When I booked my stay, Irena was very quick to answer any questions I had and was super helpful and friendly. It was easy to get to Rooms Zagreb 17 from the main bus station (or the main train station) via the tram and it is in a great location - seconds away from the main square, famous market, old town and cafe/restaurants area. I had a very smooth check in and Ivan give me lots of useful information in terms of what to see and where to eat. Irena was incredibly helpful everyday, in terms of advice on what to do and how to get there. I had an issue with my flights and Irena was so very kind when she helped me contact the local flight centres and as a result helped me to resolve the situation. The room has everything you need and it was immaculate (clean, bright and fresh). Thank you Irena for a wonderful stay and thank you for always going out of your way to help me. I would stay here again with out any hesitation and also recommend Rooms Zagreb 17 to everyone.

I stayed in this property many years ago and was delightfully surprised that it is still as good as I remember. The location is excellent and only a few minutes from the main Trg Bana Jelačića. The room I was allocated (#5 I think) on the ground floor was very large with a wonderful view over a small park and the main pedestrian restaurant/bar street of Tkalčićeva with the cathedral up in the background. Interesting art work made the room warm and homely. Very comfortable bed and large, modern bathroom with an excellent shower stall. As an added bonus, Irena is a fantastic hostess - very friendly and kind and super efficient - even bringing extra towels when I requested them

Kitchen facilities are a bit limited but the property is more like a private hotel than small apartments. Tea/Coffee facilities were provided as well as a small retro-style refrigerator.

The location is perfect for walking around and accessing every thing and every spot you might want to visit in Zagreb. And many restaurants right there too. But even greater than the location was Irena, the manager, who I communicated and asked questions of several times prior to arriving and who always responded right away and was so helpful in many ways, including suggesting and getting a taxi that has special access to pedestrian streets so could pick us up right in front. And he even came in and carried our suitcases down the stairs. This is THE place to stay in Zagreb!!

Irena is extraordinarily friendly & helpful. The room was like a studio apartment, complete with couch, small fridge & small table & chairs. Everything very comfy & clean. The location is ideal - right in the heart of cafes & restaurants, easy walk to everything one wants to visit. It's in an area where no cars are allowed, so no traffic noise.

Because it is on the heart of everything, expect noise from cafes & pedestrians until 1 AM or so. Bring earplugs if you're not a night owl. Taxis will drop you off/pick you up a half block or so from the room since they're not allowed on this part of the street - but VERY easy walk.

Basically everything, the place is big, comfortable, quiet and nicely designed, and in a great position. It was clean, the wifi was good, and there was a boiler with some tea. Great price for the value.

Separated blankets on a double bed, it may be good for some couples but I'm pretty sure it's bad for many others. Anyway, we slept well. Note for the readers: the name is 17 but it's at the 22, in our case we ended up in the wrong building, where they are also renting rooms.

Ratings are always subjective based on what you are looking for in a place to stay. This isn’t 5 star, but for us, location, cleanliness, and value are the top 3 and this hits all 3. Beds are comfortable and everything works. We would stay here again.

Bring earplugs. The back window overlooks the busiest pedestrian street in Zagreb, so there is some street noise. Definitely a prime location.

This was a nice and clean little hotel, which has a small room but decent enough for a single night stay! It was warm and comfortable and had a location right near the city square. The customer service was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

The shower had only limited hot water, which i'm not exactly surprised about being in a southern central european city. But it wasn't that bad, just not what i thought a hotel might have!

Irena, the Rental Manager, is great. She was actually out of town the weekend we stayed there, but her very cute monther-in-law looked after our check-in. Irena was available 100% of the time by whatsapp. We really appreciated that she coordinated a driver for us to get to the airport, as finding a cab in this location would be tricky. The room is very comfortable. Lots of space, very clean. Our unit's windows opened onto a very busy pedestrian street with many bars and restaurants. As the evening progressed, the street noise increased. I was amazed that, when we closed the windows, the noise was completely eliminated. They have amazing windows in this place. We were there on a cool evening, so we didn't need the windows open. I don't think our unit had air conditioning, so perhaps on a hot day, it would be a bit of an issue, as the street noise would make it very difficult to sleep with windows open. They happily stored our luggage at reception after we checked out, and before our driver came. All in all, a great stay.

Booking.com created a problem for us when trying to find this place. In our booking confirmation, the location is listed as "Radiceva 22, Upper Town - Medvescak". That is NOT the address for this apartment. It's some random apartment block in a residential neighborhood, far from where tourists would want to stay. When I put "Rooms Zagreb 17" into Applemaps, we found the place no problem. So, that definitely needs to be updated. That was really our only issue.

Room had AC. So grateful for that!

Uber had to leave us off a bit far from the hotel because it's in a pedestrian protected part of town. We had to lug suitcases uphill in very hot, humid weather, not sure where we were going. It would have been very helpful to have signage that stuck out from the building with the name of the hotel. Instead there was a small sign that was flush with the wall that was not easy to see. We were almost led astray when we showed the address (written in Croatian) to a salesperson at a nearby boutique. She thought we were far away from where we needed to be. In fact we were right across the street. Thank goodness we happened to spot the small sign before we lugged our suitcases all the way back down to the commercial streets.

We stopped here for a night before flying home after travelling Croatian coast and visiting Ljubljana. Fantastic location right next to street with bars and restaurants. The owner was so lovely and took matters into his own hands and majorly helped us out when all the airport taxis where fully booked. - we can't thank him enough for this. Loved the SMEG fridge in the room, such a classic!

Not a lot Only thing ... If you are funny about noise you might not like the location as if you have window open you can hear the bars and restaurants- as soon as the window is shut you can't hear anything though. And ... it would be nice to have some bottled water in the fridge for arrival .. it was hot hot hot in Zagreb!! ( this was included in all of the places we arrived at in Croatia, just not this one)
