Hotel comprising of several buildings in the charming old town of Split. We had a very spacious room with a balcony (as a free upgrade) in what they still call 'the breakfast house', even though breakfast can nowadays be had (with coupons) at Restaurant Bajamonti at the Republic Square There are far worse places to have breakfast, it is at a splendid location, only a couple of minutes walking from the room. Personnel was super helpful and friendly, helped us with carrying the luggage to our room form reception (a walk of a couple of minutes). Parking can be done 20 meters from reception. We could not find a free spot initially, but the personnel moved one of their cars for us, which was very kind. We also enjoyed a really good massage (not included), as Divota doubles as a spa. Wifi was excellent.

Don't forget to put a parking session on in one of the parking apps (we used Bmove), as parking is paid as of 7 in the morning. We were just a little too late (as we arrived sunday evening, when parking was free), so got a ticket on Monday morning, which costed us only as much as a day ticket (12 euro) and some administration costs (66 cents). It had to be paid at the post office, but that is right next to the parking lot. All n all not a big deal.

Divota Apartment Hotel is in an excellent location just on the edge of Split old town but away from the noisy nightlife. The hotel is a multi site facility with rooms / apartments located close together on or close to Plinarska Street. Our room located at 27 Plinarska was modern, spacious, clean and had aircon which was still needed in September. We had a balcony which was very useful for sitting out on an evening and drying clothes / swimwear. The pictures The breakfast, which is included, is lovely and a great start to the day. Breakfast is served at the Bajamonti, restaurant about 5 mins walk away in the Old Town located in the Prokurative Republic square with sea and port views. The staff at Divota were extremely helpful and our room included a QR code giving helpful tips for your stay.

The only very small negative was having to carry our suitcase luggage up five flights of stairs to our room. There was no lift. This would be no problem with a carry on case.

Fantastic location in a quiet part of the old town - a sort walking distance from the seafront and city centre. The apartment in a traditional building was modern, bright and very comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful, and breakfast in a nearby restaurant was excellent.

There was no lift, which was not a problem for us but could be a consideration for others. The property felt like a genuine, traditional Croatian home and that more than compensated for the absence of a lift.

Location is excellent. Few minutes to old town and many restaurants etc. Room itself was a bit small but well fitted out and bed was comfortable, so very happy with room. Breakfast in linked restaurant was good, not only was the food good but it is situated on a scenic square looking down to waterfront.

Space outside was minimal, basically 2 chairs in passage to door which another property walked past. Nothing like the space suggested by all the photos on the site. No chance of putting the drying rack for the washing machine outside unless it was on top of chairs. Feel this was sub standard for this room and not in keeping with rating and price charged. Check the outside space for your actual room before booking. Other than this it was great.

The room was lovely, clean and bright. The small kitchen immaculate and great to have a washing machine in the bathroom too. We had an apartment with a terrace on either side of the stairs up to it. Loungers on one side and seating area on the other. It was ok the old town and central to Split. We also tried some meditation in the Spa with Rainie, she was great! The staff were very quick to answer any queries.

The apartment wasn’t at the location of the Divota Hotel but along some side streets. It was a little difficult to find our way back the first night. The steps up to our apartment were steep and could go with a hand rail. The ‘landing’ at the top of the steps was quite short but at least the door opened inward.

A great location to explore Split - just a few minutes walk from the Old Town centre. We loved the breakfast vouchers for a nearby cafe/restaurant, which had epic views across the Adriatic and made for a fantastic start to a day's exploration. The hotel itself has a quirky charm with all the mod cons, and was clean and well-equipped. Staff were very helpful and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and places to see.

The apartment was lovely, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We appreciated having a washing machine and dishwasher. Just a short walk from the City Square, it was very quiet. The staff were consistently pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was at a lovely restaurant two minutes walk away in a beautiful square. The choice and quality were excellent and there was a good view of the harbour.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We realised on the day of arrival that we would arrive an hour earlier than expected and we only let them know in the morning but they managed to have the room ready for our early arrival. They were also very helpful on check-in as they recommended places to visit and were very helpful with our luggage. The room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious in a lovely quiet courtyard a few minutes walk into the centre of Split. All of the little details that we might want from the room had been thought of. For example, there was space for unpacking two suitcases, a coffee machine, tea and water provided, and nice big bottles of shower gel! It was such a nice retreat from the busy streets of Split whilst also being very close to the city centre. The breakfast included was also excellent. It was provided by a restaurant in a nearby square where you could sit outside and enjoy the view which was a great start to the day. Overall, we couldn't have asked for more from our stay at Divota Apartment Hotel!

There was nothing we didn't like!

From the time of our booking to our leaving, the staff especially Lucija, reached out to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They booked both our airport transfers and made sure our room was arranged to our liking. The hotel is made of beautifully designed rooms in quaint buildings in a quiet part of the old town. Location was perfect for everything! I don't think I have stayed in a hotel where the rooms have been so carefully thought out. Nespresso machine, rain shower where you actually could wash your hair and the third bed/couch made a great sitting room. They even had Netflix, plus thank you to the guy who forgot to log out of his HBO account. Breakfast coupons for an amazing restaurant on the water just minutes away. Also, they have a spa!

I loved everything, but if I could make one request, it would be for a makeup mirror. They had a huge well lit mirror in the bathroom, but when your eyes go, they go.

loved the room that was clean and they upgraded me to a room with a balcony so that was a nice treat. the bed was comfortable and I loved the sustainable details throughout. staff was friendly and always welcoming. breakfast was very good, a nice change from the usual ham, cheese and eggs that I like but after a few days, you start craving avocado toast, which is what they offered w some acai, which hit the spot for some healthy stuff. also, the view from the breakfast spot (a hotel nearby they partner with until they offer their own breakfasts), is an ocean view that's just fantastic. service was friendly and I ordered sparkling water that he said he would need to charge me for but the server ended up saying don't worry about it so that was a nice gesture. the hotel was very conveniently located near the palace and other restaurants and shops, and the waterfront! I would recommend this place to anyone.

the only thing is b/c they're located in the old city, streets are tiny and parking is very tough, or non-existent. the staff directed me to a lot nearby but upon arrival, it was full with no sign of anyone leaving. when I called, the staff told me to wait for leavers but I was exhausted after a long drive and didn't want to wait. so I looked for and found street parking nearby and didn't bother logging my huge suitcase all the way. just brought what I needed for that night and got lucky w free parking instead. it would be good if they could secure parking for those cars like their partnership w neighboring hotel for breakfast, maybe give option of buying a parking space in a nearby hotel instead of having guests look for parking by themselves. that would be a helpful service.
