Amazing hotel overlooking the harbor in Zadar's old town. Plenty of on-site outdoor parking. Follow your vehicles navigation to Trg Tri Bunara 1 which is next to the hotel. There are orange cones on the side and a yellow barrier in the ground blocking your way. Walk to the hotel desk and they will drop the barrier so you can enter. Street in front of the hotel belongs to the hotel so you can stop at the front door. We splurged and reserved the fifth-floor suite. You have the whole floor to yourself. Very nice with an amazing view and an outdoor tub. Start putting water in it early as it fills very slowly. Bottle of champagne was a nice touch from the hotel. Staff was amazing. Very helpful and caring. Breakfast was the best we have had. Made to order eggs, omelettes, and pancakes with an impressive spread of meats, cheeses and vegetables. You are in a great spot to explore the old city and enjoy the beauty of Zadar. Highly recommend.

The Hotel was beautiful, view was fabulous, the staff were super friendly and the location in Zadar was excellent, we could walk all around zadar without any issue. Early checkin was requested and they couldn’t accommodate the time we asked for as was too early but they checked us in stored our bags and rang when it was ready, they also stored our bags on leaving day too and let us use the toilets, lounges if needed until we needed to leave for airport. Very accommodating. 😊 thank you to all the staff. Oh and you can do the whole of zadar in a weekend easy, so if staying longer book some trips, and sunset is stunning. 🤩

The only thing was we had been awake with a child for 21 hours straight and really needed a quiet room, unfortunately the bar across the road played music loud until 1pm, we had to wait until after that to sleep, we were exhausted, such a pitty and not the hotels fault, but did spoil one night and day after as we were really tired still. Other night was quiet though which was a relief. Only one suggestion would be for the price you pay I think the extra £20euros for spa should be included.

The hotel is in a lovely location, we have stayed in Relais and Chateaux before so our expectations were quite high. Reception staff were superb, very knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms quite luxurious and very cool. A gorgeous building with a lovely wine bar opposite. Reception even organised a takeout breakfast for our very early flight. Lovely touch.

The breakfast in the restaurant wasn't anything special. Had far better breakfasts at many hotels. Staff (young girl looking at herself in the mirror a lot) was also a bit off the mark in the breakfast room, not very attentive, took one order rather than both orders so we didn't eat at the same time. Not a lot of choice either, had to ask for more tea and coffee, just got the impression she wasn't interested. Also didn't appreciate seeing a 'TIPS' jar at the exit of the restaurant. A small pool or lounge area would have been amazing in the high temperatures during our stay, but can understand there may be rules in old town Zadar regarding pools etc.

1- Great location inside the historic town that classified under unesco and near to all attractions 2- very friendly and helpful staffs specially the respectful gentleman who checked me in the hotel and helped me with parking and preferences 3- clean place

1- Smell of corridors 2- old and too soft Mattress 3- shower area floor tiles require filling between the joints. Gaps between the joints represent sharp edges that may harm the toes or the feet

The location of Bastion Heritage Hotel is ideal for exploring all that Zadar has to offer. Situated within the historic walls of Zadar Old Town it is walking distance to all landmarks and the sea. We were able to immerse ourselves in the vibrant culture and history of this enchanting destination with ease. Our room was spacious, very clean, and we had stunning views overlooking the sea. Sunrise was especially beautiful. The spiral staircase stood out immediately, adorned with original stone walls, and was a stunning focal point within the hotel's interior. It evoked a sense of history and grandeur and I preferred ascending and descending the stairs instead of taking the lift. The staff's exceptional service exceeded our expectations, leaving a lasting impression on our experience. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful recommendations for exploring the city, every interaction was characterised by genuine warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect, and for that, we are truly grateful. A special thanks to Marina and Ivan for their outstanding service and attention to detail throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. In summary, our stay at Bastion Heritage Hotel Zadar exceeded all expectations and left us with memories to cherish for a lifetime. This hotel is the perfect choice for an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return.

The location is perfect for the old town, walking on the sea front and yet just on the edge of the busy action away from the intensity of the town where you can view the sea. It is beautifully decorated in old world charm - missing in so many hotels. Linen tablecloths, soft towels and superb breakfasts. Yet it has all the modern technology discreetly working behind the scenes to ensure comfort and efficiency. Very clean and nothing was a trouble in assisting me or answering my questions.

High-end hotel room located in the heart of the old town, just steps away from the Sea Organ. Very courteous staff (especially Marina), as you would expect from such a quality hotel. Very comfortable bedding and all the amenities you could hope for.

We kinda splurged lotsa money on the room and private boat island tour, but hey, it was our choice to do so.

Gorgeous quiet rooms. Bed was wonderful. Great location. Nice breakfast options. The front desk is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our nightcap in the bar—well made cocktails and super bartender.

The housekeepers were exceptionally loud outside our door every morning. It woke us up literally every day we were there, and we found it horribly interrupting to our sleep. The gym is outside the spa, and it consists of a treadmill. And it’s hot. I had a manicure and pedicure in the spa, and the technician who performed my service was really lovely, but it took over two hours for my service, no shellac, and marginal at best. The room didn’t have great light and was the size of a closet so I couldn’t really blame the technician. Get spa service elsewhere.

Everything and very well priced great location and fantastic restaurant

It was difficult to find they need to provide better directions, the location and parking is Top just difficult for first timers to find….for example it’s just across from the teatro hotel turn right and call them and they will open the gate remotely, we had to park walk around find it and then back to the car and park, not a big deal but this small improvement would help when you have been driving for a few hours and want to get to your hotel without hunting for it…..

Excellent location and very beautiful heritage building. Very clean hotel and decent but simple breakfast. The staff were lovely, especially the young lady on evening reception who was really helpful and friendly. Our room had great view of the old town square below. Very enjoyable to sit out at the terrace with a glass of wine taking in the atmosphere.

The bed was not that comfortable, the mattress could do with replacing. Also the bed linens were awkward, we had two single duvets instead of one double. There were a few small details that could be easilly fixed such as no electrial outlet on one side of the bed, a cheap broken toilet roll holder, a tiny wardrobe and a fairly bare room with just a small dressing table, another table would have been very useful.
