The location was amazing! Right next to the park and a gorgeous beach. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and the ac was awesome! Kitchenette was great, also. Would definitely go back!

A couple minor things would take it from a 9 to a 10.. *bigger coffee pot (single cup was annoying) *gate to beach needs 24/7 access *nicer toilet paper *blackout curtains (hard to sleep past 6am) *brighter lighting for the bathroom or a mirror somewhere else in the room (hard to apply makeup!) *mattress was very firm

The pool was amazing! The beach was amazing! The staff was amazing! The beach could definitely be more comfortable. It would be better if there were blackout curtains in the front window bc there is a light outside each one. I could have used another blanket but I didn’t ask for one. We did ask for extra pillows which they brought right away. There was a hotel kitten named Jaco was a super added bonus! While I only saw one monkey on the property, lots of other people said they saw them at the pool and even a sloth closer to the evening. They have towels you can take to the beach or pool. They are the same size as a bathroom towel. Just an fyi. Not an issue. The photos online make it look like there were beach chairs for the hotel but they do not have any. But there is a guy who rents them right there. We got 3 chairs and a shade for about $15 for all day. There are 5 lounge chairs and the pool but they always seemed to be available. The restaurant on site was so good too. Closed Wednesday, just an FYI. Check out was at 11 but they will hold your bags and you can stay all day. There is a bathroom in the lobby with a shower to use.

The location is incredible - a few steps from the gorgeous beach, and with whitefaced monkeys playing in the trees! The staff upgraded us for free into an accessible room with two queen beds when they saw my mother was on crutches with a sprained ankle. They also allow you to continue to use the facilities and give you access to showers and towels etc after check out time. The pool is lovely, and it is slightly away from the main strip meaning it is very peaceful, but everything within a 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive). They can book ANYTHING you want for you. Power cut out a few times, but that can't be helped I guess. Loved it!

Hotel is literally right on the beach! It was so wonderful to be steps away from paradise! The pool area was also lovely and restaurant did a decent job with breakfast. A bit pricy for what it was though. It's also really nice to have the kitchenette in the room. Such a bonus! Staff were just lovely. AC worked great!

The room we were in was VERY musty smelling and often the bathroom smelled like backed up sewage. I think it was from the shower b/c sometimes when others turned on their water, the drain would gurgle. The beds were just awful! Hard as concrete and no one had a good rest. Sheets and bedding smelled fresh and clean though.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. Our room was close to the pool spacious and we loved having the kitchenette. The large walk-in closet was a plus for 4 people in the room giving us plenty of space to store our luggage without cluttering the room. Its location on the beach was amazing, and the beaches were uncrowded and beautiful. The staff was friendly and kind. The day manager, Randall, was a very friendly guy and loved taking US Football with us. Our daughter and family were visiting for Christmas, and we took a pre-Christmas trip to the beach, and we all had a wonderful time. Making priceless memories. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location with direct access to the beach from the property. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the national park entrance. Family-owned for 31 years.

Walls between rooms were thin and noisy neighbors were easily heard. Onsite restaurant was open only for breakfast and lunch; and was overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. (That said, the entire tourist district around Manuel Antonio NP is expensive.)

This could not be more perfect for the beach! There are also restaurants that you can walk to and it’s a very short drive in to Quepos with plenty of shops en route. We stayed at this hotel while we were waiting for availability at a more expensive hotel and honestly I wish we had just stayed here all the time! We had a lovely warm welcome at reception

The restaurant wasn’t open however it wasn’t a major problem as there was plenty of food nearly. A cooker job would have been great but not expected for the price of the room!

My Husband and I live outside of San Jose and our kids & grandkids came for Christmas. We enjoyed 4 days & 3 nights at this wonderful hotel, No frills but, exceptionally clean with great pool and the hotel was right on the beach. We had 2 rooms which was great for our family of 7. Loved having the kitchenettes for Breakfast and Lunch. So many wonderful restaurant within walking distance for dinner. The staff was amazing and everything exceeded our expectations. Will definintely be back.

The private bedroom en-suite was clean and comfortable. Super great location for Manuel Antonio. A quick 5 min walk to tons of great restaurants and attractions, and a few steps to the most beautiful beach view. The restaurant staff were fantastic, friendly, and provided great food and company.

You pay a deposit for beach towels but they’re the exact same as the room towels. It would have been nice to have bigger towels for the beach. Can’t complain about anything, the place was great.

You can’t beat this location! Just steps from the beach and close to all the shops and restaurants. We had the 1 bedroom suite, so we traded extra space for a view. Squirrel monkeys played in the trees by the pool. Iguanas just walked around. Scarlett macaws were eating almonds just outside the gate. Breakfast at the on site outdoor restaurant was good and cheap. Be sure to try the coffee! Will miss the little orange and white cat. Pura vida!
