I love this hotel - As a female solo traveler, I prefer to stay in places I feel safe. This hotel is amazing, the sauna/pool/gym situation is fantastic. The breakfast at the restaurant is fresh. The staff will go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Espresso machine and tea in the room is great - the blackout curtains on the room also really help if you're jetlagged and need some extra rest. Very convenient location - close to lots of bars, restaurants, and downtown area of Zagreb. I've stayed here 3 times now on my travels to Croatia. Wouldn't stay anywhere else! Also, it is a close 20-30 min ride to the airport from the hotel. Staff assist with arranging taxis so all in all very convenient and has everything you need for a restful, wonderful stay.

i love this hotel so this feels really minor, but the beds are a bit firmer that i am used to.

this is my go to hotel in Zagreb. Don't bother looking anywhere else. It's fantastic. The food is EXCELLENT. the rooms are EXCELLENT. the spa and gym are great. Super close walking distance to all of Zagreb. staff is super responsive, rooms are comfortable and safe. I'm a female solo traveler and this is one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at. I've been to over 40+ countries, mainly for work, and have had my fair share of bad stays. This hotel will exceed your expectations.

We recently stayed at art’otel Zagreb for an extended weekend and were very pleased with the overall experience. The hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated historic building, combining modern design with its architectural heritage. Its central location is ideal, with all of Zagreb’s major sights just a short walk away. Our room on the third floor was modern and thoughtfully designed. It featured a high-quality Illy coffee maker, which added a nice touch—although we must admit we struggled a bit to figure it out at first (entirely a user issue..). After a few attempts, we managed to brew a cup. The room also had air conditioning, but we appreciated that the windows could be opened as well. The windows were soundproof, so despite being in a central location, the room was pleasantly quiet. The lack of a minibar wasn’t an issue for us, as the service areas on each floor offered packaged food and drinks for purchase. The toiletries and bathrobe provided were of high quality, adding to the comfort of our stay. Breakfast was well-executed, with a diverse buffet complemented by a menu of freshly prepared egg dishes, juices, and smoothies. One of the highlights was the basement restaurant and bar, YEZI, which we highly recommend. Its Asian-inspired dishes, amazing pastry and creative cocktails offered a great dining experience. Though we didn’t use the spa or gym facilities, it’s worth mentioning that they are available for guests. Overall, art’otel Zagreb is a stylish, modern, and well-located hotel that offers comfort and convenience for travelers looking to explore the city.

While we found the service professional and efficient, it was a bit on the reserved side, which might feel less personal to some guests.

Lovely stay, excellent location, very silent rooms, excellent shower, great coffee, comfortable bedding and scrupulously clean. Reception area and common parts are very well designed and lobby was great with some good reads, sparkling wine, fruit and water.

A little suggestion: the LED strip lighting near the curtain in our room was very strong and when you are in bed shines right into your eyes. It could have easily been hidden behind the curtain pelmet to become an indirect light thus softer on the eyes and more moody. Breakfast should be more varied with some cooked options being included, not considered as extras, being at E30 per person I expected more than a continental breakfast.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Very modern technology in the rooms, loved it. Coffee machine was an espresso machine…totally next level. Very chic decor! Location could not be better, you are very centre by one corner. Front desk Sara was so nice, informative, and a sweetheart for squeezing in a last minute reservation, at Yezi, on a Saturday night for us. Spa sauna and pool,….loved it.

The hotel needs to be given a few parking spots in front of the hotel so patrons can make a stop temporarily to get thier luggage out. Currently it is a taxi stand, and to put it nicely, they are not happy if you stop there…but on the plus side we called ahead and valet service was available. They took the car and parked it for us. So very happy.

Everything was great, except for one thing. The pros: very friendly and attentive staff, skilled and ready to help. New hotel with everything you could wish for. Amazing location. Even fresh fruits and of course - water. Very clean, modern room technology, very friendly housekeeping. The A/C could be more accurate (the temperature set was never reached, generally too hot in the room). The only downside: the bed was too hard for me. But that's a personal preference and should not keep you from visiting. If you're unsure: don't be! It's definitely worth staying here.

Very nice hotel with the best location, if you want to explore center of the city. The staff at the reception was very helpful and all was working according to our expectations. Very nice design and hotel equipment. We spend just 1 night.

It was pity that we received our hot breakfast a la cart cold. There was enough staff at the restaurant during the breakfast and not so many guest but they were at the bar and also cook was looking for them and waited for them to take our breakfast away from the kitchen. It is a pity. Otherwise the cold bufet breakfast was enough choice of everything and nice decorated.

We stayed here for a few days and were greeted by really lovely staff. They were very welcoming and helpfully gave us restaurant recommendations as well as where to explore around the city. All the facilities were in very good condition such as the gym, indoor pool and amenities in the room like the coffee machine. We also had a car with us for which they provided a valet service. The rooftop bar was also a great place to have some drinks albeit that the cocktail list was a bit limited. Overall, really good service, cleanliness and the hotel is also conveniently located very close to the centre.

Unfortunately the breakfast was not at a high standard. The buffet bar was a bit limited compared to other hotels I’ve been to and it wouldn’t have mattered if the quality of the food was good. They had a menu where you could order food included in the breakfast price which is great but sadly this food was also lacking in flavour and execution. Also maybe because we came around the end of summer, they didn’t have all their items available like smoothies.

Top location, excellent and helpful staff, private parking in the backyard, compliments in the room. I can't thank enough the guys from the reception and not only! Guys from maintenance as well as the guys from the rooftop bar. Extremely helpful and attentive! Thank you, guys! I'd give 10+ stars for the staff if I could, cuz they really make the difference!

The concept and the idea of everything being automated and have touch screens all over the place might be nice, but the execution was not ideal. I found it hard to believe that there was no switch in the bathroom, you need to get to the entrance and turn on the light in the bathroom. Also, cuz of everything being high tech the AC unit wouldn't work as sensors around the window were bad. Blinds would not close too. We were offered another room, though and again, thanks to the exceptional staff - guys at the reception were making the difference! All of them were amazing!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and well-equipped with slippers and a robe. Room was clean. I enjoyed the pool and the sauna and steam room. Location of the hotel was great, right in the city center. I lost my wallet somewhere in the hotel, I called and I was able to just pick up the wallet at reception 15min later.

Breakfast was very disorganized, with warm dishes like eggs that had to be ordered, but it was unclear. So I just sat at the table wondering why all the other guests were eating eggs when there were none at the buffet. There was also a misunderstanding about my breakfast order because of the limited english of the waiters. Food was good though and everyone was very friendly and trying to help, more of a management problem.
