Superb standard of accommodation, service, food and drink. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional, particular mentions must go to Dea, Stella and Sasha. Pucisca is a lovely town, with welcoming and friendly locals. A perfect spot for a relaxing stay...almost...

...entirely outside the control of the hotel and staff is the fact that the town's church bell is right next door. It rings on the hour, with extra flourish at 6 o'clock, both morning and evening and of course, on Sundays! It is loud and cannot be missed. We are told one get's use to it, but our experience (4 night stay) was that at some point during the night we were awoken by it and certainly at the 0600hrs strikes. That all said, we treated it as part of the charm of the town and such was the quality of all other aspects of our stay, the 'bells' would not stop us returning.

We arrived on the island of Brač, which is an amazing place on its own. The hotel is located in a historic building that provides a luxurious, quiet, and pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with great coffee. There is a wellness center with a jacuzzi and sauna that can be used privately. We stayed in a room with a sea and marina view that felt like something out of a movie. The room was indeed small, and there was the sound of the bell tower in the morning – but it didn’t bother us at all. Absolutely worth the price. We would come back a thousand times!

Amazing!! What a very special place! Serene, elegant, historic, and oh so charming. The Palace is set in a quaint village without the bustle of other, more touristy towns. The charm of Puteus Palace is exceptional, as is the staff—attentive, knowledgeable, and perfect hosts. Our week there was simply perfection....the best food and drink in all of Croatia....the chef is so talented! From arrival to departure, the Palace exceeded our expectations! Of all our travel spots, this is the Winner!

Not a thing!

We had a really nice and spacious room, a large comfortable bed, nice spacious wardrobe for all kinds of clothes. The bathroom was amazing. It was a nice shower! The staff was lovely, kind, and friendly. They were all young, so it was good fun. Breakfast was nice! Buffet was not that big as some might expect, but it had plenty of choices, and you were able to order eggs made for you in any way possible with various combinations (i.e., Ham, salmon, vegetables, etc.) Eggs Benedict were amazing! :) Also, you can order pancakes, the staff is making you coffee. It was cozy, like you're at home. Unfortunately, the weather didn't serve us that much. We were not able to spend much time at the pool, but the garden and whole yard was really beautiful. Heritage in its finest! The location of the hotel is perfect, I mean, Pučišća is small and the hotel is located at the very center.

If you are a sensitive sleeper, the hotel is next to the Church sooo, think twice before booking because Church bells are pretty loud.

Our second time staying here. Last time in spring a couple of years back, this time late summer. Just as good this time, which is to say: borderline perfection. Incredible serene place to stay. Beautiful centuries-old building, wonderfully renovated and tastefully furnished. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout the place, making it a great place to lounge around in, even if you don't go wandering in Brac. The most welcoming staff. Not obsequious, just helpful, friendly and occasionally funny, and always on hand. A delightful outside eating space for evening dinner. Under a tree canopy with lighting suspended from its branches. And a genuinely excellent restaurant. Not a hugely varied menu, but lots of fish options (mainly caught that day), some veggie, and everthing is cooked wonderfully. Tuna lightly seared *just* right, seabass perfectly grilled, a risotto that was to die for. The pool is lovely - although it's a natural sun-trap, it's also (mildly) heated, with about dozen loungers and shades. The walk to it is through a pristine green lawn.

The neighbouring church can be enthusiastically loud when ringing its bells. There's short and sweet chimes on the hour all night, and also some longer & louder peals to annouce services e.g. at 7.30pm.

My partner and I booked this hotel for 4 nights as a treat for my birthday whilst we were on Brac and they were super helpful and could not do enough to ensure that my birthday with them was a special occasion. He worked with them to organise flowers and wine to be in the room on our arrival, we had dinner there on the night of my birthday (their food is sublime) and there was a suprise cake and the staff sang Happy Birthday. This is a small hotel so you really do get the personal experience, all of the staff were super friendly and helpful in terms of not just our stay there but the local area; breakfast is an amazing array of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, sweet treats and you can order eggs or pancakes. The hotel itself is pristine and the gardens and the deck and the pool are all just so pretty. If we are in the area again we would absolutely return to this hotel. Thank you for making our stay with you so special

Puteus Palace was a truly exceptional place to stay on Brač. The hotel is elegant and luxurious, with gorgeous rooms and impeccable grounds, which include a pool, though you probably won't spend too much time there since the beach is literally right outside. The staff were all welcoming, knowledgeable about local beaches and restaurants, and exceptionally accommodating. Breakfast at the Puteus Palace was absolutely amazing with a generous self-serve table with smoked salmon, various cheeses, fruits, pastries, smoked and dried meats, cold cuts, etc. Additionally, you can order eggs your way and/or pancakes/crepes from the kitchen. The coffee is superb! We had dinner at the hotel one evening and it, likewise, was great. Highly recommended! We will be back.

This is without a doubt the nicest hotel that we stayed in Croatia and the best treatment in a hotel we’ve ever had. The staff were a different level of kind, attentive and friendly. We really wanted for nothing and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay. In particular for my boyfriend’s birthday, they were so generous. The hotel itself is intimate and extremely well designed. I would stay here every year if I could. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Genuinely nothing. We stayed 2 extra nights we liked it so much. Food in the hotel is fantastic so I would eat there as the food options in the town are a little limited which is the only downside.

Beautiful property in a stunning location with excellent facilities and service. The room was a good size, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the pool was a welcome reprieve from the heat and the staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel is right on the harbour front, with boats coming and going each day, enough cafes and restaurant options to avoid repetition and two lovely shingle beaches with crystal clear water. The hotel arranged a visit to the Stonemason School, which is well worth a visit. The free roaming family of tortoise in the garden were a delight too. Could not have had a more relaxing few days.

This is an amazing venue with great staff and food. A beautiful combo of history and a relaxing lounge type atmosphere. Our amazing host Tea went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would recommend to anyone looking to disconnect from a stressful everyday environment.
