Our stay at Hotel San Giorgio was absolutely magical. The owner greeted us each morning with cappuccinos and a warm smile, making us feel like family. The staff was wonderfully friendly and gave us fantastic tips on local beaches and things to do. We were frankly excited to go back to the hotel at the end of our day(s), because we knew how incredible it was to interact with the staff. The food and wine at the hotel's restaurant were simply top-notch, and the historic charm of the building added so much character to our visit.

If we had to pick anything, the Wi-Fi in our room was a little spotty. But honestly, we barely noticed because we were too busy enjoying the moment and the beautiful surroundings. This is a place where you come to get away from emails and work.

Roberto. He is an extraordinary man and runs the hotel and resturant with the utmost care and joy. He was incredibly welcoming , helpful, warm and genuine and witnessed him giving the same attention he gave us to every guest. He loves his island and his work and it shows. And his team made our stay so easy, welcoming us early, providing local knowledge on island activities and helping us get to and from Vus. He is a gem and a great leader too. The location right off the port was ideal too and the restaurant location at night is stunning.

The rooms are large with great light but could use a refresh in decor to match the gorgeous heritage building and Roberto's enthusiastic hospitality.

I loved the location. And the hotel staff Tamara, Maria and Irina went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and had everything I needed. From ideas of what to see and making arrangements for me I felt so cared for. The hotel manager, Nevenka even took the time to find a yoga instructor for me and walk me to the location so I’d know where to go the next morning. Thank you all. As a solo traveler I felt very seen. ❤️🙏🏻🌟

The hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location right by the marina in Vis. It’s in a beautiful part of town, quite spotlessly clean and with a great selection of local artists shops and restaurants. The best restaurant however was at the hotel itself. They served the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere in the world, and I’ve done a lot of travelling. The food was also superb, the best I’ve eaten in Croatia and many other countries! We made a massive mistake not going back the next night as the restaurant we went to that day was terrible in comparison! The staff were super friendly, genuinely so, and really know all about the region, the tours you could do and the local wines. We couldn’t have had a better stay at a better place!

This is my second time to San Giorgio and it was exceptional yet again!! It’s the most beautiful hotel. The details of everything are immaculate. The staff are beautiful, the owner is amazing and the location is incredible! The breakfast included is delicious and the restaurant for dinner was the nicest meal we had for our whole time in Vis. It was our honeymoon and they had our petals on our bed and bought us flowers and gave us a bottle of champagne! I will definitely be going back again for a third time!

What a glorious boutique hotel in a truely hidden gem. Elegant and epitomising quiet luxury, not only are the rooms comfortable but also stylish. The venue as a whole has the same aesthetic. Breakfast in the terrace is delightful and the choices are superb with fresh herbs from the garden. Yes, bathrooms are small but I found it still well laid out and functional. The minibar and coffee machine are a welcome extra and the bed was super comfortable. Service was exceptional, and I highly suggest following recommendations from the staff; they know the island and the vistas so well. I actually found parking very easy and had no issues getting to the hotel though Vis is a historical city so expect cobble stone pathways. It’s part of the charm!

Leaving

The hosts were extremely welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful. The staff were excellent, professional and friendly. The breakfast was superb and we were spoilt for choice. Lovely hotel and lovely people, dining in the restaurant garden with fabulous food was a highlight for my wife and I.

Only a minor thing, it would have been nice to be able to get a coffee from the hotel bar during the day and sit in the beautiful hotel garden. The Wi-Fi in the room we were in wasn’t great.

We had a magical stay at Hotel San Giorgio. We arrived by ferry at night and woke up in paradise. The staff were so kind and helpful: my luggage was lost and they located it and got it sent over on the first ferry. The breakfast was wonderful, the location superb and the hospitality first rate. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to return!

Our room needed some very tiny fixes - a missing lampshade, a baseboard that had come loose - these did not impair our stay whatsoever, but could use a quick visit from a handyman!

This boutique hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Photos cannot do it justice because the combination of location, exceptional accommodations, the combination of old ruins and modern furnishings, impeccably and tastefully arranged, topped with charlming owners - who literally wish to get you “the Moon and the stars” - is just incredible.

Every single thing was perfect! Just keep it up!!!

The hotel Is in a beautiful old stone building in a very nice location. Near the sea but a quieter part of the old town. We had two rooms, a standard one, which was nice, with a separate lounge area with a sofa and a small bathroom. The other room was at the top and was more spacious with a bigger bathroom and a lovely view. Breakfast was nice and the owners and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also had bikes and free beach towels that we could borrow.
