pool which was super. The rooms are very large and comfortable, nice bathrooms Great cleaning staff that keep the rooms super clean. Staff individually very pleasant.

The receptionist is unwelcoming and unfriendly. After a long and tiring journey, to run into this gentleman who only wanted to tell us we would be fined if we lost our pool towel or room key was appalling further more to tell us not to ask questions until he had finished explaining what was important to him was plainly rude. This was a good hotel once slowly going down hill. Breakfast is unappetising and the apparatus they use is unhygienic. My best advice to the hotel is if you don’t use it or it hasn’t been cleaned in the last ten years throw it out!!!

The property is in a good location and the grounds are beautiful with a very tropical feel to it. We even had some monkeys visit for breakfast. Having two pools was nice. We ate at the restaurant several times and the food was absolutely delicious - very well presented too!

The front desk staff are pleasant but not overly friendly - so not so welcoming when you arrive or need something (by comparison to all of the other places we stayed). The room we had was small and very noisy with the road traffic and barking dogs that begin around 5am. Although your car is in a secured garage, it’s a little inconvenient to have to go to the front desk every time to have them open the garage door when you want to go out or go back in…beep of your own or atleast a bell instead of having to walk to the front desk would be better.

Beautiful room, beautiful landscaping, free toiletries, excellent buffet breakfast, nice restaurant, nice pool - Will was particularly friendly and caring and went the extra mile when several of my family members fell ill.

Extremely noisy almost every night at the pool. Some of the staff were not super friendly and seemed indifferent. The music in the restaurant was sometimes way too loud and unfitting. Had to request and wait for toilet paper several times (not expected in an expensive establishment).

Nothing that I can think of

The pool, the staff and the food was very good. We were visiting over christmas and the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

The social area by the pool was too close to some of the rooms, including ours. On each night there was a lot of noise coming from here late at night and sometimes very early in the morning. This was aggravated by the poor noise insulation in the room (shutter-style windows). The bar by the pool is also disused and it would be good if the bartender would come down to the pool to take drink orders rather than having to go up to the restaurant bar. The room was also quite small for the price.

Very clean & big room. Clean bathroom. Daily cleaning service. Pool was very clean and refreshing. Breakfast buffet great choices, all fresh. Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop right across the street where you can go to Manuel Antonio Nationalpark very fast (10 min) and cheap (one way 385 Colones per person) and you don't have to worry about the car and parking.

Location right next to the very busy main street (there are rooms farer away - I don't know if it's better there). But in our room it was very loud, the doors to the terrace are not soundproof at all. Fortunatly the traffic is much better at night, but in the morning at the whole day it's bad...
