My stay was absolutely faultless to be honest. Firstly, the location is absolutely stunning! I got the friendliest of greetings from the reception staff, they got me checked in quickly and were very informative. My room exceeded my expectations, modern style and incredibly clean. The view from my balcony too was next level. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had so many options and the quality of the food was great. Everything was so tasty and the dessert options and flavours were far better than what I expected. All staff I encountered were so friendly and the TUI rep in guest relations (I don't know his name unfortunately but he had long hair!) really helped make my stay even better by giving me some great recommendations for trips that were solo traveller friendly and he was was very helpful. The port was close to the hotel which meant getting a ferry to Dubrovnik was so easy (and cheap) - the journey was around 30 minutes and cost just 5.10 euros each way. The local taxis are expensive though and charge tourist prices so try and get an UBER if you want to save half the price. The beach at the front of the hotel was perfect too. Crystal clear water, plenty of beds to choose from and again, the scenery was like something you'd see on a postcard. All in all, I'd give 11/10 for my stay if I could and will 100% be returning next year based on such an amazing experience and stay. Thank you.

The property is very nicely located front of three beach on small island just outside of Dubrovnik. The all inclusive option is great value for money. Many choices on meals. The reception lady, Eva, was super friendly and she organised a nice card for us and cake for our wedding anniversary. Thank you

Quiet and peaceful location perfect to relax from. Lovely pool, close to the beach, and some good exercise classes and entertainment. Personally we loved the food. If you are looking to go to another country and just eat bog standard English fare then you will have more limited options. If you enjoy a range of fish meats, carbs and vegetables you will be fine. Limited vegan and veggie options from what I could see, especially on the protein side. Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Especially the beds. Showers were great. Rooms were separate enough from the main building to prevent excess noise. Went to the spa and had a wonderful massage. Lovely and capable therapists.

Nothing really. The hotels downside and upside is its location. The island is beautiful but requires access via a ferry so ensure your arrival and departure times match up with the boats, or speak to the hotel to arrange a transfer in advance.

Kalamota ( Kolocep) is a wonderful Island and perfect sea! Hotel is so great, all served food amazing and delicious. Rooms are cleaning every day. All personnel were perfect! We will come again!

We, 4 couples were in Tui Blue for 5 nights. Hotel is wonderful. In kolocep Island. In front of the beach. All inclusive. With excellent food and service. Various kinds of fish and meat, deserts, fruits. Our huge thanks to the chef. He is great! Separate thanks to the wonderful staff of hotel.starting from receptionists, waiters, baristas! Everyone friendly, smiling and happy❤️Guys u are amazing all! Room was cleaned every day.the sea and the beach clean. We will surely recommend this wonderful place to everyone

Hotel does not have elevator. It has several villas and it was a bit difficult climbing on the stairs all the time. Most of the guests were +50 i think. It would be better to add some entertaining programs to your schedule for younger people to attract them in your hotel. We were 8 so we could not be bored so much.

A Relaxing Escape at TUI BLUE Kalamota Island I recently stayed at the TUI BLUE Kalamota Island with a friend for a girl's trip, and our stay was spectacular! It exceeded our expectations in more ways than one. Arrival and Transfer: Arriving later in the evening, we booked a transfer from the airport to the hotel. Though not cheap, the journey was smooth and easy, setting a positive tone for our stay. Location and Ambiance: Located on the tranquil Kalamota Island, the hotel offers spectacular views and a peaceful atmosphere. The island itself has limited entertainment options, with just a few bars and restaurants, but it was perfect for the relaxing trip we had in mind. Accommodations and Amenities: We stayed for 2 nights in this all-inclusive resort, which truly offers everything needed for a relaxing stay. The rooms were lovely, and the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking both the bay and the swimming pool. Dining and Drinks: The food was incredible and varied, which is not common for an all-inclusive resort. The resort offers 3 bars, and though we mainly enjoyed wine and prosecco, the drinks were pretty good. The only downside was the lack of nightly entertainment. The hotel seems to target an older crowd (50+), and while there's live music at dinner and some games like bingo, we would have appreciated some music to dance to or a disco to make the evenings livelier. Hotel Grounds and Activities: The hotel grounds were lovely and well-kept. The swimming pool and easy access to the beach were very convenient, with plenty of sun beds available around the pool and on the beach. The pool bar offers snacks and drinks, adding to the convenience. Accessibility: One thing to note is that the villas are situated on a hill, with no elevators. Our room was on the 2nd floor, so it's important to consider this when booking, especially for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs.

Had an amazing stay at the TUI Kalamota - stayed there to celebrate our enegement and had a fantastic time. There was always live music on and a variation of foods at dinner. The Island was lovely, so peaceful and picturesque. You could get fresh towels every day for the beach/swimming pool. We opted to pay 25 euros one of the days for a bali bed this came with processo and meant you could relax without worry of where the sun loungers were positioned for the sun. There were things to do on the island like going to the other side to see the other hotel. As well as a boat tour that took use to see the blue caves, green caves and one of the other nearby islands, this was a definite highlight of our trip! You can also take the ferry to the mainland and spend the day in Dubrovnik which we would highly recommend. Overall an amazing relaxing time, would recommend to people who want an escape from reality and to slow down.

If the options for gluten free were a little bit more obvious, and possible some more gluten free desserts. If you do not have an allergy or intolerance then you will have lots of options. I did still manage to eat something every meal however it became slightly repetitive.

The location is fabulous …. So close to the hustle of Dubrovnik and then an oasis of calm just 30 minutes away to the island. The staff were outstanding and so helpful. Food was of a good standard and the buffet area so clean being completely wiped down after each service.

It’s not so much didn’t like but 2 things to be aware of… if you had any type of mobility issues or weren’t of a level of fitness getting to the rooms is quite a challenge. Also be aware although it is adults only the beach where the sun beds are is a public beach and it is full of kids. So if you are expecting a quiet sleep on the beach that would be difficult but if you’re happy to people watch it’s great. Also on some occasions the general public make it on to the beach sunbeds or even those with real cheek come into the pool area. This is one area where things could be improved - more staff to monitor this area and even serve drinks would have been nice. In previous hotels there’s always a couple of beach guys fulfulling this role which works well.

The hotel is perfectly located directly on the beach. This is a simple hotel holiday, the rooms are clean and spacious. The buffet food has plenty of choice. We had some fun evenings in the bar when there was live music. The staff really make this hotel special. On arrival we were disappointed with the location of our room. We spoke to the lovely Iva on reception and she arranged a change for us. Throughout our stay Iva was a star, so friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. We should also mention Peter, who served us in the restaurant, a true professional. My top tip is to always choose from the cooking station. Great omelettes in the morning and fresh fish and meat in the evening. The chefs (Asian I think) were friendly and enthusiastic about the food. Our room was in block 5 , a climb of 100 steps to work off all that food!

Would benefit from a sunny sunset bar spot. There is a great outside bar but in the evening it is in the shade!

We got upgraded - from room to the apartment, which was a nice gesture indeed. The food is amazing, and the restaurant offers a very, very broad selection of various dishes, local, international, mediterranean, continental - all kudos to the chefs.

What I disliked has nothing to do with the resort but rather with guests who, e.g., kept feet on the tables in the lounges or brought drinks in the water on the beach. I understand everyone wants to relax and enjoy, but a certain grade of consideration for others and the environment should exist.
