We had an incredible stay at Hotel Manuel Antonio Park! The service was absolutely top-notch — staff were warm, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make the experience special. The location couldn't be better: it's just steps away from the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park, which made early morning hikes and wildlife spotting super convenient. Breakfast was good — fresh and satisfying — though it could use a bit more variety from day to day. Still, it hit the spot and kept us fueled for adventures. Overall, this hotel is a perfect base for exploring the area. Clean rooms, amazing service, and unbeatable proximity to nature. Highly recommended!

It was clean and the people were very friendly. The owner is called unfriendly by some reviewers - that is not our experience at all! Cleaning staff was also very good and very friendly.

We were close to the pool area which was sometimes quite noisy. The location of the hotel is conveniently close to the national park entrance, but this mkes it sit in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle

The breakfast was a very limited buffet with coffee, juice, bread, eggs, rice with beans, and fruit. It is not a front ocean hotel. You need to walk for 10 minutes to go to the beach. The parking of Manuel Antonio Park is across the property, so the street was very busy.

The manager was so accommodating and provided us with a lovely room for two nights. He worked very hard to get us into the national park online. (I guess the online booking system has changed things in terms of the national parks and hopefully will improve.) The important thing is that you hire a certified guide who will wear the appropriate badge to indicate they have the qualifications. The hotel pool was particularly nice and the breakfast options were very good. Thanks for our stay! Anne and Mo

It would be nice if there was a full length mirror in the suite and the toilet paper roll was closer to the toilet- just little things.

The location can’t be beat! The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Cold AC. Hot sower. Decent WIFI. Tasty typical Costa Rican breakfast. Is the property older? Yes. Is it a fancy resort? No. Are there cracked tiles. Yes. Manuel Antonio is an expensive place to visit. And for the cost and location it can’t be beat. Review complaining about bugs… you are in a jungle. Noise? You are less than a block from the busiest National Park in the country. O highly recommend this place for a no frills stay.

Loved everything about it! It was right by the most gorgeous beach, the staff were so nice the room was spectacular and bed extremely comfortable, we loved the pool and just overall had an amazing experience would highly highly recommend

The location is perfect, just a few steps from the national park and 5 minutes from downtown Manuel Antonio. The pool is refreshing, and the air conditioning in the rooms works very well. The staff is very friendly.

Breakfast is included; however, it's served until 9 am. We enjoy sleeping in when on vacation. I would have preferred breakfast served until 10 am. I couldn't try it because we wake up around 9 am every day.

After mixed reviews we were sceptical however it turned out to be very good stay: clean, location is fantastic, quiet, excellent customer service.

Great location, right at the entrance to the park

The staff in the restaurant wasn’t very attentive. There’s such a great potential for their restaurant, but the staff isn’t into customer service.

Convenient location, well priced, great staff, nice breakfast portions, ample parking, relatively quiet given the proximity to everything, overall pleasant stay!

No major concerns / issues however; there are some minor maintenance items needing attention, there’s great potential here!
