The property was in the Central location and was easy to get to the main bits of the town. There was a staff member who told me about a walking tool that was in the main square which was a good walking tour. I enjoyed it and also found a few nice places to eat as cafés and restaurants.

I would probably say the room that I was in was next to toilet not too far, but there was not soap in the hand dispenser but they were clean as each day. Maybe they didn’t have the key or they haven’t replaced it. I don’t know but for me it would’ve been good.so just put soap there. L3 bathroom.

Good location, walking distance to the old town but a bit less touristy. We slept peacefully, believe it or not! Double rooms are cool and clean, AC, comfy pillows and nice firm mattress, soft sheets. Shout out to Moncho Montoya who somehow managed to post my beloved lost jacket all the way to Portugal! That's top tier service and saving the day! Professionalism and friendliness to the core 💖 The volunteers were super chill and sound, good vibes. They were making eggs and sausages for all the lost souls feeling fragile in the morning. The girl at the reception who checked us in was lovely and friendly also. Loved the vibe of the hostel, felt very relaxed and chilled. The staff were so helpful, helped me with phone issues and advised on places to go., and helped booked my taxi to airport. The breakfast was an added bonus and a chance to get to meet people. As a 57year old female solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable there. Would have loved to be there in my 20s/ 30s, listening to my fellow hostellers talking about the pub crawl the night before. 😅. all in all a great experience. . I booked the private room, shared toilet and shower which was fine, just outside the room.

Nothing I didn't like, it is what it is. It says its noisy and for a short time it is, but in a fun way.

First of all: it's a party hostel. So, if you're looking for cool activities and meet young people this is the place for you. I was not looking for that, yet my stay was great. I had a lot of interesting suggestions about Zagreb and Croatia buy one of the receptionists, Nikola. The volunteers in the morning always prepared eggs and sausages for breakfast, and the rest was lais down in the communal lounge, which is quite nice and spacious. I've never had any problems with loud noises from the parties, and the 8-bed dorm was spacious, with very big lockers for your stuff and backpacks. There are two showers and two toilets on each floor, but there are not many rooms, so I found it was enough: I never had to line up or wait for a shower or to use that bathroom. The hotel is 10 to 15 mins walk from the main square, but even from there you can start walking to begin your exploration of Zagreb with nearby attractions. Also, useful tram stops are within a short distance.

I had a great time at Whole Wide World Hostel! The common room & bar is cozy and the place to meet other travelers. Happy hour is when the beer pong tables come out :D Most other people are in their 20s and I felt a bit too old but even at 37 it was super easy to meet others. For breakfast they had perfect scrambled eggs freshly made by Nico (: The other options were all sweet (cornflakes and Nutella). When I left for the airport super early in the morning Luca let me have breakfast even before the official brekkie time, that was great! He was very friendly and helpful.

The bathrooms weren’t very clean. Apparently they’re cleaned once a day in the late afternoon - I believe another cleaning before noon would be very good. Also the hostel is a little walk from the city centre but it’s a nice walk.

Location wise it’s easy to found and not that far from the Center and near also to train station. I expect that the place will be a little noisy which they told me from the start . Staff are very accommodating and good. My only concern was they don’t offer free towel I was told when I was there that I should bring my own towel which I didn’t expect. And the public areas like toilet, shower rooms even the common areas are not clean . But pillows and bed are comfortable and soft .

It’s not clean maybe because it’s Holiday and they have much guest and they have less man power .

My stay at Whole Wide World Hostel in Zagreb was thoroughly enjoyable! This convenience made it incredibly easy to explore the heart of Zagreb on foot. The staff at the hostel were mostly kind and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. Accommodations here are clean and comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. The rooms are well-maintained, with comfortable bedding that provided a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. A particularly delightful feature was the included breakfast, which was more generous than expected. It provided a great start to the day and a chance to chat with other travellers. The communal area of the hostel further enhanced the social experience, offering a cosy space to meet and interact with fellow guests. Cooking facilities are available, which is convenient for those looking to prepare their own meals. However, it's worth noting that the kitchen space is a bit tight, which can be a little challenging when the hostel is full.

The only real downside to this hostel was the toilets, which are a bit old and could certainly benefit from some updating. While the showers were good, refreshing and well-maintained, the toilets detracted slightly from the overall experience.

This is one of the most fun hostels I've been to as a solo traveller! The common area always had engaging activities every evening and the staff really knew how to make it all worthwhile with new and interesting activities every time. Also very helpful and friendly! I'd definitely recommend it!!

The AC in our room was not the best.. it could have been better.. but still decent.

The bar is perfect to meet people, they have different dynamics to have fun every night. Evana and Moncho were the best hosts, they were always helpful and fun, willing to provide assistance with a big smile!

The other guys from the staff are not very friendly specially during breakfast they seem to be tired of dealing with people. They don't clean the rooms properly, there were glasses, bottles and trash for days in my room.

- The showers are a bit old and some are broken - There are too many messages coming from the hostel, it's annoying - After paying for a non-cancellable booking I received a message saying "WE ARE A PARTY HOSTEL. Sometimes there is noise past midnight. Don't stay here if that makes you cry". Why not write it in the description?
