The location of this hostel is really great, a short walk across the street and you are in the old part of the city with churches, lanes, restaurants and shops as well as history all around you. The premise of the hostel - in an office building - is quirky. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking implements and is a good place to prepare food. The staff are wonderfully helpful, explaining how easy and cheap it was for me to go to Plitvice lakes with public transport, rather than an expensive day trip. They always greeted me warmly when I came and went from the hostel. The room was warm and comfortable.

I think there is a market for female only dorms here, I wanted one, but had to book a mixed dorm, and then when the man left, two more girls came to the room and one of them said she asked specifically to be with other females. Also, there are great bathrooms, however the hooks for all your clothing, towel, etc are outside of the shower stall. Meaning that you have to exit after showering to access your towel and clothes, rather than being about to use hooks or shelves in the stall to hang items and dress privately. There is also no frosting on the female bathroom window, which overlooks a carpark and other buildings, so I was a bit self conscious when entering and exiting my shower.

Shoutout to the brilliant reception lady, Dijana. She was so welcoming and accommodating and gave me the best tips on how to look around the city on foot. The bed was comfy and the place is well maintained.

The showerroom’s lights were out, and it is censored so it was a bit inconvenient to take a shower in the evening in the dark. Each person gets a key to the assigned room, but some roommates leave the door unlock. Although I had my valuables in my own locker, it would be nice to make sure everyone keeps the door locked all the time. Lastly, something I couldn't have control over, but my roommate snorted like a train so I couldn't sleep well lol

The staff was welcoming, efficient and helpful; enough showers, the room is pretty quiet and comfortable, there is quite a lot of space in the common areas, useful details such as a vending machine, fuse ball... and there's a little terrace outside (hot on the summer). lockers before check-in and after check-out are very practical. The location is perfect, close to the tram and to the old town.

Some of the space is shared with a school in the morning, so it can be a little crowded. But it is quieter and very comfortable the rest of the day/night.

Everything about the place is amazing. The fact that I had a free parking spot reserved in the safe spot in the middle of the city is shocking. I had to stay longer because of personal needs, but that was handled great by the staff and I was given a new bed with the whole procedure being seemless. The staff was extensively helpful, talkative and friendly. I had the most grandeous stay.

It's nothing about the Hostel itself, but rather that some people visiting can be somewhat unclean or uncomfortable to be around.

The hostel is situated right in the city center, just a few minutes’ walk from the main attractions. It’s really clean and cozy, both the rooms and the common areas. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helped me a lot, they let me leave my luggage until the evening despite the early check-out. The girl at the reception desk even gave me a different room than the one I had booked so that I didn’t have to sleep alone with the guys. I really appreciate it! It’s the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in, thanks a lot!

The staff: they all have good energy and Dijana is exceptional! Always nice and super helpful, for example with instructions about parking. The building is warm in winter. The location. Large lockers. Checkout time until 11 AM.

I suggest to describe a more detailed procedure for guests in the kitchen regarding washing the dishes, the drying rack, the use of the dishwasher. More hangers everywhere in the bathroom can always be useful.

Missing curtains on beds, I consider this as a MUST for a good hostel (quick win for comfort in dorm from air conditioning, room light and privacy) Some facilities, like bathrooms, would deserve maintenance or pension:)

Location is great, staff is very friendly and helpful, kitchen facilities are good and the swimming pool on the roof was very nice indeed.

I was in a dormitory of 8 beds in a room which was too small for so many people to be in one room. Music that was blasting from the bar underneath was excessively loud and it went on until midnight and than got quieter, but still carried on for a while as well as noise from people who obviously were bar guests. Fortunately as a former DJ, I am ok with music but nevertheless as I went to bed at 9pm, it woke me up couple of times before it dissipated.

They had face towels. None of the places I stayed at over the 3 months traveling offer face towels. Great location. Lots of restaurants & suites close.

I did read that the entrance to the hostel was through a parking lot & that I would need to give the metal door a kick. I am glad I arrived in the day light, cause I saw the large hostel printed on the side of the building. Once I knew where it was arriving home at night was no problem.
