Location is perfect for sightseeing and for going to the Turkish side too. Helpful and friendly staff made my stay even better :) Room was very big.

I would have loved more vegan breakfast options but I did not expect it and I was OK with bread, olives and vegetables. Almonds and dates made me very happy too!

Very nice and helpful staff, warm welcome. The location was perfect. We could not ask for more. We have arrived early but could not get the room as the previous customers smoke there and it had to be aired for a while. Eventually we were upgraded to an executive room which was spacious and quiet. There was a balcony overlooking the street and could watch the world go by from the inside as well. Bed was comfi. The bathroom was spacious and had sufficient area to place our stuff. The a/c-heating was effective and quiet. Wifi worked well. There was good lighting and sufficient electricity and charging sockets. Buffet breakfast was very good and filling. Breakfast service was excellent.

A little shelf for the amenities in the shower could be useful instead of placing the shower gel and shampoo on the floor.

Very family-friendly services, clean, efficient, and at a superb location. I had traveled with a two year old and a six year old. The staff, especially those at the breakfast restaurant, were so friendly and helpful. They really made our stay so memorable. We had an omelet with the buffet, and it was delicious. We planned to walk to the border with our suitcase with two small kids, so it was vital that the hotel be located within walking distance. It stands right next to Ledra Street, making it easy to walk straight to the border even without a map. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Only the coffee pot in the room didn't turn off by itself and needs replacing.

Really great accommodation in the direct city center. Rooms are modern was spacious and very clean. All needed facilities. Staff were very kind and helpful. Good communication before and during the visit. I really liked a breakfast, cosy and somehow family one. Lady serving was so kind and warm welcoming. Good choice of ingredients.

Nothing. There are no free parkings nearby, so either farther away or use the ones recommended by the hotel upfront. Price is not bad in comparison to other European cities (10EUR 10 hours and each next 0.50 EUR).

Unconventionally we booked hotel on the Greek side of Cyprus (came from the Turkish side) but luckily for us the hotel was very close to the crossing point where taksi was able to bring us (around 800m). We got unexpected upgrade to executive room which was bigger than the one we booked (I assume it because we saw the room next to us, also double and there was not so much space). The smell in the whole hotel was very nice. Towels in our room had also very nice smell. Bathroom was very cozy and clean, nice prepared. Breakfast was very simple but delicious. We could ask for omlet, scramble or fried egg which were delicious (we ate fried egg and additional to this we got halloumi grilled cheese and few pieces of tomato and cucumber). Coffee with beans was very tasty. Stuff was very kind and helpful. We stayed there only one night but if we planned to stay longer, this hotel would be great option.

Our view from the balcony was not great since we saw the balconies and gardens of the neighboring houses. It wasn't a big issue since we were there only one night, we arrived late and check out on time so the view wasn't important.

Location is perfect in the old city. Hotel feels clean and modern even though it’s in an old building and what we really loved was that they have kept some of the old charm and historical significance around by the breakfast room with lots of old photos and artifacts and it seems you can even book a ‘traditional room’ although we didn’t investigate this. Breakfast was excellent with a breakfast buffet as well as a cooked breakfast option with eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. and also proper coffee! Bathroom was huge and modern with an excellent shower and lots of soaps and shampoos and creams provided. Parking was easy and reasonably priced.

Perfect location- right at the main street full of restaurants and shops, and only a 10-min walk from the checkpoint crossing Very kind staff. We got complimentary red wine since it’s our honeymoon; they also gave us the best room possible (4th floor with balcony space, though no spectacular view in the neighborhood anyway); the staff at breakfast remember our preference and brought our favourite grilled halloumi without us even asking:)

I knew already it’s quite small but the bathroom is still a bit smaller than I thought. Some things could have been designed better for more space, although it wasn’t a deal breaker especially if it’s just a two-night stay. It also seems expensive for its size but that seems to be true across all hotels I checked for Nicosia.

A very pleasant stay! The hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, though some vegetables would have been a nice addition. Overall, an excellent experience that I highly recommend! The location is great.

With only one night in Nicosia, we chose the Centrum Hotel primarily because of its excellent location: less than 10 minutes’ walk from the bus station, the green line crossing into the Turkish sector, Ledra Street, Eleftheria Square and the Shacolas Observatory. The staff were friendly and helpful, we were given a room upgrade to the top floor (401) where it was very quiet, and we had a good night’s sleep. The room was rather bare and spartan, fine for an overnight stay but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay there for a week. The bathroom was functional but had a rather cold and basic feeling, with no water trap to keep the water within the shower area. However, everything was very clean, with good toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. The electric heating system worked efficiently. One of the best aspects of our stay was the excellent Cypriot-style breakfast, part buffet and part cooked in the kitchen. It was served on the lowest floor of the building, where we were surrounded by interesting vintage gadgets, displayed rather like a museum! We would certainly recommend this hotel, and particularly for its location and its breakfast! Read less
