The hotel has a great view of the ocean if you are staying at one of the top 2 levels. One of the island gives a golden reflection during the sunrise. It's a 5 minute walk to the Manual Antonio's entrance (make sure you make a reservation online to get in the park) and the beach. Goto the park early and you will the entire beach to yourself. Recommend going to Espadilla Beach during the sunset for dinner and drinks.

These containers are stacked on top of a very steep hill. If you want an ocean view, make sure you get the top 2 levels or you will be looking at roof tops. The hotel provides guest with golf carts to shuttle them from reception (bottom of the hill) to the second deck / parking location (top of the hill) or you can walk and take elevators. Don't get into the elevator if there are 3 people already in it!!! Or it will get stuck and you will get trapped. We got stuck in there (4 of us) and it was embarrassing :)

Fabulous place to stay, right by the national park and beach with 2 wonderful pools, great views and surrounded by nature. Loads of monkeys, birds, iguanas and deer. Be warned that the views come at the price of a steep climb, although there is a lift for part of the way.

The restaurant closed on Monday and early in the evenings. Whilst it was nice to have the buggy service to get up and down the hill they weren’t very reliable.

This hotel is ideally located near the Manuel Antonio park accessible by walk. The room with view on the sea allows to view all the wonderful park sea front. The breakfast and lunch area is open to the forest around where one can see sloths, birds and monkeys. There was also a nice live concert one evening. All the team was very helpful on any request from us. Monkeys are passing through the room balconies, so windows must be carefully closed all time, but at teh same time it is quite an experience to see them going through from the room inside.

The room itself is, as announced, a refurbished container, that is large enough and perfectly fine, the furniture inside is only a bit limited. The hotel is also on a stiff slope, a golf type shuttle brings you up.

This hotel is very well located for those who want to visit the park, located just a few steps away, but also for exploring the beach, which is approximately 5 to 8 minutes away on foot. The rooms have an interesting layout and all have views of the sea and the forest that surrounds the hotel, with a refrigerator, complimentary coffee, safe and the bathroom is functional and spacious with everything working properly (hot water, pressure, lights and air conditioning). The hotel is located on a hill and has 2 sections, one lower and one upper. Obviously the upper rooms have a privileged view of the panorama. Breakfast is simple but well proposed and served on a beautiful panoramic terrace. The staff is friendly and professional, always attentive and willing to help and provide information. They have a very welcome parking lot for guests, since it is difficult to park cars on the street. At night in this hotel it is possible to hear a unique symphony of nature noises coming from the park in which it is immersed. I recommend it to anyone who likes to connect with nature and the "pura vida" without giving up genuine comfort.

I didn't think it was bad, but it is a point of attention, as the hotel is on a steep hill and to access the rooms and services from the street, you have to go up (and down). In any case, the hotel has a golf cart, driven by staff, and whenever possible they help you go up, down and carry your bags if necessary.

Beautiful area, nice people and wonderful staff. Iguanas everywhere! Even a local iguana named Juanito! He was my favorite. Beautiful view. Great food. Monkeys around at sunset! Great location for tourists and right next to national park and beach! Awesome for surfers/cruisers.

The smell was a bit off in the rooms but I think it may have been the cleaning stuff they used. Or the chlorine. The way up to the hotel was a bit tiring so it would be hard for those who aren’t very active to walk up all those stairs, but usually they have golf carts and valet to drive you up, they assist in helping with luggage as well! Again, awesome staff. The pool could have been pressure washed/a bit cleaner, but it is deep and fun to swim in. overall great stay.

Location was perfect and property included free parking onsite. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Free breakfast was also delicious. We saw spider monkeys and howler monkeys right outside our room in the trees! Incredible experience.

Hill was very steep go go up to building. There was a parking lot by reception at bottom of the hill and another at the top pf the hill closer to buildings but we never found parking at this lot. Regardless, staff were more than willing to drive us up the steep hill in the golf cart if we needed help. Best staff at this property! Pura vida

Breakfast great and stunning views across park and out to see. Golf cart lifts up the hill. Proximity to restaurants and national park. Could leave car there. Sun beds around pool good. Close to beach.

The location next to Manuel Antonio national park was exceptional. We only stayed one night, but were able to leave our car in the carpark whilst we accessed the park the next day, which was most welcome. The pools were gorgeous and views amazing. We enjoyed watching the monkeys climb over everyone's balconies in the morning!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

Room was small, but we expected that and it wasn't an issue. Had good lighting, air-conditioning and excellent shower, so we had all we needed! Breakfast service was really slow; took an hour for food to arrive which could be an issue for park access, which is in timed slots. Luckily we'd gone early for breakfast, having been woken by the monkeys jumping on our roof. Breakfast burrito was very tasty though, despite staff not being able to keep up with flow of people.

This is an excellent option for staying next to the Manuel Antonio national park. The facilities are clean and the set up fun (being from containers). Family loved the swimming pool. The breakfast which is included was excellent (and lots of places I found charge extra for breakfast). I was particularly attracted by the monkeys and had the joy of seeing them clamber around one morning - didn’t do it every morning (which for me and the family was a shame). Saw lots of iguanas too and some pretty birds. Staff friendly and shuttle trolley up the hill came in handy however for those that struggle with hills the hotel may be a challenge. I didn’t enjoy the restaurant as it was very expensive for what you got but I felt the same about the restaurants generally in Manuel Antonio. However it is easy to go into the hills by public bus and we had an excellent meal at the butterfly cafe.

I had a good stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and attentive and answered all my questions. The room was a little dated but it did everything I needed it to, and the view from the balcony was incredible. The room has an interesting layout with two double beds - I think a sofa may have been more useful than a second double bed, but I was barely inside the room anyway. The lower pool was never very busy so no issues with access to sunbeds etc. There are some restaurants nearby but it's quite a quiet area once the park closes and most restaurants are more or less closed by 9pm.
