Hotel is right on the beach, a typical pebble beach that will require you wear shoes. The beach is absolutely great, 10 meters away from breakfast, in a family peaceful surrounding. The area around the hotel is very local, simple, and authentic, which we enjoyed very much. This means there is not much around, aside from a few restaurants, but if you are looking for a quiet small hotel on the beach this is it !! The hotel staff was very helpful and kind during our stay.

Breakfast was limited, with not so much fresh fruit or juices. The restaurant menu was also limited and I missed some of the traditional food of the region (particularly seafood). We had excellent grilled fish in a nearby restaurant.

I recently stayed with my family at Hotel Hildegard near Omis for four nights, and it was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff, who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself was stunning, with modern and stylish decor that made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and had a breathtaking view of the sea, which was a real treat to wake up to every morning. The room was clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed, including a mini-fridge, flat-screen TV. The hotel's location was perfect for us, with just at the beach. We spent afternoons relaxing on the hotel's beach area, which was peaceful and quiet, with plenty of sun loungers. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we had a wonderful time, especially our favorite lady at breakfast. We also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel's restaurant, which was really good and prices were very reasonable. The food was fresh and delicious, with a great selection of dishes to choose from. At this hotel, I was delighted to find that my room was always kept immaculate, with fresh sheets and a spotless environment that made for a truly comfortable stay. The housekeeping staff were attentive to detail and always ensured that every surface and corner of the room was thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. I never once had to worry about any unsightly stains, as the room was always spotless and inviting. All in all, our stay at Hotel Hildegard was a truly memorable experience. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel we stayed at during our itinerary through various European countries. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, with a privileged view of the sea — where dolphins can occasionally be seen — and a charming swimming pool beautifully integrated into the natural scenery. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the entire team showed great flexibility with regard to schedules, which we greatly appreciated. The kindness and professionalism of the staff truly stood out and made all the difference in our stay. The hotel features a restaurant of excellent quality, with dishes that demonstrate remarkable care in both presentation and flavour. However, the pricing makes it somewhat inaccessible for regular use across all meals. We would therefore suggest a broader menu selection, especially for dinner — the meal we had the opportunity to try — offering more variety at more competitive prices. Lastly, we believe that the pricing of certain items, such as a 0.75 cl bottle of water at five euros, could be reconsidered, as it felt inconsistent with the otherwise outstanding level of hospitality and service provided.

The location is great, actually amazing. First row to the sea with a beautiful private beach and a nice pool outside. The weather was not great, but I expected that since it's an early season. There are loads of activities you can do around that area, like rafting on the Cetina River. Krka is close; you can go ride quad bikes, you can visit the Blue Cave, and there's loads of other stuff. What was amazing and what I would really recommend is the restaurant in the hotel. The staff is amazing; really nice guys work there, and the food was bomb. Everything I tried was perfect: tuna steak, steak, seafood, literally everything.

If you have a low car, it's hard to access the parking. But I guess that's the same throughout the whole coast. Wine is overpriced.

We spent five wonderful days at this beautiful hotel. Everyone was friendly and always ready to help. Our room was spotless, practical, and had a stunning sea view (all rooms in the hotel face the sea). The guests were quiet and well-mannered, and despite several families staying with young children, there was never any noise or disturbance. The hotel’s restaurant offered a fantastic selection of dishes, and the waiters were exceptionally kind and attentive. The hotel also has its own private beach, with a sunbed reserved for every guest. The sea is the typical pebble beach, deepening quickly, and the water was incredibly crystal clear! Overall, this is a truly wonderful hotel with friendly staff and excellent service. I can only recommend it to everyone!

The location of the hotel is good, the sea is practically in front of your room, 10m away, you can hear the waves from your bed. The pool is quite nice. The staff is very helpful. Good options for breakfast. The restaurant also serves interesting dishes.

Our room was right above the restaurant and at night and in the morning there was a bit of noise. Also, you can hear people talking on the hallway or other guests snoring or making loud noises. We've informed the staff about the cleaning ladies yelling at 6.30 AM and they were nice enough to offer another room but we've refused it because it was mid holiday and for the last 2-3 nights it wasn't worth it.

The hotel conditions were excellent – very clean, good food (not too varied, but tasty), friendly staff, peaceful atmosphere, and plenty of free sunbeds. The only downside was the restaurant menu, which felt overly fancy and expensive for lunch or dinner. Like many other guests, we preferred eating at a nearby taverna. The restaurant staff also came across as a bit too formal. If you want to eat a simple and relaxed meal, this might not be the place. Otherwise, everything was excellent. Kudos to the kind staff and their efforts in customer service!

This hotel is situated directly on the beach, immaculately clean, good breakfasts,perfect room with beautiful sea view. The staff are super helpful and friendly in particular Manuela in the restaurant so very friendly,helpful and always with a smile. I would recommend highly ‘Hotel Saint Hildergard ‘ to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday in a beautiful area. Having a car is in my opinion a necessity as the hotel while not isolated is not near to restaurants etc.,

Parking while being free can be difficult .This was the only downside.

Too far out from Omis. One of the reviews I read said there were restaurants nearby, however we didn’t find any nearby to walk to. We went for dinner one evening and were completely ignored so left! Would have been helpful if the hotel had informed us the entrance to the hotel was in the middle of some roadworks. The sign was very small and difficult to see. Little things like this would have made our journey so much easier. Also noise from the roadworks woke us in the mornings.

We had the most beautiful nine days in this hotel. Everything was amazing. This hotel is new, modern, and very clean. The view is stunning, even from the second or first floor, as the hotel is a little uphill. The room was clean and spacious. Parking is not bad at all, I was a little afraid of it before we arrived, but there is enough space. The beach was clean, and the area where the hotel is located isn’t too crowded, so it’s absolutely perfect for relaxing. The food was very good, we mostly enjoyed it on the terrace with beautiful sunsets. The most important thing I have to mention is the staff (especially the restaurant staff). They are excellent, professional, and very kind people who made our stay even better. :)
