Location: 5min walk down to the main promenade where there are cute shops, restaurants and pakara's. 5min drive to Zlatini Rat (parking 5e/hour or 15e/day - cash only to pkg attendant). Hotel: boutique hotel, very clean, cute Pool: we didn't get a chance to use the pool because we love the beach. It looked very clean and serene. Staff: very friendly and helpful. Michelle at the restaurant was great, super friendly, attentive and remembered our names. Front desk staff were also nice. Wifi: it wasn't the best, it was just okay. Room: was very nice and clean, well stocked with shampoo, comfortable, cute. We were upgraded to #208. It had a peekaboo view of the ocean. Parking: outside and underground. Included and easily accessible. Restaurant: breakfast buffet was included. It had a nice selection of food, something for everyone, incl if you are vegetarian. On request, the kitchen will make you any kind of eggs the way you like it, waffles and pancakes (which are more like crepes than traditional pancakes). Way beyond a traditional continental breakfast.

Hotel is lovely and clean and is a nice size so is not too crowded. The pool area is lovely and there were no issues at all with sunloungers being available. Breakfast was great with a really wide selection. The hotel is a 5- 10 minute walk into the town/harbour ( depending which way you go). There are some lovely restaraunts and bars down there. The nearest beach is around a 15 minute walk ( Borak beach). sunloungers are expensive (€20 each) however they are really comfy and the water is crystal clear. Zlatni rat beach is a bit further- around 20/ 25 minutes walk from the hotel.

Rooms were very nice, pool area also nice (although a few more sunbeds would be good). Breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choice and could order eggs how you wanted them or pancakes if you prefer. The rooms had Tea and coffee making facilities as well as a safe and mini bar fridge which were very helpful. And Aircon was adequate to cool off. The hotel had a small gym are with some free weights, a running machine and weights machine which were more than adequate. There’s also a sauna if you want to use it. Staff were all very nice and helpful from the reception, breakfast to cleaning. The accommodation in Bol rises up a hill from the sea so it’s a 10 min uphill walk back to the property but nothing too strenuous. If you had small children or were elderly it probably wouldn’t be ideal but there are taxis available. The upside is the walk to the beach is downhill and only takes 5 mins or so. Hotel is also situated 2 mins walk from a small supermarket which is great. The hotel is kept and run to a very high standard.

This wasn't the usual type of place that we stay in, we usually choose small guesthouses and this was definitely not that . But nevertheless it was very comfortable with a very modern, attractive room. Lots of space. There was a small balcony with chairs and a table. The staff were pleasant. The included breakfast (maybe included because of my Genius rating?) was fantastic - lots of choice, good quality, etc. There was a pool and exercise room but we didn't use them.

We initially chose this place because we were traveling by ebike, and were told when booking that there was indoor overnight storage available for them. But when we checked in we were told the only option was to lock them up outside, in a small area for bikes. But the rack was already almost full with their own (rental?) bikes, and we had to resort to locking one of our bikes to an air conditioning unit. So, apparently there needs to be better communication between check in staff, and whoever answers their messages. Also, we specifically booked a pool view room but our room overlooked the small parking lot and the next door building. Other than these small gripes, things were very good.

The staff were wonderful! Smiling and funny and I am sure they have had a very long season so far. Hotel was super and the breakfast was such a bonus, really fresh and tasty. The views of the Sea and Havar were amazing as the Hotel commands a lofty position at the top of the town, will be planning a return trip!

My only niggle (not a criticism, just a niggle and it really is a 'first world' thing!) is that the Wifi signal was great around the hotel but not so good in the room. It was easily resolved by walking to the door of the room where signal strength jumped back up.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bol and loved our stay on Brač. We had a room upgrade so had a little more space than anticipated but even without that I imagine the room would've been just as comfortable for the three of us. We had a balcony overlooking the pool but we wren't disturbed by other guests using the pool. Breakfast was really nice and varied and the chef was more than happy to knock together anything on request. The location is pretty good. Only a 10 minute walk into town but be aware it is uphill from the town centre so when carrying luggage, this may pose a challenge for some.

Nothing

The room was clean and spacious, we could not even hear the neighbours. The pool and the area around it were well maintained and super clean. Our little daughter (3 years old) would run around the pool all the time, the timber and the tiles were not slippery at all! The deck chairs were mostly in the shade which made it a perfect spot to relax without getting a sunburn. The breakfast was exceptional, special wishes like café latte or scrambled eggs would be made on request. The staff was really friendly and helpful! Spoke good English. The hotel was very close to the centre of Bol, via short cuts you'll need less than 10 minutes to walk there. It was a really pleasant stay and we would love to stay there again!

Two little things: Even though the hotel cares about the environment, we had no chance to recycle our rubbish in the room. The other thing was, that the lovely natural looking shampoo, shower gel and body lotion, which were provided, contain micro plastics and paraffinum. But it was meant well...

Perfect stay! Can’t fault anything. We stayed for three nights and very generously received a room upgrade on arrival. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable and huge! Nothing was too much for the staff and they were all lovely and very helpful. Beach towels available at request from reception. Breakfast was very good with extensive selection of fruit, yoghurt, meat, cheese, salad, cereal and bread and eggs available to order fresh! Hotel is a short walk up the hill from the main centre (a gentle climb) and about 10-15 minute walk from the famous Zlatni Rat beach! Most restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk and there is a small supermarket two doors down.
