This is a fabulous hotel in a great location, 2 minutes walk from the beach/waterfront, 5 mins from the bus station and a lovely large supermarket and a 15 minute walk to the old town. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, from reception to restaurant to the room cleaning staff, they couldn't have been nicer. The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a small (but plenty) cold selection and then being able to order the hot breakfast a la carte meant it was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Would 100% recommend staying at Miremare, you won't regret it.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike!

We loved our stay at the Miramare hotel. The location is perfect, literally within a minute's walking distance to the beach and only a short 10-15 minute walk to the old town in Zadar. The hotel pool is relatively small but always had loungers and space available during our stay, and is kept impeccably clean, as is the room and all other facilities. Breakfasts featured a nice offering of local produce, and had a good variety to choose from with cooked options made to order. The highlight of our stay, however, was definitely the staff who were all kind, attentive, and made sure we were always happy and comfortable. This really made the difference between a good stay and a great stay, and we will be sure to return if we visit the area again.

Best tip-top hotel one can ask for! Everything about this amazing hotel is fabulous, starting from the warm reception when checking-in. Breakfast served is absolutely delicious. All the staff are great and very welcoming. The room was really clean, and everything was organised in detail. The flowers, shrubs and trees planted around the hotel premises are amazing. You can see a lot of thought has gone when designing this hotel. Additionally, location of hotel is great, couple of minutes walk to the nearest beach and a short stroll to old town.

I have just returned from a four-night stay at the Miramar hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is conveniently located only a 5-minute walk to the beach and waterfront, where there are a number of local restaurants and beach bars, which was ideal for us to enjoy our short stay.

We were happy with all aspects of the hotel.

I had a fantastic short stay at the Miramare. Having visited up and down the Croatian coast for over 10 years, Zadar is my favourite and this hotel the best to-date. I can say the hotel is very clean, the pool was nice, the staff very friendly, and I even had daily conversations with the owner, who walked around checking everything was tip top. The hotel is ideally placed, less than 100m to the beach and a quick stroll away from the old town. The hotel restaurant had really nice Bruschetta and the Filet Mignon ended up being my every dinner-time choice.

We stayed at 5 different hotels in Croatia, and Miramare was the best stay among them. The hotel is small, but everything was great. It's within a 5-minute walk to the bus station; It's located in walking distances to the major attractions; it's clean and tidy; the breakfast was exceptional; the staff and owner are friendly and welcoming.

I recently stayed with friends at Hotel Miramare in Zadar, Croatia, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly, helpful, and hospitable staff. Their dedication and attention to detail made our stay particularly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoroughly cleaned every day. It was evident that great care was taken in maintaining hygiene, which was very important to us. Another highlight of our stay was the hotel's outstanding cuisine. Every dish we tasted was delicious and clearly prepared with passion. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner exceeded all our expectations. Lastly, I would like to give special thanks to the hotel owner. He is a particularly kind and caring man who genuinely cares about his guests. His personal approach and involvement made us feel at home, even though we were far from home. In short, I can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Miramare to anyone looking for a relaxing and worry-free stay in Zadar. We will definitely be returning!

The hotel is new and modern and everything finished to a high standard. I wasn't sure what to expect staying in the middle of August as the description states that children are welcome. The hotel was a perfect adult getaway (we have children but were treating ourselves to a weekend without them for a special occasion). The pool area was quiet everyday and relaxing. There are only about 10 beds but these were never all full. Breakfast and the food here was excellent and cooked to order. We enjoyed sitting around the pool in the sun at breakfast. It is a really short walk to Kolovare beach. However if you walk a little further to the left and along the coast 5-10mins there are 2 more sections of beach that are prettier and quieter. You can also walk further along a coastal path or cycle. The walk into town along the main road or along the coast took about 15mins. We did both and interchanged them. I think its ideal to stay here rather than in the old town itself. You get the best of both worlds with the beach. I would rather be minutes from the beach area so you dont have to carry your towels and stuff far in the heat. The walk to town we usually did for eating and evening drinks. However there are several restaurants near by too. A plus for my husband was the kettle in the room. Not many hotels abroad provide a kettle but it meant he could make a morning cup of tea. The bar area was kind enough to provide a cup of milk to put in our fridge to make it with but if you are a coffee drinker they had the little coffee cream pots in the room too. There is a luggage room to store cases at checkout and also a modern shower in the toilets around the pool if you need to use it after checkout. I would definitely recommend staying here, it was the ideal hotel for a treat and for a weekend away.

Breakfast was really good lovely selection of fruit and cereals.staff were very helpful then. We had a suite and it was fantastic with a great balcony and air con was super. Rooms were cleaned daily with new towels every day. Bar staff at night were really good and helpful.Pool area with towels supplied was a great benefit.

One day the waiter removed the pool umbrella beside our loungers we had been using all morning and gave to the lady up from us who just arrived 5mins earlier without even asking we’re we using it and we were actually….
