Breakfast was okay, multiple options to choose from. I would suggest to improve the sweet side, maybe adding cakes, fresh fruits, etc.. The position of the hotel was excellent. It takes 15 minutes walking to get to the main square and there is a tram stop close by. Probably the best part of the hotel was the staff, especially the breakfast staff and one of the receptionist, Mateja, who was very nice and open to give suggestions and explanation on what to visit, where to go and the history behind everything. She showed to be very professional and experienced in what she does. Overall our stay was very nice despite the hot weather.

Excellent location, 3 tram-stops to center with tram stop directly in front of Hotel. Direct link 4 tram-stops to central bus station. Parking around can be a problem if not in Hotel carpark. Reception staff very helpful and polite. If just for visiting Zagreb center it is very good.

Hotel is nowhere near a 4-star but more of a 3-star: the rooms, hotel facilities, breakfast standards and all are no more than 3-star. Therefore not real value for 4-star money paid; options for proper 4-star at same prices exist . Airconditioner fan extremely noisy too.

Too expensive for what it offers (but within "normal" price range for hotels in Zagreb). Hardly 4-star hotel. Extra 15 Euro for parking per day, city tax in addition to hotel bill.

The location of the hotel was highliy convenient as it was very close to the city centre as well as had a large tram junction situated just outside of the hotel. The room was not as big as thought however the bed was still comfortable and they were very quiet.

The breakfast was not as grand as it was thought to be however, they did have a bit of everything and a nice mix of Continental and English breakfast.

Entering the lobby, you see why it's called garden hotel. Looks cozy and inviting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, 15 minute walk (or a 5 minute tram ride) from central train station, access to several tram lines, everything you need is close by. Botanical gardens are very close. The room and the bathroom were very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. It was very quiet, couldn't hear the outside noises at all.

The only thing I didn't like is the fact I decided to skip the breakfast.

The hotel is well located, a short tram ride from the main train station. Buy 30-min tickets (€0.53 each) at the train station and validate on board the tram. The tram station is in front of the hotel. The staff at reception are very helpful and pleasant. My triple room and the ensuite bathroom are roomy, and could accommodate 3 people comfortably. The wifi worked well too.

A kettle in the room would be nice.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean hotel, has its own parking lot which is a great comfort. Good price for money, taking into account other options.

A little worn and a bit insufficiently equipped for a 4 star hotel. Just a little out of the central area - the walk towards and from the center in the summer heat was a bit uncomfortable.

Booked this hotel last minute after a last minute cancellation at another room we were meant to stay in. The front desk staff are extremely polite and the room was perfect for our 2 night stay in Zagreb. It has a fridge as well which we appreciated. Small room but air conditioned and not far from many popular locations in Zagreb!

Breakfast was good, super friendly personal, will help you with everything. Good place to stay for few nights

In one of two rooms air conditioner was with non-working remote (conditioner worked, we couldn't adjust it), in second room shower doors did not close up. Hotel has definitely seen a lot of guest

We arrived at the hotel around 4pm with our car. Right next to the hotel (on it's right side) there is a small driveway with a barrier gate, it's easy to miss so drive up slowly when nearing the hotel. The parking is located at private property and has around 10 spots available, it's quite narrow so a van of some sort would not fit. The front of the hotel had a tramway and the back faced the parking lot. On our request we received a room facing the back to avoid noise. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel has free wifi. The room was very clean, had a tv, balcony, large bathroom with walk in shower, closet, airco, mini fridge, towels and slippers. It was perfect for us three. The inner city is about 15-20 mins away by foot. Nearby there is a dm and pastry shops. It was a very pleasant walk. Zagreb is a beautiful city! The breakfast was fantastic. A lot of different options; pastries, bread, toast, jams and spreads, porridge, cornflakes, four types of scrambled eggs, cold cut deli meats, cheese, coffees, drinks, etc. You can sit inside or opt to sit at their small terrace like we did and have a cozy breakfast near greenery. It was a nice and pleasant stay for our night spent in Zagreb.

The bathroom walls had some dirt on them, but that is about it. Since we stayed for one night only and we were very tired, I didn't bother to check the rest.
