Beautiful property convenient to the beach, national park, dining and shopping. The pool area sat above the reception and was clean and relaxing after a day in the park. Nice, clean rooms with AC and hot showers. We had a king bed room with a veranda - despite the noise of the street and the restaurant in this room location, the wildlife and view of the stream were a highlight so I would still recommend the location of the room. The breakfast was delicious every morning and the restaurant/bar were excellent as well. The entire staff were welcoming and accommodating.

There is much activity in this area. If you are a light sleeper, I highly recommend ear plugs or other noise cancelling device.

The overall hotel is very nice and clean. The location is superb, same walking distance to the beach as to the National Park.

Restaurant was incredibly understaffed which resulted in a cocktail taking 15 minutes to be ready. One single employee which had the function of bartender, cashieer, greeting customers at the entrance, taking orders, cleaning tables, practically a 2 or 3 person job done by just one. No amount of effort from her part would be enough to achieve normal standards of service.

The location is very good, very close to the beach and the entrance of Manuel Antonio park! It offers a pool, so very pleasant to spent time there. The stuff very friendly and the room was clean. Would recommend it if the goal is to visit Manuel Antonio.

Our room was noisy from inside by people talking or stuff cleaning and from the trucks passing by the street. We visited mid May and the area was very quiet. But it looks very touristy, so in a busy period I wouldn't stay in the neighborhood if not for visiting Manuel Antonio.

Attentive staff - they advised us attraction that wasn’t very popular but was even better than Manuel Antonio Park. Good location - almost in the center of everything but a little bit outside of it. Restaurant- surprisingly good variety food that can compete with other restaurants near by. Clean swimming pool - very cosy but good alternative to public beach. Tip - buy early tickets to Manuel Antonio Park and go to the beach. It is much better than public beach. Private parking.

No place to dry your wet clothes in the room but you can put them outside so it is not big issue. Breakfast was rather poor experience No Internet in room - only in public places.

LOVED Hotel Villabosque. The location can't be beat...2 minute walk from Manuel Antonio N.P. and 3 min walk from the beach. The building and grounds are beautiful and the room is comfortable and clean and a really nice pool too. A wonderful breakfast is included. Would stay there again without a hesitation

My room was beautiful! Updated and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping came by daily with clean towels and made the bed. The front desk people were very accommodating and sent me with a to go breakfast on my last day when I was catching the bus because they knew I would miss breakfast. They were great!

I travelled with my wife and my 10yo daughter and stayed for about a week. The hotel location is incredible, 200m far to the beach allowed us to go anytime of the day swimming and coming back to the room if we forgot something or simply to cool down. The hotel is also 200m from the Manuel Antonio main entrance. The hotel is small, with about 20 rooms and comfy, with all the comforts of a bigger facility. The personnel is full of attention and always available with great recommendation and suggestions. We tried several restaurants to change but we all agreed that our favorite is the one at the hotel - also because the menus are very similar but food quality, personnel, and price make the Villabosque one our favorite. Big adds-on was being awaken by a monkey family that was using the roof as an highway.

This is a true boutique hotel that has all the accomodations in a great location. The Patio area is covered and decorated beautifully. It would rain in the evenings. We could sit in the beautiful patio area and enjoy the rain while staying dry. There were plenty of racoons and monkeys to see all around the hotel, especially to the side and back of the hotel where the trees are. Even though there is plenty of wildlife around the hotel, the interiors are well insulated and pleasantly quiet. This is also apparent as we did not hear street noise inside our room. The rooms are set back nicely into the property to allow guests some separation for the busy street. The rooms were set up nicely by housekeeping and cleaned very well each day. Laundry service is also available for a fee and they offer easy tour reservations as well.

The breakfast could be better. The breakfast sausage was a hot dog and they were out of bacon. The continental breakfast was simply toast and jelly with fruit.

The hotel and staff and area are fantastic! Maria at the front desk and Gilbert at the restaurant and bar were so nice and knowledgeable and helpful. Beautiful rooms and pool, good food at the restaurant. All of the staff we encountered were wonderful.

Location is 5min walk from the Manuel Antonio Park, nice hotel design, great forest view from the pool, everything is clean.
