The VIEW!!! from every corner, from entering the grounds, to the restaurant and the pool. Spectacular!! The room was huge!! and we had a large balcony too, where we had tropical scenery as well as ocean view. It was the perfect place to unwind in the evenings. We saw birds, heard monkeys (though we didn't see them) but we did see a big iguana on the tree one day. The restaurant was excellent!! breakfast was delicious with a nice selection (made to order) and we chose to dine there every night because the food was so good! The stuff Was awesome, friendly, smiling and attentive. Out of the 4 places we stayed in Costa Rica this was by far our favorite!!

Staff were excellent went above and beyond to make my visit special. Breakfast was excellent! I loved the location away from all of the masses of tourists in other parts of the area. Very nice group of fellow visitors, without young children screaming in the background.

I was a bit disappointed in the view from my room, I probably had the worst in the resort. Still had a good view just took a little bit of effort to see it. I wish there was easier access to the beach.

Overall the hotel is still a good luxury hotel for us to stay. The view is great in the morning, and the decoration is special. The staffs were friendly, and guided us to park the vehicles and helped us carry the luggage. The breakfast was quick and good.

Even though the room is spacious, the objects are not positioned in an efficient way: a lot of tables are full of objects that we couldn't put our own stuff; there isn't a place to sit and use computer. Also, throughout our trip in Costa Rica, this is the only hotel where we were bitten by mosquitoes quite a lot. The pest prevention can be done better.

The staff of this hotel is extremely friendly and exceptionally kind! I also loved the views from our room and the size of our suite was incredible! Breakfast was nice, but the produce used was not always the freshest, compared to other same-priced locations we stayed at in Costa Rica. Wifi was stable and the parking was comfortable enough. Overall a good stay to visit Manuel Antonio.

I did not particularly enjoy the layout of the rooms: the toilet has a saloon-type door, which is also very squeaky. So, unless you are VERY comfortable in sharing everything with the person you are travelling with, this might be a bit of a downside. The location wasn't ideal for us either: the gorgeous views mean that you will have to be prepared to hike a mountain to get onto the beach or into town and you would need to take the car to get anywhere really. Personally, I did not mind the walks, but I can see how this could be a problem to some.

Beautiful views, quiet/not over crowded at all, staff was attentive for the most part. Pool was super deep and great for swimming or soaking. Plenty of seating to suit all guests at the pool. Daily visits by monkeys, macaws, iguanas, and toucans—loved soaking in the pool, watching them in their natural habitats! Included breakfast was fresh and delicious. All meals we ate at the restaurant were yummy!

Our room was right off of the dining room. While it was conveniently located to dining, pool, exit, spa, it was also very loud specifically during meal times and I wasn’t able to sleep in as I like to do on vaca because staff starts loudly setting up breakfast around 5:45 every day. The beach is beautiful, but as many have posted before, it’s a brutal walk (pretty much straight downhill to the beach and straight uphill coming back). If you brave the trail, wear good shoes and take water! Overall, service was great, but there were times we were in the pool area and it lacked.

The hotel is beautiful, the view from our room was amazing and we saw all kinds of birds (Macaws, Toucans, etc.) and monkeys while eating breakfast. The staff were friendly, efficient and went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. Thank you Julia, Randal, Gaston, & front desk lady (can't remember her name). The food in the restaurant was delicious. We went fishing and brought the fish back with us and the chef cooked it for us. For a short visit or a longer stay (as we did) this is the hotel to book!

The room was huge and clean. Great views of the canopy and the sea from both the room and the restaurant. We saw a lot of wildlife and the staff even lent us binoculars for the duration of our stay to help us see everything better. The food for breakfast was delicious and changed everyday with excellent service. I highly recommend this place and would come back anytime.

Both beaches nearby are indeed a hike to access. And the bathroom wasn't the most private (just some doors but not separated by a wall).

We loved the views from the hotel - especially from the breakfast/pool area (exactly as shown on the pictures). We even saw parrots flying around and few iguanas chilling around the property. Our room was spacious, well equipped (including jacuzzi) and also with a beautiful view. Breakfast was good though only with one choice of meal every day.

The location is a bit awkward since it’s on a hill under Manuel Antonio village meaning that you need either car/taxi to get to restaurants/shops or hike up the hill (took us 20 mins of a good cardio) on a road that’s not lit properly in the night. The place tries to remedy this with a free shuttle service that takes you up to the town or to the beach nearby however the shuttle only runs until 4pm so you still need to deal with the hill going to/from dinner.

The property was amazing. But if you have a hard time w stair you may want to let them know. Also we had the Honeymoon suite which was lovely - but not for older ppl who can't navigate stairs and sudden steps. But the staff, food and views were impressive. Especially if you want to see Monkeys, Toucans and other rain forest wildlife etc

The view was incredible . We were above the forest canopy so saw birds that can be difficult to spot like Toucans and Scarlett Mccaws regularily.

I would have liked to have been a bit closer (walk) to the town . We had a car so it was fine but it would have been nice to be walking distance .
