Exceptionally modern and spacious rooms steps from old town Split! This hotel has every convenience. A modern elevator, EXCELLENT air conditioning (a rarity almost everywhere in Europe and much appreciated during the heat wave this summer), large rooms with gorgeous views and charming terraces, by Europe's standards, absolutely palatial bathroom with large walk in shower, all newly installed. We didn't try the breakfast but peeked in on the small dining room....it looked pretty typical. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet but still very close to great restaurants and only a few charming cobblestone blocks from Diocletian's Palace. We loved it!

You will have to walk up a few long blocks uphill to get to the hotel. Cars cannot drive in the narrow streets.

Fabulous on so many levels! Great location, less than 10 min walk from the seafront, promenade, shops and attractions. Plenty of restaurants to suit all budgets, with fresh seafood, meats, local dishes and pizza readily available. The hotel itself is only 9 rooms and still looks brand new (built 2019). Room 9 was a good sized loft room with lovely views from the 4 windows. Very comfortable large bed with mini bar/fridge, kettle, large TV, safe, USB charging ports as well as plug sockets and air con ( which we didn’t use). The bathroom was a good size too with a fantastic walk in shower, choice of shower heads and quality toiletries( Molten Brown); there were even bathrobes and slippers available. We can’t speak highly enough of the staff at the hotel, everyone was so friendly, happy to help and professional. The breakfast is served between 7am -10am daily in a lovely garden room, with a selection of cereals, meats, fruits, yogurt, breads and juices. The chef will cook eggs, bacon and sausages to order, which were delicious. Wi-fi was strong and available throughout the hotel. There are plenty of supermarkets and ATMs throughout the town and there’s nothing better than a stroll along the promenade after dinner, with an ice cream (only €2). Can recommend the little beaches you can find if you continue the path through the park after the yachting harbour, just lovely. Can also recommend a sunset sailing trip (€50 p.p.) as a great way to see the coast from a different perspective. Excellent time of year to visit, still quiet (except when a cruise ship docks), excursions starting up again and wonderful weather compared to the UK. We had a late arrival (11pm) and had informed the hotel who sent us through easy to follow instructions on how to get in, no need to worry.

Be aware that the hotel is located in the old town where cars and taxis can’t go. Ask your taxi driver to give you directions/Google map it because it’s a warren of quaint streets and on arrival, it’s easy to get lost. However, the locals are very friendly and will be willing to point you in the right direction! We only needed to walk about 200 metres / 7 mins from taxi to hotel.

As it happened, airport pickup easy with speedy drive into old town, 5 min.cobblestone alley walk to Stine. Some pin after hours entry confusion.Easy phonecall solution. Top floor room spectacular, inside and outside. Next days, breakfast good. Mini-bar in room stocked with small water bottles, extra charge. Personnel really wonderful. Renata and Kashmir were friendly and helpful, beyond the line of duty. 5 min. downhill walk to waterfront and attractions. Would be happy to go back , for the whole experience. I bet you would be too. In

I only had a little breakfast on the last day, but it was very nice and simple. My bag did not arrive after I already missed one night due to a delayed ITA flight, causing me to miss my flight to Split. Though I had to pay for the room on the missed night, the proprietor was kind to wait for my bag the second day. She also arranged for her colleague, Kasmir, to pick me up from the airport. He also helped me find my guided tour location after picking me up. Renatta also asked if Kasmir would be willing to drive me from Split to Dubrovnik upon my request for help in this regard. We had a very pleasant drive and he pulled over a few times to allow me to take a good photo of the scenery. He also helped me get to my hotel once in Dubrovnik. This was all above and beyond...

I have no complaints. There was nothing there except for the reception and guest rooms, and a small breakfast area. However, the location was exceptional in my view, within walking distance to everything in the historic part of the city.

The location is near the old town, making it easy to walk and stroll around the charming streets. We were traveling with a toddler and had our own car. Fortunately, we were able to park in the nearest parking lot and walk just 5 minutes to reach the hotel. The room was cleaned daily, and with the card provided, we could access the private front door, just like a traditional hotel. Communication via WhatsApp for check-in was smooth. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage, allowing us to start exploring the old town immediately. The helpful Kazimir took our luggage to our room when it was ready and texted us. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed for 2 nights in room no. 1, which is located behind the reception on the ground level, near the entrance and breakfast area. If you are a light sleeper like me, you will hear everything when people come in and out or talk to reception. Despite placing a "Do Not Disturb" sign, it seems to go unnoticed. It would be helpful to have a larger sign indicating that guests are still in the room to ensure more privacy and quiet. This is definitely something that should be considered.

A modern, large and spotlessly clean room in the small quiet hotel in the old town of Split. Spacious bathroom with all amenities. Good selection of breakfast food and drinks, The staff was friendly, always smiling and ready to help. The hotel is 2 min from many tourist landmarks, shops, fast food places and restaurants. The airport is around 30 min by car/taxi. Good Wi-Fi, large TV with a good selection of 100+ programs (no Netflix or similar services available). We were upgraded to the top floor room for free and enjoyed a beautiful view of Split from our window.

Everything was great, though no hotel parking is available (plenty of public parking nearby)

From the friendly gentleman at check-in to the lovely lady at check out (Renata), our stay was brief yet outstanding. We got a little turned around but the gentleman that checked us in (didn’t get his name) was so nice and understanding and stayed later for us! Parking is difficult in the area and he offered his spot for us to park! That was so nice. Renata gave us great recommendations the next morning and she continued to prove how amazing the people of Split really are. We were also impressed with how CLEAN and MODERN the room was. 10/10.

You can only get to the hotel through pedestrian streets. There is about a half mile walk from where we parked to the hotel (or where you would get dropped off by taxi/uber). Just be prepared to walk with your luggage through cobblestoned streets to get to the hotel. Worth it though.

Renata and Kazimir were fantastic hosts, very caring and helpful. They did amazing job, exceeded my expectations. Residence Stine is located very close to the coast, to Riva and is situated in the Old town. Our air conditioned room was spacious and extremely clean (towels changed every day), the bed very comfortable, everything looks modern and new. Check-in and check-out were easy. Our breakfast was simple but delicious. Overall, we were totally satisfied of the Residence Stine experience. Highly recommend !

Kazimir, Renata, & Mira are a wonderful team. Most warm welcome which is really special after a long day of travel. Answered all of our questions with accurate information. We could walk everywhere from this location comfortably. The place is immaculately kept. Check-in & check-out was uncomplicated. Breakfast had a plentiful variety with good presentation. Tasty coffee & enjoyed the flavoured waters. The staff made all the difference in our stay.

The staff is very friendly and the location is excellent, within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit in Split. The room was spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed, we stayed on the top floor and had amazing views. Breakfast was delicious and we liked that you can order eggs or sausage and bacon to have it prepared for you.
