Absolute gorgeous view, quiet atmosphere, kind and helpful people at the reception.

Everythjng is ok, but in the future it can be a matter of discussion making connection between the hotel and some points of the town by a minibus shuttle according to a clear timetable for the guests price of which could be included into the price of the room because walking along the main riad to the bus stop is not that safe and using taxi service twice a day... a bit expensive.

View was amazing from the balcony and the most spectacular view was from the breakfast place. Bus stop was right outside the hotel, so was convenient for getting to the city in 10 min, however on the way back it was longer to return

The hot tub in the pool area was ice cold. They had it on and running with bubbles and wasting the electricity, yet no one was using it as it was colder then the pool water. I did mentioned to the reception that it needs to be warm in order for people to use it, otherwise they should not run the hot tub.

The staff were so nice and friendly. Loved how the hotel provided beach towels and the view was lovely from the bar and restaurant

The gym was very small and looked to be used as a storage room too. There was also a class going on in the mornings so felt like we were in their way and couldn't use the equipment or space we wanted because the locals were using it. Also, didn't like that there was absolutely no water provided to guests anywhere in the hotel, there was even a sign at breakfast that could not fill your water bottle with the water there. very disappointing, especially since the hotel is at the highest point and the walk to the shop for water is down over 400 steps. Prices at pool bar very high too. €10 for 2 small cans of soft drinks.

The room was spacious, comfortable bed. The installations were good, the view was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was included and had varied options, and the quality was good. On the day of checkout, they let us stay in the hotel and enjoy the pool and facilities until the time of our flight.

If you don't have a car, is a little bit tricky to get there. I get that being high in the city makes the amazing views possible, but it's a long way up through some stairs, so something to keep in mind.

I have to say that we were so impressed with this hotel, located right at the top of Dubrovnik’s hilly landscape, with breathtaking views of the town, lakes and backdrops - during the day and evening. This is great value for money, within a city that has high charges for a hotel, with a breakfast buffet, breakfast dinner (located at the top of the hotel with nice views), indoor pool, jacuzzi, outdoor pool and bar (which also serves food), ironing room, bar and attentive reception service. We even managed to get our room cleaned at 7pm which was such a plus as we forgot to leave the sign outside. We want to thank the hotel for making our stay so special and will be visiting again!

It was mostly great but perhaps ensuring there is an iron in every room and the ability to cast from smart devices to TV

All staff very friendly. Plenty of choice for breakfast, cereals,hot food, fresh fruit, pancakes,yoghurt and smoothies, pastries, cold cheese and meats. Evening meal either a la carte or buffet style. Amazing views looking out over the sea from room balcony, fabulous sunsets from restaurant and bar. If your budget allows stay in a premium room with a balcony view, most definitely worth the extra money. Even though the hotel was full, hardly ever heard any noise at night. Reception on floor 0, restaurant upstairs to level 1, and rooms down from reception to -1 to -6.

Sun loungers by a section of the pool didn't allow much room to walk past. No milk automatically supplied in the rooms, but bar staff were always willing to supply a small jug whenever needed.

Lovely clean room, pool was lovely.. Drinks were expensive (€4.80 for a Coke Zero) but staff were friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff. Gym was good, and loved the indoor pool! Great views from the hotel!

Didn’t like the cost of drinks, thought the outdoor pool was a little small. Taxis into the old town cost around €20 euros which for ten mi it’s we thought was a little expensive and there are no other restaurants on easy walking distance of the hotel.

Overlooking the city of Dubrovnik with fantastic sea views was wonderful. The pool was surprisingly good - clean and well-equipped with beds to sit on as well as a pool drinks/snack bar and plenty of parasols. The breakfast was great with superb attention to detail - better than any of the other hotels we stayed in on this trip. The bar brasserie overlooking the city for lunch was a bonus in addition to the main dining room for breakfast and dinner. But what set this hotel apart was how helpful ALL the staff were. We did not have one casual or offhand experience - they were great!

The only issue for us, because of our ages (68 and 76) was getting to the pool. While the hotel has two GREAT lifts - and we've all experienced bad ones - there were two flights of stairs, not served by lifts, down to the pool which DID NOT HAVE A HANDRAIL. That wouldn't bother most travellers, but it was a problem for us. We held on to each other and were very careful.

The views from this hotel are incredible! The rooms are lovely and spacious! There are really regular buses from the hotel to the old town and back and not expensive, if you buy the tickets at the hotel they are cheaper, about €1.70. The evening food was okay with variety each night. Staff were mainly friendly and helpful.

Can’t take your own water into the restaurant but have to pay for drinks, should offer tap water.

Finding your hotel in a foreign country can be challenging but there was no such problem with Hotel Adria. Not only is it on a major arterial road, the entrance itself is easy to find and allows you to quickly exit the stream of traffic into a sizeable car park and parking garage. Reception staff manage check-ins and check-outs quickly and efficiently and are very responsive to guest requests and enquiries. Our room was just as described and more - the view from our balcony quite awe-inspiring, with a 180 degree panorama of Dubrovnik below. The standard of room presentation was excellent - spotlessly clean and fresh, the atmosphere bright, light and airy. Food and beverage throughout the hotel is of an excellent standard. We had excellent evening meals, good well-priced wines and topnotch breakfasts during our 2-night stay. Ivo, Angela and Paula in the restaurant were exceptionally helpful and friendly as well as professional in their service delivery. It was a pleasure staying at this hotel.

Nothing, though the Old Town is some distance away so be prepared to Uber or taxi there and back from the hotel. Fares are reasonable and the journey can be fairly quick.
