The location was excellent. Right on the street that divides the upper and lower cities with tram stops right outside, yet set back in a courtyard, so it is still quiet. The breakfast was a nice mix of items and staff made sure it was well stocked. The room was pleasant, with a nice big bathroom.

Nothing. However, just be aware that the entrance isn't very obvious from the street - watch out for a big blue and white "parking" sign.

The hotel is well located, on the main street with tram stops outside. Like many things in Zagreb, it is easy to miss as the signage doesn't really stand out. The entrance is through a fairly busy alleyway, which is shared with a popular car park, but the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful, storing our bags when we arrived early and left late; breakfast was varied and plentiful. Our room was a good size with a small sofa bed for extra seating. The pillows were very thick and I was told there were no others availble so in the end I used the small cushions as pillows to avoid getting neck ache. The bathroom was well equipped, but the shower controls were placed at a point where there was no screen, so using the overhead shower head inevitably resulted in the floor getting wet, and using the hand-held meant backing into the area where there was a protective screen. Whoever designed this bath/shower layout did not try it out.

By far the service at Hotel Park 45 was the best feature. The woman who helped check us in on July 9 was lovely. She was so helpful and kind and took care of everything we needed throughout our stay. I wish I'd gotten her name, but I didn't see her on our last day. The facilities were good. It's an older hotel so there's a little wear and tear, but it's all good. The rooms were clean and everything was in good order. The rooms were also very spacious and had plenty of storage. The breakfast was also nice. A good little variety. And the location is perfect. Right on the tram line and walking distance to everything you'd want to see in Zagreb. The value for the price is also fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're going to Zagreb.

This was my second time in Zagreb in less than 6 months. Last time, I stayed at a large and famous central hotel which was not picked nor paid by me. This time, I had the chance to pick Hotel Park 45 and I am really glad I did. It looked more like a boutique hotel. Cozy, quiet, friendly staff with perfect command of English and ready to provide any information, nice food. This will probably be my go-to hotel whenever I return to Zagreb.

I was with a few co-workers. My room was quite good and it was facing the backyard. But the rooms facing the main street were a little noisy because of the trams.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, which made it easy to relax. A big thank you to the staff for upgrading our room to assist with accessibility for my mum – it was a considerate gesture that made a real difference to our stay. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning—generous and fresh, but also featuring some local specialities such as štrukli and dumplings with strawberries. It was a wonderful way to start the day and added a special touch to the experience. Overall, a warm and welcoming stay. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to others.

The hotel is very clean and extremely well maintained. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast.The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The parking is public parking with available spots most of the time. For those who like to walk and bike it is extremely convenient. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby, unfortunately no gelato. The tram stops right outside the hotel. For local handcrafted souvenirs, we recommend the handful of sellers at the rear of the market

In 2025, this hotel should have in each room greater capacity for USB charging, your smart phone, watch, etc.

Very comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Parking was convenient and only 10euro/night. Location is fabulous for visiting upper and lower town.

Front desk staff were less than helpful. We asked how to make an outside call from our room and they couldn't tell us. We also asked for help calling a beauty salon, and they said there was no way they would have any availability. We ended up calling from our cell phone and they did indeed have availability immediately. Lucky maybe, but the staff was not very helpful to us.

The hotel has the best location: close to the tram stop, the famous funicular, the central square, all the museums, the botanical garden, etc. I really liked the extreme responsiveness of the staff, I have not met better anywhere yet. Also a good breakfast, quite varied and filling. The room has a huge bathroom. Cleaning is done every day.

I didn't like the slightly shabby state of the furniture in the room, the shabby upholstery. It wasn't quiet in the room, there was always some kind of noise in the morning and evening, someone was walking and stomping, slamming doors. This is not very critical, but still.

Great location: this hotel is on the main street that runs through Zagreb with lots of shops nearby. It is a small to medium size hotel, which I found quite nice. We were greeted with a glass of bubbly - lovely touch! There are cookies/biscuits and candies at the check in counter. Aida at reception was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is only open for breakfast as far as we could tell, but there is a bar at the reception desk so we were able to order drinks and relax before going up to our room. We had to leave early so we missed breakfast but they offered to pack up some baked goods to take away. Pay parking on site is very convenient. Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable with a nice new bathroom.

An extra blanket in the room would have been a nice touch. There is not much bad to say about this place - we loved it! We are sorry we couldn't stay a little longer:)
