My girlfriend left her AirPods behind by accident and we notified the hotel then we offered to pay for shipping to send them back to Scotland but they just asked for our address and shipped them back not questions asked - absolutely amazing cannot fault what so ever

Tv we had in our room was an old style fat back tv however this is something we didn’t even use so this didn’t affect us in any way but I can imagine this could potentially irritate people if they are needing or looking to use the television Also when we had arrived at the hotel we had to pay our city tax in cash at 2am but the next day with another hotel adviser we were able to pay using our card which was strange

Personally, this hotel was right up my alley. I really like these older type of hotels and it was well-maintained.. a mixture of old style with some upgrades and renovations. I, for one, love the Yugoslav vibe that this hotel still has. It allows for some character while also not being expensive. Everything most people could want is available here - clean, safe rooms along with a nice lobby and dining room. There are plenty of hotels in Zagreb now where you can pay twice the price if you prefer a more modern experience for the short time you're there.

I thought, given the reviews, that this hotel would not be a good place at which to stay. I was wrong. I spent alot of time reading the reviews and then decided to take a chance. I can assure you that in the vast majority of the cases, there are low scores for this establishment simply because people today now want modern luxury, and have therefore penalized this hotel for being a bit older. Aside from the beds not being very comfortable, everything else was satisfactory. The hotel is still quite charming with a large lobby area. It's definitely a bargain for anyone not wanting to always spend alot on hotel rooms every night.

The staff is GREAT! They helped in anything I asked for with kindness and valid information. I really enjoyed the old fashion retro like style.

I liked my window view , the breakfast with a lot of sorts of coffee , apples and oranges, eggs, cheese, sausage, palatschinken, , müsli, joghurt etc.! Also the location was good ,easy to walk to the centre, to the markets and to the hills! I liked very much my bathtub,the supermarket around the corner and the bakery where you can also buy pizzahats.

In my room one lamp has not worked. By my first stay in Hotel Laguna the electric heater under the window fell to the ground and i had to do that he remained standable.

The hotel gave an excellent price-value ratio, the rooms were clean and tidy, the breakfast was ok and parking was affordable. It is located about 20-25 minutes of walking from the city center, but you can also take the nearby tram to get there in 5 minutes. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

The breakfast selection was quite limited for the price we had to pay and several dishes ran out very quickly and weren't replaced. The coffee wasn't very good in my opinion, but overall it was a very minor inconvenience.

The breakfast was good, basic but good, the room was good, the parking was adequate, the best thing was the young male receptionist who spoke many languages ​​and his charisma and good treatment was spectacular.
