Location, beautiful food, great pool bar staff and reception team very helpful and polite. Great pool and facilities

Beds very much need new mattress and new carpets could feel springs and carpet stained should be replaced each year

Clean and comfortable (although in need of an update). Reception staff friendly and efficient. Good location an easy 20 minute walk along the seafront to the old town. Large pool, wide choice of food at breakfast (fruit, different types of bread and cakes, hot food like eggs and bacon, cereals, cheese, ham etc.).

Too pricey for the quality and service provided. The rooms need some maintenance (stained carpets and old air conditioning units). Glasses were not replaced once in our room and I ended up having to wash them! Staff members were really unfriendly, with the exception of the reception staff. Rules regarding not putting towels on sun loungers to “reserve” them were not enforced so people would place their towels at 8am and not appear until after lunch. This was annoying as there was not enough space for everyone around the pool. Twice we were forced to go to the beach instead (the beach was dirty and packed so not a valid alternative). Also there were guests playing loud music by the pool and the staff did nothing. The only coffee at breakfast was from a vending machine and not good quality.

I travelled with my mom over 70 years old. It was very comfortable because the beach is literally under the hotel swimming pool and it was easy to go forth and back. Hotel stuff was extremely friendly on reception, at the hotel bar (really good coffee). Also cleaning service was perfect.

Only disadvantage is the bath in the bathroom, when I had to help my mom to step out from the shower, it is high and for older people it might be tricky. Also, every night came a big group of tourists (different nationalities, they only stayed one night having dinner and the breakfast). For those that order 1/2 board, you have to sit only on dedicated tables during the dinner time because the rest is reserved. It is not a critics just for information.

The location was perfect. .quiet.. next to the beach.. close to amenities but not in the centre (very noisy and busy city centre). Beach is at the back of the hotel and easy to go for an early swimm. Nice cafés around and good ice cream easy to walk around and have a nice view of the coast while having a coffee or a drink Breakfast was good. Lightling in room not fully working...mouldy showers...old towels.. old mattress. It's an old building with some investment in refurbishment, which is appreciated. However, simple things such as good cleaning and investing in towels are needed. I guess if we come back, it is because the location mainly

While exterior esthetics are a bit dated, this hotel is better than we thought. Checkin was easy. Parking was easy, and included. We had a very big room with sea view; a suite in fact; not sure if we were upgraded. There were 3 balconies. The balconies have a kind of tile screen which looks weird from outside but probably makes sense in the hot sun. Air conditioning was good. Bed was good, 2 different big pillows. Bathroom nice, shower in tub; you do have to step into the tub for the shower, maybe a little difficult if your mobility is reduced. Pool area was very nice; a very big round pool, saltwater, and almost warm. From the pool area you can walk down to the beach, by crossing one street. The beach is pebbles, as is usual around here. You can have drinks or lunch by the pool. Breakfast was in a big room, also possible outside, weather permitting. This hotel is also used for groups; hence the breakfast room being large. We didn't do dinner here. Only thing I didn't really like about breakfast: despite the 3 coffee machines, I couldn't find a larger more diluted coffee. Even the lungo seemed like a strong espresso. 15-20 minute walk into downtown old Zadar, depending on your speed, mostly flat. There are Ubers and taxis. Easy drive back to the airport on last day. If you want to be able to rest and enjoy pool or beach, while being able to walk into town for the afternoon and evening, this is a very good place. It doesn't have any medieval charm, but it has all the modern comforts!

Lovely hotel! Comfortable bed, good shower, nice sized room. Pool area had plenty of great sunbeds with adjustable face protectors. The pool was good, could do with a little maintenance but that didn’t spoil the experience. Nice reception area, large airy dining room. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault any of them. Good choice at breakfast, had some lunches around the pool area and portions were massive, enough for sharing between two. Only booked bed & breakfast. Across the road from Kolovare Beach and sea. 15-20 minute stroll to the old town.

Tea/coffee facilities would’ve been nice in the room but there was a fridge for cold drinks and tap water is drinkable.

I booked a superior room which was very spacious and had 3 separate balconies. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Marijana on reception. There was no mad rush for sunbeds and we always found empty ones regardless of the time. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. The hotel location is excellent, across the road from the beach and 15 minute stroll to the old town.

If you are visiting Zadar, this is the place to stay! Perfect for couples, families, larger groups! The location is perfect! The beach is right across the street, a great restaurant is right around the corner, the bus station is right down the street, as well as the local hospital, the Harbour from where daily boat trips leave from is a 10 minute walk! Old Town is a 15 minute walk! Not to mention that this is one of the very few hotels in the area with 2 swimming pools- one smaller one for kids. Perfect for relaxing if you want to stay away from the crowds at the beach! The breakfast was delicious- lots to choose from :) can’t complain! The availability to order food by the pool was a plus! The staff was friendly and the most helpful :) Our room was spacious, with a fairly large balcony, the beds were comfortable! We will definitely book again during our next stay in Zadar! :)

The only minor thing I can complain about is the morning war for sunbeds after breakfast ;) First come first serve - not enough sunbeds for for all hotel guests :D

Ideal for our short stopover in Zadar- only a 15 minute stroll into the old town. In a lovely quiet area with access to a pebble beach area. Spotlessly clean room and hotel overall. Our room was large room with 3 balconies (i think we were upgraded as it was low season) and sea view. Breakfast buffet was surprisingly good and included lots of local specialities to try. Great pool area for relaxing (but didn't swim as its early in the season and too cold for me!). Easy access free parking.

the verandah space was good to sit in. staff sorted the room daily. The room was very spacious, even had a couch for 3!!. 10 minutes walk to start of old town. Food available 3 times a day at moderate price if required. Evening Buffet for bus groups mainly. Good parking space. Pool area was nice and a good beach over the road.

The lift didn't quite reach all levels for easy access. Some rooms on 2nd floor had a significant number of stairs to some rooms.
