The location of the hotel is great, in the middle of the Makarska Riviera, on the beach. The rooms are well equipped, with special attention to everything that serves comfort. The breakfast is varied, with many special dishes and carefully prepared from high-quality ingredients. The waiters are very polite, the room ladies are kindly attentive. The receptionists are extremely helpful and always very kind. The Marittimo hotel was the perfect choice for us, we love Makarska and now we have found the ideal accommodation, we hope we will be able to stay there another time.

Location was excellent. Really good selection for breakfast. All the staff were absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful.

Bar could have been open longer in the evenings. 10 o'clock is really early for a holiday resort. This seemed to be the norm in all hotels and restaurants along from the hotel.

Everything! Our second time staying at this property and I really have no complaints. Friendly staff, great restaurant, all the amenities and attractions within the walking distance. Right on the beach and the boardwalk that spans for few kilometers. Multiple beaches within the walking distance.

We had with breakfast included and it was excellent. The service/stuff was helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate. Parking was underground and safe. We were right at the center, walking distance to everything: restaurants, beaches, fresh produce, live music, souvenir/art shops, etc

Just a slight issue with shower door as it comes off the track system.

Excellent choice for breakfast, including hot food cooked to order. Extremely friendly and helpful staff go out of their way to help. Very quiet at night (in low season) a few minutes walk from the centre.

We only booked the basic room, but a chair in the room would have been welcome. Not a complaint, just a suggestion.

The restaurant is A La Carte, but guests of the hotel can book a menu dinner in advance for € 18.00, which is excellent value for 4 courses - limited choice of 2 options for each course, but very generous portions and so tasty. This is a very small hotel, but the staff are so nice and welcoming.

There is very limited parking available at the hotel itself (and none near the hotel), so be prepared to pay € 12 per night for your parking space.

The location is great. It’s right on the beach and on the walking area. The breakfast was good too. The restaurant at the hotel has a great dinner menu as well.

We reserved three rooms and insisted one of them to have sea view .and had confirmations both via email from the hotel and phone conversation with the hotel’s staff. The sea view room was changed to Mountain View room few days before our arrival and it was way too late to change our plans. When we arrived at the hotel, a not very polite or friendly young lady at the reception didn’t even give us a reason for changing our room. Also the rooms are very, very small and the beds are not comfortable. We only had two very flat pillows in each room and had to ask for more. The price is way to high for such hotel and service. The beach is right across the street,but it’s not sand. There are pretty large pebbles and stones, very uncomfortable to walk on or lay on towel.

Everything! These guys are on top of their game. Check in was easy and fast. Rooms are kept very clean. Air conditioning was perfect, kept the entire room as cool as you want it. Being near the Adriatic makes AC a necessity. The shower is amazing-hot water never ran out, even after multiple back-to-back showers. The beach is right out the front door (get there early to secure your preferred spot) with many activities to purchase as extras. I have had bad experiences in Makarska before with people being misleading on the quality of the room, price, facilities and such but not these guys. Everything described in the description of the Maritimo was true and then some. Restaurant at the hotel was amazing. Breakfast was free and a lot of choices. A lot of options for dinner. You can choose by picking from their dinner specials as the guest of the hotel which is different every night( appetizer, salad, main course and the desert) for 20 euros per person with a lot of choices, or you can chose from their menu which is fantastic. We decided to go with specials every night since you get a lot of local specialties. Food was great and the staff war really attentive to all of out needs. You can reserve the parking in their underground garage which we did since parking in Makarska can be a hassle. Make sure you reserve parking ahead of your stay. We had our private space with our name on it so you didn’t have to worry about somebody taking your spot. For 15 euros per day it was worth it. We stayed for 3 days and I haven’t had a need to use my car at all. Everything you need was right next to you( the beach, food, entertainment, shops and anything you can think of). I could go on and on about how great this place was. I have been going to Makarska since early 80’s and it is really dear place to me. In the future I will be using this place again for sure.

Super 👌 Everything was great – the staff, the comfort, the restaurant, and the food. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the sea. There was also parking, which we reserved in advance, and they kindly kept a spot for us – we really appreciated that.

This smaller family-run hotel is exactly what you expect from your holiday. The staff is super kind and polite at every position. Rooms, as well as the whole hotel and surrounding is super clean and smells fresh. Absolutely delicious breakfast with a various choice. Beach is right across the sea-side promenade, 10m from the hotel. The meals at the hotel restaurant are fresh and tasty.
