The views from our hotel room balcony were just amazing . The pool area views as well. We also had a cat visitor on our balcony most of the days and since I am animal lover this was an added bonus . The room was spotless clean, had enough space for 3 adults and it even had a small kitchen area to allow for cooking or making coffee. With a bus (which runs every 10-15minutes) you are at the beach or in the national park in 5-7minutes bus ride.

The hotel bar cocktails were average. The jacuzzis in jungle area were a super idea of the hotel management but I would make the area more cozy space by adding hammocks or place to sit there too. But this does not affect the entire great experience of the hotel accommodation itself and the helpfulness of the hotel staff.

The views from both our room and the hotel were excellent. The room was clean and well-equipped. We asked to see our room before we paid as we had had some problems in other places in CR but the staff were happy to oblige and allowed us to do this. The staff were helpful even if not the most friendly. The water pressure and temperature were excellent. We were able to book a tour directly into the national park from the hotel which was sensational. The breakfast was typical CR food but filling. The pool was lovely and the hot tub was hot!

Our AC unit dripped but apart from that we were very happy.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Roca! We had a really nice room with direct views over the jungle and the ocean. The restaurant, pool and terrace are amazing, breathtaking and so nice to hangout and watch the wildlife. What really made it perfect was the friendliness of all staff, but especially the two bartenders. The food at the restaurant was outstanding and the location of the hotel just perfect. Without a second thought we would book this hotel right again.

Gerald was superb. He helped organize and book all my tours and all my transportation. He's very patient and hospitable. Also, Carmen makes great cocktail drinks. She's super friendly and funny. They all made my stay very memorable The room was clean, spacious, and modern The swimming was perfect size, the jacuzzi was my favorite. Foods were delicious. Lots of wildlife I see while was in the resort. The view was breathtaking. Also, walk away from the beach I will definitely go back

This hotel was the place to be, I went as a solo female and felt very safe. The owner Jaret is one of the coolest humans, super chill and laid back. The manager Johanna, goes out of her way to make sure you’re having a great time and feel safe, she is the ultimate customer service Queen and I adored her. The guys at the bar Javier, the hot bartender who is so nice who makes you have a great time and is always checking on you and Miguel who has a contagious smile were awesome. Then breakfast, the waitress Kenya is adorable and so sweet and then Rosa who makes the most delicious breakfast I ever had in my life. The cleaning staff is trustworthy and hilarious. Everyone is amazing and I can’t wait to stay there again. Made my absolute amazing vacation even better. Everything is in walking distance, some beaches bit further, but if I can walk it anyone can. Bank is directly across the street, which is convenient. The views….. Amazing!!!!!! This place and the staff will forever be in my memories and everyone should stay here. Always good music playing as well.

Everything was absolutely perfect

I had an amazing 2 night stay at this hotel when my other reservation fell through. The view and pool area is stunning. You can watch the sunset or lounge there during the day. My room was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I saw many monkeys, birds and lizards. I was very sad to leave!

Nothing really, maybe a kettle/chair in the room would be nice but it is a minor point!

This hotel is amazing!! The views are unbeatable, the staff is incredibly friendly. The food is excellent. There is a friendly cat who wanders around saying hi to people. Monkeys came and hung out with us during breakfast twice, and so did a large iguana. The room was wonderful. It’s very easy to get to any attraction from here and aside from the hotel restaurant there are fantastic restaurants in walking distance. We are coming back!!

The breakfast was delicious! We had to opt for additions to the continental to have a filling meal but the options were great! The service was also excellent!

Sometimes they had to close for lunch due to staffing. It wasn't a big deal though because there are options nearby.

The breakfast was consistently great and served with friendly smiling faces. The view of a lifetime was good to enjoy while eating and the occasional monkey visits also added to the experience.

One suggestion I would have would be an updated way to enter the rooms. A keypad system would make going and coming from the pool much easier without having to keep up with keys. I did have to bother staff to open the room for me. Surprisingly only once because it is an automatic lock so if you set your keys down you are out of luck. Not a deal breaker but could be an easy convenient upgrade.

Fabulous location with gorgeous views from the room as well as from the pool and breakfast area. The lower jacuzzi in the forest area is absolutely lovely by day and night, a pleasure to bathe and socialise in the midst of nature. Breakfast was delicious and a good choice of possibilities. The hotel is near to restaurants, cafés and shops with a really good range of food and drink on offer. The room was calm, relaxing, comfortable and spacious with very necessary and effective airconditioning.

Nothing, really, everything was of a high standard and I had no niggles.
