It was close to the town square, had parking (with a fee), was secure, neighborhood felt safe, rooms were large, clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was very responsive.

Would have been nice if the parking was free, but the room comes at such a low cost, it may not be feasible for the host to offer free parking. Stairs, no elevators. For those traveling to Europe for the first time, know that most of the buildings and accommodations do not have elevators. This makes it very difficult for those carrying large suitcases. May want to downsize your luggage as this will be the challenge throughout your entire travel to Europe.

The location is perfect – right in the city center, yet in a quiet and peaceful area. Everything was within walking distance, but without any noise or crowds. 10/10! The apartment was cozy, clean and well-kept, and a special shoutout goes to the lady at the reception (who also takes care of the maintenance) – incredibly kind, helpful, and always there when we needed something. A true host who made our stay even more pleasant!

Location was very good!! There were 2 bathrooms which is important with 6 people sharing an apartment. It was nice having a front desk for easy check in.

The downstairs toilet made loud growling noises (could hear it upstairs) for 5-10min after each use. The shower had a good amount of hot water and pressure, but some maintenance work is needed on the shower head/wand system. The head on the wand is broken and water just pours out, you can't really adjust it at all. Also, you cannot just use the rain shower head: water will also still come out of the want. So it is waisting a lot of water during a shower The kitchen included a microwave, but only 3 small spoons (many tablespoons) and lots of dish soap, but no spongs!

Location very good, comfortable apartment, very good mattress, tv good size, shower/toilet area good size. All in all very good quality for the money. On street parking good enough but we were not charged late arrival Saturday departed Sunday afternoon

My only slight criticism is the shower head power Weak to be honest, either needs descaling or a new smaller head as the water pressure is good. Not sure the free standing Aircon unit could deliver heat- I tried but failed maybe user error

We were very satisfied with our stay at Tia apartments, and I am writing this review to warmly recommend the place. We stayed only one night, but I asked the owner if it is possible (because I am pregnant) to arrange a double bed because of comfort, which he arranged immediately and even offered me a bigger apartment (with no extra fee) which was on the ground level in order to avoid any complications. Next, when we arrived, the lady that welcomed us was super nice, and she even cooled the room for us upon arriving. And last but not least, the location of the apartment can not get any better, it is in the heart of the city with available parking (for an extra fee), and all of the tourist attractions are walking distance from it.

Room was spacious and great location. Bathroom was a good size and our room had a wardrobe, smart TV and desk. Aircon was amazing and was on before we checked in which helped after a day of travelling. Easy to find from the bus station if you use google maps!

Could have used a mini fridge and mugs as there was a kettle but nothing else! The books in our room needed a dusting but the rest was super clean!

Great price and location. The room felt very cosy and was of better quality than many hotel rooms. It had a small fridge and was clean. We appreciated being allowed to check out at 11:00 and the option to pay via Revolut.

There was no soundproofing, so it felt like we were right next to the reception. No amenities apart from the room itself, and no free toiletries. The check-in experience wasn’t very welcoming.

- Very clean - Good sized room - Good location - 15 minutes walking distance from central Zagreb - Very quiet safe area - Facilities including walk in shower, window overlooking street, comfortable beds, television, and hairdryer.

Some downsides/things to consider: - Reception works from 2pm-9pm so plan arrival properly. You can leave bags at the desk for free. - No elevator. You might have to take your bags up three flights of stairs. - Not so obvious entrance - access is directly into this side street.

Place was absolutely perfect, the host was very accommodating, the location was ideal, it was roughly 10 mins walk from the main square. The room was perfect,it was very clean with all the essentials, including air conditioning and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend for a couple or solo traveller visiting Zagreb.

The room was clean and had plenty of space, no complaints there. They were flexible with payments as well which was appreciated and its super central in the city.

The only problem (if you can call it that) was the lack of an elevator, if you on the top floor and have any kind of mobility issues you you will need to use the stairs, in the heat that can be a paid. Not much of a problem though.
