I like the location, closer to the airport I love Aloft all the time , clean and wide

Just too pricey to be in Costa Rica for that price.. It's far away to the city and the price is kind of higher but lower than other hotels.. that is the reason people pick air b and b this time.. there are lots of Air b and b now that's beautiful than the hotel like what I rented out in Guatemala City.. it is beyond beautiful.. 2 bedrooms with kitchen and clean and has a washer and dryer and it's only 79US dollars.. if I could have stay more than 5 days in Costa Rica, I would have look an Air B&B.. but I was only there for transient and I paid 140cad dollars. 119. uS dollars.. that price is the same here in Canada .that's the reason I guess hOtels are now going down except for those business trips then they will take the hotels .. a lot of people now are taking air B&B.

The breakfast was excellent. Great selection. The room size was large and very comfortable. The hotel provides you with a variety of activities. The small snack market was also a nice touch. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

It’s a bit away from the center so it is helpful to keep that in mind. It was about a 15 USD cab ride to the center. We didn’t mind because there are also tons of things to do closer to the hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel several times during trips to Costa Rica. We travel to the Pacific coast and find the location ideal for being outside of the city core, easy to get to the airport and easy to access the highway over to the South Pacific. We had dinner here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the service. It is everything we need in a place to stay overnight on our travels.

Good price in a great location

Hotel needs maintenance, i stayed 3 years ago and notice not a single thing changed, some things are broken, need to be changed or updated. This used to be a hype place, but is getting dated quickly. Breakfast used to be the best in town, now is just another generic hotel breakfast, that's a deal breaker for me, I may not stay again because of this. It starts to feel like anything else but an Aloft or a W brand experience.

The king size bed had really nice linings very comfortable. I was on the 7th floor I had beautiful views of the mountains from my bedroom.

The only thing is no frigerator in the room. I travel with medications it has to be chilled but I worked it out and they were very accommodating to try to help me.

I absolutely loved all their Halloween decorations!! The hot water was hot and the pressure was amazing!! 2 items that seem harder and harder to find these days in a hotel!!

Only thing we didn’t like was the carpet in the room. With all the rain and moisture I feel it should all be tile.

Very clean and comfortable room. Hotel was well kept. Nice bar and restaurant. Food was decent. Loved that they gave you the option to add breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the price which was very convenient on the days we were tired from excursions and didn't want to spend extra money for uber or driving to restaurants. Reception was courteous and kind and helpful. Enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

Great Stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Everything was smooth and good. Free hotel Parking was a bit of hassle on late nights b/c you had to park away from the hotel and it was a few minutes walk but other than that everything was great!!

Rooms modern, comfy bed and great shower. Breakfast pleasant. Easy to park

Very loud hum from what may have been ac units outside the hotel this disturbed our sleep which was a shame. I did email the hotel a week before arriving asking for a quieter room having taken note of the other similar reviews. Unfortunately the request was not fulfilled. I think there may be a possibility all rooms may have this noise.

Aloft hotel is located in convenient distance to airport. The check-in and check-out in the hotel was very smooth. The room is quite, comfortable and really spacious. The desk in the room is added value if you travel for leisure or business. The selection and quality of the food for breakfast meet our expectation. The same for dinner, selection and quality of the food for diner meet our expectation.

The rooms were very comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The bar and restaurant were nice, and the extra amenities and activities like the pool table and the karaoke nights were a great adittion.

Not exactly related to the hotel, but traffic in the area got pretty bad, and it was sometimes difficult to go out by taxi because of this.
