Detailed description: The design of igloos is unique and cool. The pool area is so nice and offers a lot of interaction with other travellers. The Casa Planta is also a good option for refreshing drinks by the pool. Parking was free with security cameras and the welcoming drink was a nice touch. The hotel team is responsive and always around. The room is so clean and has nice toiletries and essential oil diffuser (that was really surprising) The location of the hotel is maybe 5 months walk from the beach which is great. There are a couple of beach restaurants to eat from but if you want to explore more, please note the area is filled with uphills and expect to walk for 15 min min (4min drive) to nearest good rated restaurant. Overall since the area and national park were underwhelming I can say the hotel was the highlight of my trip. The hotel’s back yard is a jungle (we explored the view the last day). Seeing monkeys from the hotel is not impossible. We saw one black from a distance and we saw the most beautiful birds (yellow and red bellied) that honestly I didn’t see elsewhere in the area. Also the last day an amazingly medium sized bird came in exploring the pool area and we were all stunned with how beautiful this bird was. I would definitely stay there again.

Some stuff about the room may not be suitable for some. For example the sink is outside the toilet area. The shower doesn’t have a curtain and in general the minimal look of the room leaves little room for sitting or arranging your luggage properly. It didn’t bother me.

This is a funny little place. Strange igloo shaped rooms which a a little too close to each other and a little too close to the pool. However, that strangeness is its strength. The rooms inside are very pleasant. Comfortable bed and good facilities. There is an odd acoustic effect due to the shape of the room. Try talking directly under the centre of the room and whisper at the side while someone else stands on the other side, quite amusing.

The grass around the pool is muddy and would be better replaced with paving slabs or similar. Also, the furniture around the pool has seen better days, the space would be better used for more sun beds. However, due to the close proximity to the beach, space around the pool is not an issue. Might be different in the high season though.

Excellent location. Walking distance to the beach. The includes breakfast was delicious! Served with fresh juice and coffee each morning. The pool is warm and nice. The property is REALLy well maintained

Our lodge didn’t have hot water. We didn’t notice initially, but our stay was short. I highly recommend checking hot water when you get there so staff can fix if needed. Avoid lodge 24. It was all the way at the end by the flood lights that light up walking path so the light was really bright and had difficulty getting decent sleep at night. We didn’t mind much for a 3 night stay.

White igloo houses were Beautiful. Good smelling and clean rooms. Eating area by the pool was nice. Swimming pool seemed nice but we rather went to ocean to swim. Staffs were super friendly and nice, giving good vibes. So close from the beach, like just 2 minutes walk away.

Hotel was by the busy road so there was lot of dust around the swimming pool seating area and chairs. Noise from road was a little downside of staying there. Another was the main entrance is through the restaurant of the hotel, so every time you get in and out, you had pass through the restaurant, customers and staffs which I felt a little inconvenient personally. Not any vegetarian and vegan food choices in the restaurant, so we had to go find other restaurants for food.

Having your own igloo meant not hearing people in floors above or below you, like in a traditional hotel. Having separate shower and toilet rooms were excellent! There was also a small shop just across the street with all of the essential you might need, including wine. The breakfast included with the room was large, meaning we didn’t really need lunch! Staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and service was good.

The restaurant within the property was closed one evening without signs warning of it. There were not enough hangers or hooks in the room with which to hang up and dry clothing that got wet in the rain.

Gabriel and the other staff were welcoming and attentive. The property is unique, with a lovely pool area, and right near the beach (3 minute walk). The rooms are exceptionally clean and beautiful. There are enough amenities for a short stay. There was a problem with our ac in the first igloo and we got our room changed so the ac could be fixed in the original room. They couldn't have been more polite and more hardworking. Gabriel also showed us how to work the t.v. so we could watch a Netflix movie. The restaurant on site is stupendous. It's cozy and open air, with lots of big fans going, so very comfortable. I have to say that the rice with shrimp was the hottest, most delicious, most well-seasoned dish. Best rice of my whole week-long trip!

You know, it's hard to think of anything. We were a bit "entertained" by the acoustics, which made my husband's voice sound like it was coming out of my own head....not an annoyance as much as a curiosity. I was looking for a room coffeemaker in the early a.m., but they were happy to give us coffee from the restaurant, even though we left an hour before breakfast started. There was a fridge and a safe.

Gorgeous little hotel . Spotlessly clean . One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had in a hotel . We booked last minute and were a little concerned the place seemed gimmicky . However , it was great . Near beach . Lovely staff . Quiet . Nice pool and vibe

We got ripped off in restaurant . Paid $150 for a small quick evening meal . 2 kids 2 adults . 3 drinks between the adults . Was nowhere else to eat , didn’t quite realise how expensive it was until we ate elsewhere and compared .

At check-in, Leo, with a big smile, warmly welcomed us and made us feel right at “home”. Our room was super comfortable and very clean, and the employees that took care of the rooms also were kind and always smiling. The restaurant was wonderful - every meal was delicious! and the service staff were so pleasant to be around. Juan Carlos waited on us daily, sometimes from early morning through the evening, always kind and joyful. The gardens were very well kept and the pool clean, and the gardener too would cheerfully greet us. Everyone there made our stay wonderful…thank you!!

I absolutely love this place! It has such a beautiful vibe. The landscaping is so gorgeous and very well curated and maintained. The beds are comfortable, and we are even having the same person handcraft a special bed for us. The music is fun and uplifting, and not too loud. Even when the place is full, there is a lot of privacy but also everything is convenient.

Only minor things that I would like to see change. Some of the toilets are awkwardly placed, and the showers are very large but there is not much to hold onto with soap in your eyes.

Stylish, clean and unique compact lodge that super cute but also is easily accessible. The rooms are clean, minimal and very nice. Perfect for a short stay. Since it's right next to the beach you can leave all your stuff at home pop down there and back within minutes. It's also opposite a small convenience store, 5-10 min walk to all the restaurants and shops and a 20 min walk to the Manual Antonio Nature park. Pools were open all night (ish) so was nice to have a dip after a long day of hiking. It's also right next to the bus stop that goes into Quepos.

It was quite expensive for the amenities since it's about $30 less than the more luxury hotels that have a lot more to offer, but you pay for the uniqueness and location so we only stayed for 1 night.
